At Lake Caldonazzo you really have everything you could wish for in terms of leisure activities. Cycling is a bit difficult for children due to the lack of cycle paths. But otherwise the area is a dream.

We had arrived by chance and both of our favorite pitches were fully booked. At Belvedere we got a shady double pitch for our caravan (VW bus and caravan). The operators were very friendly, there is a store with fresh bread rolls and... a café, and there are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. The lake is only separated from the campsite by a small road. The place was an ideal starting point for beautiful mountain bike tours for us, it was just too hot for hiking at 36 °C. We found the price/performance ratio to be very good, we paid 100 euros for 5 nights (including tourist tax). The wash house is very clean, there could be more shelves and hooks in the showers.
