- Katja E.June 2019Not recommendedRun down mobile home, dirty, stuffy air, no air conditioning, no hot water available. Mobile home smells extremely moldy. Not worth the money. Situation in the bathroom very disgusting 🤢 Barbecuing only possible in public areas, barbecuing on the pitch is prohibited. You have to borrow a grill at the reception, the week probably costs 20€. Normally you should expect money back.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Severin B.August 2018PositivosThe campsite is manageable and when we were there there was a family atmosphere. It is clean and the staff are friendly.NegativosThe nearest shopping center can only be reached on foot along the main road which runs past the campsite.Beautiful, family campsiteLast year we stayed 2 nights at this beautiful campsite. The reservation in advance worked very well and we were expected promptly for the 2 nights we had booked. We were able to choose between several pitches for our motorhome. We opted for a pitch right next to the barbecue area. This is very nice... and offers space for lots of people. You can hire a barbecue grill from reception. It is like new every time and you have to bring it back after the barbecue. In general, the campsite is clean and the staff are friendly.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Bärbel S.October 2017PositivosGreat view over the lake Children's playgroundNegativosWash houseLocated directly on the lakeWe liked the place very much. Great view from the shore over the lake. We stayed at the campsite in October and were able to choose our own pitch. Depending on the pitch, the road was very quiet. The children's pitch is versatile. Showers with "card", should be charged immediately on arrival! Showers... are renovated, but the toilet, washroom and washing-up facilities are in urgent need of restoration. However, there is a second, already renovated, wash house!Traduzido automaticamente.

- Gero W.April 2017Positivosbeautiful region quite nice places in the outskirtsNegativosVery simple, draughty sanitary facilities On main road without sidewalk No water at the pitch hardly any English despite "international"Nice regional location. Rather unsuitable for families.Unfortunately not particularly suitable for families with small children. We stayed here for a week at the end of April (low season) with a caravan trailer. The name "International" doesn't quite fit. English is spoken in rough rudiments. When I asked where I could refill the camping gas, I was offered... WiFi. However, Italian is fine here. Most of the pitches seem to be permanent campers. Location (+--) The area is very idyllic and beautiful. The only problem is if you want to walk from the site to the village. This was not feasible for us with a baby carriage. The main road has no sidewalk and the cars drive fast! There is no room for a truck to walk. We tried anyway in the rain. Unfortunately, some cars drove through the pillars and we were soaked down to our underpants. That's no problem with a car. The stores for shopping are only 1-2 km away and there are also several sights and beautiful places to visit. The restaurant is only open very sporadically, mainly not at all. The pool is still closed (no water) and the lake is not/hardly accessible (construction work). Therefore I cannot rate this. Pitch (++-) Well located. There are nice peripheral areas with trees. Unfortunately without water connection. There is electricity - but the fuses are already out with a kettle + small coffee machine. Otherwise spacious. Sanitary facilities (---) Mmh ... They are available. Very simple with a supporting roof and unheated. Therefore a bit draughty in cold temperatures. The showers cost quite a lot (0.20 Eur/minute). Each has about 1.5x1.5 square meters. Everything(!) gets wet in these small cubicles as the hangers hang almost in the shower. So take sparingly what you need when you shower :-) A used paper lay on a shelf in the shower for a week. The toilets are Italian simple (no toilet seat). Unfortunately rarely clean. This is difficult with children. There is also no place where you can change a baby or bathe! You have to use the small showers. As we had a lot of rain here, this was not pleasant. WiFi (---) Prices are very high: 2 h / 4 EUR 1 day / 5 EUR 10h / 15 EUR 1 week / 20 EUR 1 month /50 EUR As a small family, we will look for a different pitch next time.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Tilman S.July 2016PositivosLocation, nice bar, right on the lake, friendly staff, close to supermarket.NegativosWifi poor, sanitary facilities should be cleaned more often,RecommendableWe stayed at this campsite for 8 days from the end of July. We would definitely recommend it. Firstly, it is located in the east of Lake Maggiore, where there are simply fewer tourists. There are lots of things to do in the area, tours by bike or on foot, great scenery, charming towns right in the area.... Special feature of the campsite: you can choose your own pitch. And: there is a constant coming and going, which means that there is a good chance of getting a pitch right by the lake. And that's exactly what we had: a view of the mountains of the Alps and the towns across the lake. 5 meters into the lake for a swim. The staff are very nice, in the morning when you get your (rather dry) bread rolls you get your first expresso in the bar by the pool. Delicious pizza there in the evening too. Mainly Italians on site, evening program especially for the many children. Sanitary facilities are apparently only cleaned once in the morning, which is not enough. If you need internet and hope for a wifi connection, you will have a hard time. The line is not right, we tried it with several devices. So we got a SIM card from the city with a cheap data package. Still, it's annoying, why can't operators just make sure that you have internet access on site if they sell it for a lot of money? For me, this is actually a decisive factor when choosing a pitch, hence one star deduction. By the way, there is no small mini market, but there are 3 supermarkets in a row within a kilometer with everything your heart desires. Swimming caps are no longer compulsory. And we didn't have any mud on the shore either. Some algae, yes, but that didn't bother us. All in all, an absolutely recommendable place!Traduzido automaticamente.

- Sigi S.August 2010Pitches cramped with many permanent campers. Black mud ankle-deep on the shore. Swimming in the lake only sensible with a boat. Lots of reeds adjacent. Shower 20 cents per minute, swimming cap compulsory in the pool - for 3 euros at reception, sun loungers by the pool also cost extra. Loud speaker announcements about the entertainment program from 9:30 a.m. Entertainment varied and committed.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Anita Z.August 2010The campsite is beautifully situated on Lake Maggiore, but is very unsuitable for swimming. The beach is full of mud and dirty. At the official sunbathing area, you first had to stomp calf-high through the mud before you could get into the clean water. And since the beach was absolutely unusable, we... would have liked to use the pool for longer, but it was only open from 13.00-19.00. The sanitary facilities were reasonably clean. As the campsite looked very good in the pictures and there were two free pitches next to each other, we chose this campsite, but will certainly not go there again. Too bad.Traduzido automaticamente.
