- Heribert O.June 2024PositivosThe campsite as a wholeNegativosnoneBeautiful, quiet campsiteIt was our first time at this campsite. The peace and quiet was the first thing we noticed. The showers and toilets are clean. Bread and rolls are available at the campsite, shopping in the supermarket nearby. You can walk into the town of Bolsena. I was surprised about the waste disposal. Every morning from 8:30-10:30 you could drop off your garbage. A man took the garbage and separated it. Unfortunately, the beach is very small.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Fabian C.August 2023PositivosFriendly nice service, good pizza. Nice parking space.NegativosVery unkempt and dirty sanitary facilities. Constant dog barking and noisy neighbors who sometimes grilled with charcoal until 23:00. Annoying stench of barbecue lighter, was hardly bearable.Vacation at Lago di BolsenaI wanted to visit the homeland of my ancestors with the camper, but the campsite disappointed us overall.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Peter und Beate M.September 2022PositivosLocationNegativosAccess roadNice placeIn September, the site was already very empty and we had a free choice of pitches. In the high season it is probably much more crowded here as the pitches are rather small. The access to the site is very narrow and a bit adventurous. The site is located directly on the lake with its own small beach.... The sanitary facilities are very spacious and fairly new. The only thing is that you can't regulate the water temperature in the showers yourself, so you have to take what comes. The store on site is adequate, the restaurant is good. The staff are extremely friendly. Bolsena is a great walk along the lake.Traduzido automaticamente.

- christa C.August 2021PositivosLocation on the lake and close to the city, very quiet, spacious pitches, everything a camper needs is thereNegativosNarrow unlit access roadItalian vacation on fresh waterBeautiful pitches to choose from - in the sun or in the shade, lots of "green". Good price-performance ratio.
Nice little sandy beach, nice pool too.
Good restaurant.
Great excursion destinations in the surrounding area.
Sanitary: no toilet paper or hand dryer, no urinals and toilet seats (men). cramped.... Would be easy to improve...
Not far into town by bike, but dangerously unlit at night and no cycle path on the road.
Groundsman constantly at work with a "diesel car" (fixed service times and electric motor would be better).
All in all, a place to come back to.Traduzido automaticamente. - Herb D.August 2020PositivosAccess to the lakeNegativosRestaurant open for too short a time. Mini market sparsely equipped.Highly recommendedThe location directly on the lake with its own access is very beautiful. The meadow is overgrown with deciduous trees and olives. The small pool has a shady sunbathing area. Bolsano is within walking distance.
You should book in advance for the restaurant.
The supermarket is only stocked with the essentials.
The reception was very friendly.
No entertainment, this can be found in the square next door.Traduzido automaticamente. - Richard S.August 2019PositivosGentle tourism with individuality that has become rare The beach Space to relax under the trees in front of the beach Great area and beautiful lakeNegativosPool was a bit dirtyVery nice relaxed campsiteWe spent 10 indescribably relaxing days at this beautiful campsite in August 2019. We felt very comfortable, as both the campsite and Lake Bolsena were wonderfully relaxing.
The sanitary facilities are functional, not much luxury, but everything you need and were always clean.
The pitches vary, but we... had booked and got a really big shady pitch. What we liked is that not everything is planned and there is plenty of space for the general public in the beach area, for example. Some other campsites would have made 5 'expensive' pitches out of this.
Small store available. Supermarket very close by.
Great area (Bolsena surprised us with a great town festival and is still within walking distance along the beach) and not yet so overcrowded.
The restaurant on site was also ok, not gourmet cuisine of course.
Nice staff everywhere.
We will definitely be back again.Traduzido automaticamente. - Anita K.June 2019Very nice!We were very happy with this campsite (traveling with tent and motorcycle)! Friendly people, great service, nice place, good starting point for some culture and motorcycling.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Werner W.August 2018Come againSuper campsite despite the proximity to the street but quiet. Everything on the lake is great. Reception is also friendly. We will be back!Traduzido automaticamente.
- Sebastian B.August 2017PositivosLocation, friendliness, spacious pitches, restaurantNegativos-A real insider tipThis site was the absolute highlight of our tour of Italy! The sanitary facilities are brand new and well maintained. The location is wonderful. Directly on the lake and not far from the town...Traduzido automaticamente.
