- Herbert K.June 2021PositivosFriendly staff, spacious pitchesNegativosThe place would be perfect with a poolTolerant and friendly cooperationFriendly staff at reception, in the restaurant and even the cleaning staff. You can also get by with German or English. Overall clean site and clean sanitary facilities. Spacious, mostly natural pitches. Picnic areas for campers scattered around the site, there is a swimming lake and a fishing lake.... The site borders the River Doller on one side. Dogs can also swim here. Bouncy castle, large inflatable slide into the bathing lake and playground for children. (The slide is also fun for older children). Inexpensive restaurant and bread service on site. Nearby historic steam train and the Doller cycle path, although this is rather boring. Shopping facilities Hyper U 1.5 km away. Good starting point for hikes, e.g. around the Lac de Michelbach, as well as visits to the museums in Mulhouse and GuebwillerTraduzido automaticamente.
- Nicolas D.July 2019PositivosQuiet, Clean, SimpleSimple, clean, quiet,Found by chance, very large pitches, artificial lake ideal for cooling off, incl. sandy beach and bouncy castle slide, fish pond can be fished, large playground, natural stream with large stones, electricity supply very well solved with a cable reel easily accessible EU plug, Bread service with pre-order... worked and was good quality, CP is well located for day trips in the region, close to the highway but still very quiet, now and then an airplane approaching Basel but not worth mentioning, sanitary facilities clean with hot water, the only negative is the water showers that have to be constantly pressed. Staff family business who have recently bought the place and are constantly improving. They make a lot of effort and were very friendly. Ideal for families with small children.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Robert H.July 2018PositivosOriginal camping, tidy, clean, value for money, large pitches (mostly without hedges)NegativosNothing experienced...For those passing through and more - warm, original, simple, cleanThis has been our first address for years as a transit campsite on the way to the Costa Brava. Found by chance in the first year (late in the evening, after calling ahead), and then used again and again. In 2018 also for a longer stay. Value for money: Very reasonable. Family-run, so no 24/7 service... but always warm and friendly. Bingo rather than disco in the evening, including a folklore evening ("Alsatian evening"), which was even advertised in the neighboring village. Fantastic: The bread/roll/croissant service. The kitchen: Everything is done "family-style". If you don't feel like cooking, just go there (during opening hours). Always free places with a free choice. No luxury, but original and well-kept. Atypical for France: toilets WITH toilet paper. Has something "dignified" about it... ;-) Sanitary facilities absolutely OK, closed wash house, even heated when it's cooler. In the immediate vicinity of the large wash house you can easily hear the humming of the water treatment 24/7, so we stay away from it. Showers with fixed temperature. It's ok. We have noticed a positive development in the last three years: The site is being looked after more and is developing, there are vacation cottages, there is a huge water slide at the "natural pond" (also with algae, depending on the weather): great for the kids who are tired in the evening! The playground is great. Just the thing to let off steam after a long drive. The small river "Doller" directly behind the campsite is also great: in July, the water is only knee-deep, there is a pebble riverbed and you can play at being a beaver ("Castor") and dam up the water at the edge (only a few centimetres, but with a fun factor!). A few pieces of sports equipment are scattered around the campsite. You can go jogging on the campsite and directly around it. (Natural paths, not asphalted) The nearest villages are very picturesque. As so often: the weekly market (in Masevaux) is a must, as is a ride on the historic steam train (www.train-doller.org). If you don't expect luxury, but rather traditional camping, you'll find everything here! And as always . "As you come, so you will be received". If someone is not immediately available at reception, don't worry! People are just busy. Just wait a little and you'll be helped. And after a few words of French (for those who know it...), it's all the easier to switch to German. As I said: family-run, small campsite. Really quiet at night, you (almost) don't hear the road at all. In 2018 we were not just passing through for the first time, but stayed at the campsite for about a week because we had broken off our Costa Brava vacation due to the noise at night. (see Camping Las Palmeras/Sant Pere Pesqador review) We love this place, and if my wife didn't absolutely want beach and sun, we would be here more often.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Nicole J.May 2018Positivosordered breads and croissants were very tasty, ok for a night in transit, not for a longer stay, not cozyNegativosLack of cleanliness, older lady at reception was very nasty, younger lady (Claire) was ok, pond was totally demanded and muddyHomepage promises more than reality offersGreat homepage, if we hadn't made a reservation and arranged to meet friends there, we would have gone straight on. The rented wooden hut was still nice, even if the location directly at the high ropes park was too busy with many guests during the day. Camping toilet was very dirty and disgusting, luckily... we were able to book the toilet in the rented hut. Some of the pitches with old caravans on them were totally run down, the new residential pitchesTraduzido automaticamente.
