- Lysann E.August 2023PositivosPeace and quiet, cooling off in the poolNegativosunkempt overall impressionHidden quiet placeThe campsite is conveniently located in the mountains above Genoa for an overnight stay. The campsite is located on both sides of a very narrow road with hardly any traffic near the village of Garbagna. The village can be easily reached on foot via the aforementioned road and offers the essentials: a... tiny grocery store, bakery, pharmacy as well as a few restaurants and pizzerias and a picturesque old town center. From this village you can hear the bells of the two churches from time to time - and nothing else! It is wonderfully quiet on this site! Due to its location on the mountainside, the campsite itself is laid out in terraces with steps and ascending and descending paths. Overall, everything is a bit cramped. However, the camping pitches are mostly laid out in alcoves, so you still have an individual pitch that is shielded from the neighbors. The campsite operator is very friendly. There is a medium-deep pool, which also offers a play area for small children thanks to the slightly wider staircase entrance. The pool has certainly seen its best days, but is nicely situated in the middle of the green surroundings and also offers free sun loungers. The sanitary facilities are okay, but you have to bring your own toilet paper. Unfortunately, the general condition of the site lowers the feel-good factor somewhat. Unfortunately, the area around the "reception" in particular looks very unkempt and run-down.Traduzido automaticamente.

- Marco M.September 2017Positivos- For stopover on transit - Very quietNegativos- NowherePassageWe have now been to this site twice for one night each time on our way to Tuscany. It is well suited for this. About 15 minutes from the highway, through small villages (approach sometimes very narrow and winding). Very friendly and uncomplicated. In a small forest in the middle of nowhere. Very quiet, except for barking dogs at night. Sanitary facilities are old but clean. Very sunny pitches available.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Ulrike K.August 2017PositivosEnvironment, friendliness, pitch, peace, pool!NegativosNo store on site.Small, cozy campsite in the middle of beautiful nature! We were looking for a stopover from Genoa (ferry) to Germany. The campsite is about 1 hour from the port. We arrived very late in the evening in the dark and were given a friendly welcome. We were allocated an idyllic pitch which was also suitable for our long trailer. The site is very quiet, surrounded... by nature. There is a well-maintained pool. The sanitary facilities are simple but clean and functional. We would have liked to stay longer. A great place for those seeking peace and quiet!Traduzido automaticamente.

- Mark R.June 2014PositivosShort-term pitch opposite the entrance Good for an overnight stay Great (winding) approach In the middle of nature New pool Nice ownerNegativosNot on the highway possibly somewhat narrow access to the individual plots No major shopping facilities in the vicinityGreat campsite for an overnight stay or longerWe were actually only looking for this campsite to spend the night with our two motorcycles. The site is a bit out of the way, but it's perfect for an overnight stay between the Genoa/Savona ferry port and the journey home (Germany). I had actually only found one review here, after which we decided on... this site and I have to say it was great. Here, camping is still partly lived in its original form. Friendliness, hospitality, in the middle of nature away from tourism, large pitches, etc. One of the two owners (who is only here from mid-June to mid-August) gave us a friendly welcome (the English communication worked very well!!) We even got a good price for an overnight stay in a caravan, so we didn't even have to put up our tent after a strenuous drive). The sanitary facilities are great. There are lockable individual showers and lockable small wash "rooms" with toilets, which were well maintained and cleaned. The brand new large pool in the upper part of the campsite definitely seems to be new. Although this campsite is mostly used as a stopover during the main season, I could imagine staying a few days longer. The slightly larger pitch opposite the entrance is ideal, as you can also park there in the evening if you arrive a little later. This saves you having to search for a suitable pitch just for a quick overnight stay. You can certainly settle the bill the next morning. You can also make yourself comfortable in the lounge when the weather is bad. There is a fridge where you can stock up on drinks, payment is made on a "trust basis" in a cup :) For everything else you have to go down to the village (5-10 min walk). There is a mini-supermarket there that has the essentials. You can also get bread rolls there. However, it is really only a small village, which is also very friendly!!! To summarize: We liked it very much despite the one overnight stay and we would come again. Greetings to the nice owner :)Traduzido automaticamente.
- Uwe P.September 2011This site is ideal as a stopover before the ferry port of Genoa or for nature-loving campers looking for peace and quiet. The site is located away from a beautiful village (Garbagna) in the middle of the forest. Part of the landscaped site is to the right of the road, while a natural part of the site... in the forest is to the left of the road, opposite the entrance. This part is better suited for overnight stops for caravans. The approach is no problem, even if it is partly on narrow roads, even with caravans. Important: Take the highway exit Vignole Borbera! Place under holl. Management. Good restaurants in the village, within walking distance. Idyllic market square at the Campanile. Sanitary facilities okay.Traduzido automaticamente.