- Wolfgang S.June 2017PositivosSimply a nice place with ACSI prices.NegativosSomewhat narrow approach.Insider tip UmbriaNice place directly on the lake.pitches sufficiently large on meadow.sanitary new and clean.short walk to Bolsena.restaurant on the square excellent.very many possibilities for leisure activities.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Wolfgang D.April 2017PositivosDirectly on the beach. Well located for excursions to Bolsena, Orivieto pp.NegativosBeautiful placeFamily-run campsite. Some small pitches. Direct access to the lake. Sanitary blocks are new, but not all toilet bowls had toilet seats. Restaurant on site, market was not yet open. Access road somewhat narrow and !!!! drive slowly. Shopping approx. 2 minutes i.R. Bolsena.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Sören S.September 2016PositivosLakeside location near Bolsena near Coop well-kept beautiful pool tasty, inexpensive restaurantNegativosWLAN expensive (5€ day) Sanitary without toilet seats (some outdated)Nice place with moderate sanitary facilitiesWell maintained site, access to the lake. Friendly staff. Strictly observed midday rest. Shopping possibility Coop 2min by car. small supermarket and restaurant on site. Restaurant or pizzeria unfortunately only open in the evening, but then price performance good. By car minutes to Bolsena "City" -... nice little place. The new sanitary facilities in the upper area (near the road) are actually quite good. But no toilet seats are actually a nogo for me and inexplicable. The showers are ok, but a bit too cold for me. The lower sanitary facilities near the lake and the restaurant are a disaster. You can't even take your things into the shower. The toilets have no toilet seats and no paper. In my opinion, you can only tear it down. The pool right on the street looks very neat - but I preferred the lake. Oh, the road didn't really bother us, despite the fact that we were in the upper area. It is there, but not a highway. Perhaps not ideal for those looking for absolute peace and quiet. You could hardly hear it in the lower area. A nice place to stay for a few days.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Silvia H.June 2016Positivosnice, clean sanitary facilities, beautiful lake for swimming, quick access to the city on foot or by bikeNegativosnoneBeautiful campsiteStayed here for two nights in mid-June. In heavy rain we were shown the best places that were not yet so damp. Nice staff. The ground is grass on every pitch, which is wet or almost under water in bad weather. Lake right next door. The town can be reached in 20 minutes on foot via a sandy path along... the lake. Few tourists in the camp and in the town. One sanitary building brand new and heated in cold weather. Very clean in the low season. The older one was also nice and clean.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Thomas L.August 2014PositivosClose to Bolsena, direct access to the beach, helpful staff (English), very varied tree population Sun/semi-shade/shadeNegativosLoud, due to street and animation neighboring caming placeGenerous but noisy spaceMain road only 100m away! Noise disturbance from entertainment evenings at the neighboring campsite until late at night. Narrow beach area without shade, sanitary facilities in the upper very moderate, otherwise mediocre, showers free of chargeTraduzido automaticamente.
- Roland M.May 2014PositivosNear BolsenaNegativosOlder sanitary facilitiesBeautifully situated, close to the town of Bolsena. Overall a somewhat unkempt site with ancient sanitary facilities. Access from the main road somewhat narrow, full of potholes and bushes that drag on the side walls of the camper. Wifi chargeable throughout the site. Only very small section of beach. Pool not yet open at the end of May.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Doris H.April 2014We were in this square on the day it opened. The first impression was very bad. The entire site and the beach were sloppy and unkempt. The sanitary facilities could not be used because the dirt from the winter had not yet been removed. As CC Card users, we were very disappointed by this first impression and we won't be going there again.Traduzido automaticamente.
- anita r.May 2012Small quiet campsite , unfortunately the store was not yet open and neither was the pool . The sanitary facilities are outdated but the restaurant is highly recommended and the pitches are very niceTraduzido automaticamente.
- Florian H.September 2011The pitches at the CP are very nice. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are outdated. The pool is not (or not regularly) cleaned so we didn't use it. The roosters crow early in the morning, which gets you out of bed at 5am :( Location is very good for excursions to Orvieto, Bolsena, Saturnia, ...Traduzido automaticamente.
- Heike F.July 2011PositivosA place to feel at home, lots of things to see in the surrounding areaNegativosRenovate the sanitary facilities.Again and again! We have loved Lake Bolsena and the many opportunities to explore the surrounding area for around 20 years. After we got fed up with the neighboring site (pimped-up sanitary building, but only cold water for brushing teeth, lousy restaurant, tiny pitches, and finally trouble with a site sheriff because... we could only park our car on the neighboring plot with the best will in the world, note, we had paid for a car on the site), we discovered Camping Blu for ourselves. Yes, the sanitary facilities needed it... but the location, the friendliness, especially the restaurant (Antipasto di Lago...) easily make up for it. I used the pool every day on my last visit and found it well-maintained and clean - its location among the olive trees was fantastic, where my book, my little chair and I had a wonderful place to stay. We'll be back again soon. By the way: an affordable campsite even without an ACSI cardTraduzido automaticamente.
