- Christian V.July 2024PositivosCan serve as a base camp for many excursions.NegativosNot the quietest place due to the proximity of many bars and restaurants.Starting point for many highlightsFrom the campsite you can reach the bus stop, the harbor or any of the bars or restaurants quite quickly. The bus goes to the train station in Vico Equence, which offers connections to Naples and Pompeii. Vesuvius can also be reached from there. The harbor takes you to Sorrento, from where you can take... boat trips to Amalfi or Capri, for example. About the campsite: the very friendly owner is always happy to offer help and advice. He speaks several languages, which makes communication very easy. The sanitary facilities are getting on in years but offer toilet paper and soap. It is clean and there is more hot water than needed 😉 There is a mini market on site and a restaurant for meals. The campsite is a little difficult to reach for large vehicles, but not impossible.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Florian F.September 2021Positivos- Communication in German possible - Beautifully situated place - Sanitary quite new and clean - Friendly staff - Restaurant on site very goodNegativos- It's quite tight on the course - Quite a sloping position (large equalizing wedges alone were not enough)Nice little placeWe spent one night on the site during our vacation this year.
The sanitary facilities are quite new and clean.
The restaurant on site is not large but offers a good selection and the price-performance ratio is excellent.
The campsite is run as a family business. There is a good, friendly family atmosphere....
The operator speaks good German and is happy to provide information about activities and the region.
Directly in front of the entrance to the campsite is a landing stage for boats with which you can travel directly to Capri or Amalfi.
Unfortunately, our pitch was a bit crooked. We couldn't get our motorhome completely straight with large wheel chocks.
Unfortunately, we could only stay one night as the weather put a spanner in the works. However, we will stay here again the next time we are in the area.Traduzido automaticamente. - Nadine K.October 2019Positivos- by the sea - Short, beautiful walks along the beach - Boat trip back to the campsite at sunset (fantastic) - Café and croissants available for breakfast - nice serviceNegativos- Nuts fell on the roof tent (scared us) - but there are safety nets almost everywhere, you just have to park underneath =) - No restaurant on the campsitesweetSmall campsite on the coast of Vico Equense.
This place is suitable to go by boat (organized trip) to Amalfi etc. or by train to Pompeii or Naples.
Giovanni looks after his guests well. He also speaks German and explains the best way to get around.
We didn't find any really good restaurants at this time...Traduzido automaticamente. - Heribert O.July 2019PositivosFriendliness of the owner.NegativosAntsSpace for sightseeing in Naples, Sorrento and CapriWe wanted to stay 2 to 3 days, but unfortunately we had ants all over the place after the first night, so we only stayed one day, partly because of the heat. However, the place is recommendable, as boats to Naples, Sorrento and Capri leave from the port just a few meters away.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Dietmar V.July 2018Great vacation! We spent some nice days on the site; the owner Giovanni took care of the orderly briefing as well as the questions and needs of the campers (where, what, how?). Market and bus/train ticket sales on site; toilets simple, clean, as is the whole site. Great starting point for excursions. Beach to the left... of the marina very small; beach to the right long and beautiful long bay; unfortunately partly polluted. PS The entrance is not a particular challenge with a trailer; however, I wouldn't want to meet a bus on the road to Seiano, neither up nor down...Departure: Wait for the bus at the main square.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Peter S.June 2016PositivosNice owner speaks good GermanNegativosNarrow, winding access roadShady place, well suited for sightseeing!shady place at the harbor. Narrow access road with many bends! Sanitary facilities old but clean. Nice owner speaks good German. Starting point for sightseeing - best by bus. Maps available at reception. Price for 2 people in June 2016: with ACSI €21Traduzido automaticamente.
