- Tanja W.September 2021PositivosTent terraces, manageable size, cleanliness, friendliness, priceNegativosI didn't notice anything negative during our 2-day stay.Very well maintained in a good locationWe spontaneously booked two nights here (as a couple) to stay in a tent to see Freiburg. We liked the tent terraces, which are used from September onwards. The campsite is in a good location and the old town of Freiburg is within easy walking distance. Despite the fairly central location, it is still very idyllic and quite quiet. We would come here again if we were in the area!Traduzido automaticamente.
- Mathias H.July 2021Positivos- friendly operators - nice facility - good sanitary facilities - Beer garden recommendable - close to the old townNegativos- No bread roll serviceGood overall packageSome pitches are quite sloping. However, substructure material is available.
A coherent overall package.Traduzido automaticamente. - Matthias K.April 2021Positivossee coming tarNegativosnothing at allOptimal stayI spent 8 weeks here with my motorhome during the Corona period with a special medical permit.
The starting point of the campsite was ideal, on foot or by bike, into the beautiful countryside or into the city.
The service was courteous right from the start, the campsite facilities were very good and well maintained, some of them newly renovated.Traduzido automaticamente. - Andreas P.August 2020PositivosClose to the city Ideal for exploring the cityNegativosIn Freiburg there are only 30 km/h zones everywhere.Short vacation in FreiburgGreat place, especially to mention the friendliness of the operators. Experienced something like this myself. Top again anytime we come to Freiburg.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Claudia W.July 2019PositivosClose to the city center, quiet location.NegativosThere is a baker who comes in the morning, but no store.Central and yet in the countrysideThe location of the campsite is fantastic. It is surrounded by greenery and yet you can be in the center of Freiburg in 5 minutes by bike. Ideal starting point for sightseeing. The site is small, informal and very quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful. It was my first vacation with my new camper van and I felt very comfortable here. I can recommend the site without reservation.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Irmgard H.November 2018PositivosClose to the city, near SchwarzwaldstadionNegativosLong midday restPleasant and relaxingGreat location to the city center. Right next to the square is a restaurant "zum Stahl" with a very good lunch menu and a beer garden. No bread roll service. Bakery 10 min walk. Bus stop in front of the door no regular service. Reception closed between 12 and 16 o'clock. Several parking spaces "in front of the lockers", which were also reserved. They are exactly opposite the sanitary facilities/kitchen/waste water systemTraduzido automaticamente.
- Andy 5.October 2018PositivosLocation, location, locationNegativosnothing seriousSuper beautifully located city campsiteGreat location for a city campsite, from which you can reach the city center and the tourist highlights on foot and even more so by bike in no time at all. Sanitary facilities are okay in terms of equipment and cleanliness. Staff super friendly. A great place for couples. Streetcar also close by to get... to the surrounding area. Restaurant next door with good food, or just to have a wine in the evening. Lunch break is no longer up to date in our eyes, especially on such a site. We will definitely come back here the next time we visit Freiburg.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Alexandra S.August 2018PositivosBeautiful and top sanitary building. Very good location to Freiburg. Can be reached on foot in a few minutes.NegativosLong walk from the pitch above to the sanitary building. Lots of hustle and bustle during the day. Full.Overcrowded place with a very good location. We were able to park our caravan for one night on the overcrowded campsite. It felt like every little space was still filled with travelers, even right in front of the children's playground. The staff didn't seem directly unfriendly, but that was because they were always caught when it became apparent... that a little more friendliness would be appropriate. We stood downstairs opposite the very nice and well-kept sanitary building. Everything is wonderfully separate, good washing-up area etc. It is very busy during the day, as there is no longer a small house or toilet in the upper, actual campsite area. So you always have to go downstairs from upstairs with everything and because of everything. THERE IS NO TOILET PAPER!!! Without a toilet in the Womo/caravan possibly difficult with children. The upper area was very full and tightly packed with mostly campervans on a string of pearls. Well shaded under the many trees. The tents even further out and with very little shade. For a two-night stay to explore Freiburg and the surrounding area, a great place. Especially downstairs. For a longer stay, where you want to stay on the site to relax, difficult to imagine. It may be completely different in the low season.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Alfred E.June 2018PositivosClose to the city (15 - 20 min walk), quiet and cleanNegativosNone!Top stayFriendly and competent staff. Quick and flexible allocation of seats. I can't understand previous comments about the showers being too small! Steep access to the pitches.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Klaus G.June 2018PositivosExtremely quiet place, nothing could be heard at night, the loudest was the birdsong in the morning .....NegativosPlease note: during quiet hours (1 to 3 pm and from 8 pm to 8 am) you cannot drive on the site - that's why it's so quiet!A successful stay!My wife and I stayed at the Hirzberg campsite with our caravan last week. The short queue at check-in at 3pm was dealt with quickly and efficiently. A team member showed us around the site, helped us maneuver the caravan and even helped us align it - very helpful on the allocated pitch. The flexibility... in extending the stay when the pitch was full was also remarkable. It was simply made possible without any fuss - respect. We found all the team members to be extremely friendly and helpful - many thanks again at this point.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Josef K.October 2017PositivosClean, close to the city and not too bigNegativosSandy subsoil Too many treesShort vacationIdyllically located place not far from the center about 20min walk the sanitary facilities are clean and the staff is mostly friendly and helpful and the bread service works great The sandy surface of the pitches is not so ideal in wet weather and the old trees in the upper row could be cut back times... no SAT reception comes to stand We wanted to change the place the next day but was not possible although even in the afternoon in the front row a place was fei Unfortunately, the free Wi-Fi is only available for a limited timeTraduzido automaticamente.
