- Tom K.September 2023PositivosShuttle bus for € 1,-- Friendly staff at receptionNegativosShowers 50 cents, narrow pitchesAlberobello - Trulli townBrilliant location to visit the famous Trullis of Alberobello, you are taken into town by shuttle bus for €1 per person (approx. 2 km)
The campsite itself is well structured, the reception (English) is really very friendly.
As usual in Italy, the pool can only be used with a swimming cap (we had to get... one first)
Sanitary area a bit outdated, but clean and well maintained.
50 cents for a (short) hot shower is unreasonable.
The pitches are well shaded by trees.
However, they are a bit cramped and therefore the pitches, which are large enough in themselves, are not easy to access.
Overall, however, we felt very comfortable at Campeggio dei Trulli and the price was also ok.Traduzido automaticamente. - Kim H.July 2018PositivosShurtleservice and the cityNegativosNone of themClose to perfekyThe campsite offers a shuttle service for €1 each way, saving you 2 km. sad walk on the roadTraduzido automaticamente.
- Roland M.May 2018PositivosClose to the city, fast WLAN free of charge, friendly receptionNegativosSimple sanitary facilities like in the fiftiesAlberbelloThe campsite is about 3 km from Trulli village. Shuttle several times a day. Pitches ok, but not very big. On time Sanitary old, borderline. Showers cost 50 cents...the hot water tank is quickly empty, then the showers no longer workTraduzido automaticamente.
- Petra B.May 2018PositivosQuiet location, stable WLANNegativosOld, non-functioning showers. Not recommended for hiking on footGetting on in yearsSanitary facilities are old. Showers cost 50 cents. I still only had cold water. It is about 3 km to the trulli. Walking to Alberobello in the evening is no fun as you have to fear for your life on the busy road with no lighting. WLAN worked.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Mark H.April 2018PositivosClose to the cityNegativosRight next to a discoWellThe site is close to the city center (within walking distance). Sanitary facilities not so nice, right next to a disco.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Sergio M.August 2017A campsite to visit Alberobello onlyA rather deplorable camping area in a campsite with good facilities but very few. Far from the town and without a restaurant, it does not invite you to return.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Klaus M.May 2017PositivosGood starting point to visit AlberobelloNegativos-- none--Great to visit in AlberobelloThe campsite is great for visiting the trulli village of Alberobello (Smurfs' Village). There is a shuttle service that goes to Alberobello every 2 hours (May) and costs €1/person. The showers are clean, although a bit southern Italian :-). The road is far enough away so that you are quite quiet. 24€ for the pitch incl. 2 people with camper van and shuttle service is OKTraduzido automaticamente.
- Hansjörg E.September 2016PositivosClose to Lultur and yet far away from the hustle and bustle.NegativosOnly a limited selection of food.Highly recommendedStayed at this campsite in September. Friendly welcome and staff were also extremely accommodating. We appreciated the shuttle bus to the trulli village as we arrived by motorhome.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Klaus L.May 2014PositivosCentrally located CP in Apulia. Alberobello and the surrounding area, fantasticIdeal for exploring Alberobello and the surrounding areaFriendly and helpful staff. You get detailed information about the town and surrounding area when you check in. The pitches are nicely situated under trees but very narrow. In the first third of the month, the campsite was only slowly waking up from hibernation. The swimming pool was closed. The sanitary... facilities were being cleaned with a pressure washer to remove the traces of winter. The sanitary facilities are quite basic and there is only cold water at the washbasins and sinks. Showers are equipped with coin-operated machines. Unfortunately they didn't work at first, only cold water for 2 days. Apart from a bread roll service, there is no catering on site. However, there is a supermarket nearby.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Peter M.November 2013Very nice place, sanitary facilities older but very clean. Reception very friendly and helpful, very good place for exploring Alberobello.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Martin D.July 2013The staff are very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are very basic but clean. The location of the campsite is very suitable for excursions, we would be happy to come back at any time.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Franz S.August 2010Excellent location for exploring Alberobello. Beautiful pitches with plenty of space. Zero supplies in the camp, but there is a supermarket 1km away, which the reception is happy to point out. Heavenly: NO ANIMATION !!! The only place in Italy where we were spared this madness. The pool is large and... almost 4m deep, but some crackpot has come up with the rule that you can only enter it with a swimming cap. We used to have this nonsense back in the seventies! The woman at reception is very helpful, provides a clear map of the area and explains what there is to see. Price 2+2+car+tent: 41 euros in August.Traduzido automaticamente.