- Alfred M.April 2016PositivosThe lemon trees.NegativosPoor price-performance ratio. Ancient sanitary facilities, no toilet paper, hot water only with coins, WiFi very expensive.Worst place in the Gulf of NaplesApart from the very pretty lemon trees, the site is loveless and unkempt, the sanitary facilities antique and unclean. The site is difficult to reach via a steep, badly paved road, not a good starting point for sightseeing. Hot showers cost 1 euro, dishwashing only with cold water, WLAN expensive.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Johann (Hans) G.May 2015PositivosGood, fast access through the 5 km long tunnel.NegativosYou're kind of stuck hereBeautiful natural placeGetting to the site is a bit of a hassle. The gate-like entrance looks too low, but even large motorhomes have been able to get through. The site itself looked unkempt, the san building almost antique. The restaurant was still closed, but you get percentages for a pizzeria just below the square, which... was very good. Dogs are welcome, but there are no facilities for walking them. So, everything with poop bags. The site manager is very friendly and helpful and speaks good German, which is not common in the area. Good train connection to Sorrento and the other direction to Pompeii and Naples. Unfortunately, the train station is much higher than the square and there is no parking lot there. The best way to make excursions is with the Sita bus anyway. Nevertheless, one of the better campsites on the Sorrento Peninsula.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Sonja H.October 2014PositivosQuiet and excellently located for sightseeingNegativosVery old sanitary facilities, partly cold water when showering despite 1,00 € coinsQuietly located campsiteA quiet site, very close to the small harbor. The sanitary facilities are very old and need to be completely renovated, but they are clean. Only cold water when washing up and sometimes also in the showers, despite the coin slot. Unfortunately, there are a lot of mosquitoes on the site, which is surrounded... by lemons, limes, olives and walnut trees. The owner is very friendly and attentive, also with regard to excursions in the surrounding area. Tickets for bus trips or for the boat trip to Capri can be purchased directly at the campsite. The campsite is ideally located for all destinations in the surrounding area, such as Naples, Vesuvius, Pompei, Capri and the Amalfi Coast. You need strong nerves for the car traffic, especially in this area, and in Vico Equense, as almost everywhere in this area, there is a current lack of parking spaces. So it's better to take the bus. The owner knows the departure times and will drive himself if necessary :-) Conclusion: With some reservations about the sanitary facilities, a quiet, ideally located site with a friendly owner.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Sigrid K.May 2014PositivosWell located for sightseeing(Naples-Amalfi Coast-Capri....)Very friendly operatorThis place is very well suited for activities in the area, easily accessible by train. Unfortunately, the boat trip on the Amalfi Coast is no longer available on site, but the nearest boat harbor is easily accessible by train. The restaurant right next door is very good (owned by the same owner) and is reasonably priced for CP "residents"Traduzido automaticamente.
- Joachim L.May 2013Pitches on a large meadow under lemon trees. The sanitary facilities are quite old and in need of a thorough renovation, but are very clean. Thanks to the very good and convenient bus and train connections, you can explore all the towns up to Naples and the entire Amalfi Peninsula from here. Particularly noteworthy is the exceptionally good service for guests, especially for excursions, tickets, etc.. Therefore highly recommended.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Robert K.March 2013Beautiful location, near a harbor, beach promenade, pitches (unparceled) partly under lemon, tangerine, olive and walnut trees! The terrain is slightly sloping - bring enough wheel chocks! Sanitary building: in large, covered containers, somewhat older but clean; washbasin and dishwashing sink with cold... water only. Coin-operated showers (included with ACSI). Washing machine on site (3 euros). Store and restaurant (closed in winter) on site; mobile homes available; shuttle bus to the train station (season - the manager drove us up!); German-speaking. The gate is closed at night (0 - 7 am)! Quiet location, several restaurants in the village. Great starting point for excursions to Sorrento and Capri!Traduzido automaticamente.
- Jürgen T.June 2010The campsite is beautifully situated just outside the city. It is an ideal base camp for visits to Naples. All the sights can be reached easily and quickly by bus, train or boat. Information and tickets are available from Giovanni at reception. It couldn't be easier. Super!!!Traduzido automaticamente.
- Trevor H.April 2010Site within old citrus orchard, entrance looks onto very small small fishing port/village. Different and quaint, worth a stay. Extremely helpful owner/manager. Very quiet in April. 200+ steps to larger town for any real shopping but owner happy to drive us there and to railway station (easy access Pompei-Sorrento).... Probably much more lively place in Summer with recreational boating etc. Ablutions clean but older. Tight access road for large motorhome.
