The showers were also broken.Terribly abusive responsible personHello from Istanbul, Last week we were travelling in Croatia with our camping car, and we had a stopover in Autocamp Mario in the beautiful island of Brac on Wednesday, 17th of June 2015 at around 18:30. The camp is located near the famous Zlatni Rat beach, and a few hundred meters further from the town... Bol. We stopped over for about half an hour and our aim was to discharge our WC and kitchen waste waters, to fill our clean water tank and to take showers (we were 2 people) in the facility. We asked the person in charge the stuff that we planned to do, and he said that it's OK, he showed us the waste discharge center, the water filling facility and the showers, etc. One thing we did not do, however, was to discuss the prices of the things we planned to do. Since we had stayed in another camping area the night before (close to the Bosnian border) and paid 114 Kunas for a whole night's stay, we believed that for the services we should pay at most 40-50 Kunas to the camp (since we did not stay for the night, only stayed for half an hour an discharged our waste + used their water for a very brief period). Since initially we had a (very professionally faked) positive reaction from the responsible person, we even believed that we could maybe even get away for free. When we approached the responsible person, and asked how much we owed to him, we were absolutely shocked when he demanded 140 (yes, one hundred forty) Kuna's for the services (half an hour stay, two showers, filling the water tank, discharging the waste). Believing it to be a joke, we asked how that would have been possible since we had only spent 114 Kunas the night before for the exact services + an overnight stay, he indicated that it "wasn't his problem". He even added that we should have asked the prices before hand in a terribly sarcastic manner. He went even further to comment that the showers were 50 Kunas each (I should add that the showers were broken and that my girlfriend was stuck inside one of them for 5 minutes before finally managing to get out). When we started disputing about the manner, he began laughing about it, and wouldn't even listen to us. He enjoyed our desperate situation and the way we were shocked. Since we did not have enough to pay the amount, we finally settled for 100 Kunas and went away from the camp. I wanted to report this person and the to wherever possible. This person was terribly abusive, and did not hesitate to take full advantage of a situation after seizing an opportunity.
- Günter U.September 2014PositivosGreat location with wonderful views, secluded olive grove, good starting point for hiking.NegativosFor water rats the distance to the sea, for the offered service proud price - information of the place operator is not correct.Small, fine private pitch - for active and lazy peopleThe site is situated above Bol with a wonderful view of Hvar and the mainland with the Biokovo mountains. This is also the only real disadvantage - that the sea (Golden Horn) is about 1/2 hour's walk away. However, the campsite operator offers a shuttle to the beach - and this disadvantage applies equally... to the other campsites. However, the site is ideally located for hikes in the Vidova Gora area or for cycling (mountain biking!) tours. There is a beautiful olive grove behind the terraces with the pitches, which provides shade on hot days. There is a restaurant on the site, but it was closed during the NS.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Bibino B.June 2011The worst campsite in Croatia! Rude, services promised and not guaranteed, reception often closed. Shameful.Traduzido automaticamente.