- Detlef P.August 2017PositivosNoneNegativosNoneSlightly differentThis place has no charm; on one side permanent campers; on the lake tourist places; everything seems thrown together; large pitches; WLAN good; despite the road quite quiet; quirky staff, not unfriendly; access road in poor condition; good place even in August; everything quite okTraduzido automaticamente.

- Susanne F.September 2016Space with few frillsWe were at the beginning of Sept for 10 nights on this place good: - free choice of place - large places - electricity connection not far away - water in the shower really warm (not adjustable) - water pressure in most showers i. o. - good location to the highway - Super U supermarket not far away -... bike path nearby (over the road at the back in the industrial area "hidden" less good: - reception staff not particularly motivated - access road with deep holes / grooves - old entrance gate is still lying around, like many other things (looks so untidy) - few toilets and showers (after the season) - no parking spaces - no parking lot. Showers (not important in the post-season) The bathing lake was not usable, as there was little water in it and a lot of greenery (not important for us) ASCI discount was also available 7=6 nights Restaurant and bread service available, we did not use eitherTraduzido automaticamente.
- Robert J.August 2016PositivosGood milestoneNegativosProbably not much going on for older children!Good place to spend the nightAs already indicated in the headline, we only used the site when driving through. The approach is easy, only when crossing the tracks on the D 466 (clearly visible) you should take your foot off the gas a little more than usual. The pitches are very large, but not separated by hedges. Otherwise, the... simple site makes a clean and well-kept impression. The sanitary facilities (2nd building) were standard but sufficient. There is a supermarket with a petrol station in neighboring Burnhaupt. The staff were friendly and courteous. They also speak German. Definitely a recommendation for a stopover.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Thomas S.August 2015PositivosSpartan, original, creates a feeling of freedom, quietNegativosThe paths are a little dusty in summerSuper stage finishThis is the third time we have used this relatively unspoilt, inexpensive site as a stopover. The staff (German-speaking) are very friendly. Even in August you can reliably find a pitch here with or without electricity (blue plug), the electricity is close to the pitch. The site is very conveniently... located, but the road is almost inaudible. There is a playground for children and you can swim in the pond. You can also go fishing. I like the Spartan, rustic feel of the site, the sense of freedom and the peace and quiet. A good way to get in the mood for a nice vacation in France.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Harald P.June 2012Reception was a cheek, owner didn't even think it was worth saying hello or anything, office was locked and you are not allowed to visit the campsite beforehand. After we rang the bell, we were greeted very warmly, as I said, he couldn't even look us in the face. We can't say anything about the campsite as you are not allowed to view it beforehand. The restaurant is not open 7/7 as described, but 1/2.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Marco H.May 2012Well-kept 3*** campsite with good basic facilities. Quiet location, many different pitches, trees and/or meadows. Sanitary facilities with hot water for showers and washing included. Simple but functional baby shower and changing room. Restaurant, but no "campsite store". Large supermarket 1km away (8-20h).... Small playground for children from about 2-10. Permanently installed beach volleyball court. Wlan in the hourly rate caEU2. Very quiet in the countryside.Traduzido automaticamente.
