"Fairy tale garden for the whole family - My wife, daughter and I love this secret garden. The view of the stars, moon and planets are amazing! The view of the mountains and nature is breath taking. The home cooked meals every night is served with food fresh from the organic garden. The whole design and build of the place has given me inspiration to my own off-grid cabin. This is the greatest camp area in the world!

"Outstanding Nature Spot with amazing Host - We (f22,m27) have been at this beautiful place in October 2018 and technically it was closed at the time. But Steve the (very helpful!) host let us stay there anyway for a night and we had a really beautiful, calm and pleasent stay in a tent. We have been to a lot of places in europe, but this was by far one of the most beautiful ones. Steve is totally a true nature and eco lover and has created an outstanding eco spot where you can settle and calm down. We had everything you need (composting toilet, clean showers and a lot of space for cooking). If you like nature, and calm eco spots, than you definetly have to visit this one!!! Thanks so much Steve for letting us stay at your wonderful place! Anna & Ramin

"Unique place to experience nature and naturalness - After very good experiences with an eco-camp in Portugal, we were explicitly looking for a place that was also offline in every respect. And we found it at Camp Full Monte. It is exactly as described in the many positive reviews: Denise and Steve are great hosts, it's wonderfully quiet and everything is perfectly clean and cozy. When we were out and about during the day exploring Montenegro, it always felt like we were coming home. We booked the camping package and can only recommend it, because Denise's delicious dinner is not to be missed! Steve sets up the tent in advance and makes sure that the tents are far enough apart. The fact that the Full Monte Clothing is optional definitely makes it a very special place. It was our first naturist experience after visiting nudist beaches and we hope to find more places like the Full Monte on our travels. We hope to travel to Montenegro and the Full Monte again very soon. Thank you Denise and Steve. We hope that Camp Full Monte will stay the way we got to know it for a long time to come

"Uniquely friendly atmosphere in a beautfiul location - We had a fantastic few days staying with Denise and Steve at the beginning of our trip around the southern Balkans. We were made to feel immediately welcome and this was the only campsite we stayed at where there was a genuine 'family' atmosphere with guests and owners relaxing with each other in the evening. A delicious paella on the second evening courtesy of Alejandro (not a permanent volunteer unfortunately) was the highlight of our stay, and eating it with Denise, Steve and the other guests summed up the communal atmosphere of the campsite. Despite not having a car, the campsite was easily accesible from Herceg Novi by taxi or - albeit unfrequently - by bus. In any case we were fortunate to be offered several lifts around the bay by other guests! The facilities were perfectly maintained (and fully sustainable!), and guests who wished to keep themselves to themselves more were able to. We were sad to leave after only three nights, and hope one day to return to Montenegro.

Camp Full Monte is located in Montenegro, just over the border with Croatia and 45 minutes drive from Dubrovnik airport. Our off-grid eco campsite is situated in acres of stunning natural beauty with a natural spring, stream, terraced meadows and …oak woodlands. We offer a unique clothing optional camping experience: High quality, eco-friendly facilities; Tents for hire with everything provided for a good night's sleep; Home cooked food with produce fresh from our organic garden; Peace, tranquility & nearness to nature. The main campsite has been built around our gardens and contains purpose-built facilities (toilets, showers, kitchen etc) with ‘wild camping' available in the adjacent oak woodland. Whether you bring your own tent or hire one of ours, Camp Full Monte is an idyllic setting in which to be natural in nature. The camping holiday you will experience with us is exceptional in Montenegro and Croatia. We are pioneers here in off-grid, green living. Our "just bring a toothbrush" package means you can enjoy all the fun of camping without the hassle or discomfort. We aim to create a ‘home from home' feel - relaxed and informal, where you can have use of our kitchen; help yourself to a book from our library or a game from our extensive collection; challenge fellow guests to Boules or simply cool off in a hammock. If you feel like pottering in our gardens or taking a turn at the BBQ, feel free to get involved! We can provide a "Dish of the Day" for those who do not want to cook for themselves - we can also provide breakfast & lunch on request. We keep numbers small and vehicles off site so that peace and space are not compromised for our campers. There is ample roadside parking adjacent to the site. We cannot currently accommodate caravans or camper vans.

Camp Full Monte is easy to find - if you know how! There are no signs so please see the downloadable documents section of this website for comprehensive directions to Camp Full Monte. In summary : By Road – From …Dubrovnik Airport It’s a straight road from Dubrovnik Airport in Croatia to the Montenegrin border (Debeli Brijeg). You turn left out of the airport and keep going! Although the actual distance is short, the queues at the border crossings can be tedious. You first have to go through the Croatian border and then there is a separate border crossing a few kms down the road to enter Montenegro. Unfortunately the Croatians do not make it easy for tourists to leave their country by bus. There are no direct buses to Montenegro from the airport – you must first get to Dubrovnik City bus station (45 Mins in the wrong direction!) to get a connecting bus back to Montenegro. We have yet to find a reliable bus timetable on-line but there are buses! You can hire a car from Dubrovnik airport that should include Montenegrin insurance but it is worth checking before you drive off. Book in advance on-line via one of the car hire broker sites for the best deals. Alternatively, contact us if you want our help in arranging car hire in Montenegro. Rates are generally cheaper than in Croatia and some Montenegro car hire companies will come to meet you at the airport if you are hiring a car for more than 6-7 days. As soon as you have cleared the passport & customs checks at the Montenegrin border and start to drive off, you will see a road on your left that runs parallel to the border crossing, signposted ‘Prijevor’ – it is no more than 100 metres from the customs point. Take this road. You will feel as if you are going back on yourself as you drive alongside the border you have just crossed! If you pass a Luk Oil petrol station on your left you've already missed the turning. Within about 0.5km you will see an old wooden ship on the right hand side. The road forks just after this, going slightly off to the right and up. Take this road. You stay on this road with it’s many hairpins (some less gentle than others!) going ever upward. There are no proper roads off this main route for approximately 3 kms until you come to a large open turning area with a green bench. Don't cross this area! There is a smaller, more rockier track that bears sharp left. Take this left turn. It doesn't look it's right but it is! Within 500m you will see a palm leaf fence on your left hand side – you’ve arrived! Park. Ring the bell at the lower gate to the campsite and we'll come to greet you and help you with your luggage.