- Ulrike J.September 2017PositivosSuper briefing, competent team, very clean, fast in Freiburg city centerNegativosBe there early, as they get booked up quicklyA great placeWe are delighted with this place; it is very close to Freiburg, yet quiet. The team is not only very friendly, but also committed and very competent with all our questions and problems. The battery of our old T5 was flat, within 10 minutes we had a quick starter. A perfect environment for campers with... dogs. Sanitary facilities very clean, when were they cleaned, no matter what time, despite the fact that the site was fully booked. We really enjoyed our short break in Freiburg, an ideal start to our vacation. Thanks to the team Ulrike and BrigitteTraduzido automaticamente.
- Wolfgang G.September 2017PositivosClose to the city and cleanNegativosSmall and mostly very shady pitchesA cozy place for visitors to the city of FreiburgThe small campsite is located approx. 1.5 km from Freiburg's old town. In the lower part of the site, opposite the sanitary facilities, there are several camper pitches. A steep driveway leads to the upper part of the site. The small to very small pitches are mostly located under dense old trees and... some of them are borderline steep. Water and waste water are centrally located in each row. The sanitary facilities are functional and were very clean even when fully occupied at the end of September. The site management is friendly, helpful and endeavors to offer all arriving guests a pitch. The proximity to the attractive old town makes it ideal for a stopover. With Acsi we paid €22.90 per night including overnight tax and recycling fee.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Eva L.August 2017PositivosCity center, nice staffNegativosnoneA nice place central to the city and cleanA big compliment to the team at the Freiburg campsite. The site is clean, tidy and the team takes great care of the guests. We stayed there for 3 nights with our motorhome and were right in front of the reception. So we experienced the hustle and bustle there live. The staff are courteous and try to... give everyone a pitch, even when it's late and quite full. The site itself is not big, but you can go on beautiful hikes and bike tours from here. It's about 8 minutes by bike to Heidelberg. The sanitary facilities are clean and tidy. Thank you and we will definitely be back again.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Holger S.August 2017PositivosClose to the city, many old trees, clean sanitary facilitiesNegativosOvercrowdingNo reservation for one nightI wondered why the campsite doesn't take reservations for one night. After we had arrived "on the off-chance", it became clear to me: the site is filled to capacity. At first, you are grateful to get a tiny pitch without a seat. After a sleepless night with a meter distance to the snoring neighbor, it's no longer like that, but a cheek. The comments "Judging by your (Swiss) accent, you can be patient" are also more than out of place.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Volker B.July 2017PositivosClose to the historic city center, good hiking opportunities and close to the Dreisam river. Also suitable for overnight stays.NegativosSmall pitchesQuiet and centrally locatedQuiet and central campsite. The sanitary facilities were very clean, the pitches rather small. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The city center is easy to reach on foot along the Dreisam or over the Schlossberg. Dogs are welcome on the site and in the adjoining restaurant. Tip: For longer stays, a pitch at the end of the row is desirable.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Günter R.May 2017Positivosvery quiet on the outskirts of Freiburg and yet right in the city, about 7min to the streetcar, about 30min walk to the old townNegativosKiosk offer very limited but sufficient, somewhat winding approachquiet, small placeQuiet, small site on a slope. Very friendly and clean. Showers and toilets clean and always cleaned. Contrary to some other comments, we found the showers perfectly adequate and not really smaller than on some other pitchesTraduzido automaticamente.
- Doreen B.March 2017Positivos* Close to the center and yet quietly located * Very helpful staffNegativos-We could not discoverGreat camping start at Hirzberg CampingWe were camping there for a weekend on the first beautiful spring weekend. As we couldn't make it during the opening hours, we gave them a call. At first the machine only answered, but we were called back very quickly and they waited for us to arrive. A very polite team of 3 people welcomed us and brought... us safely with our caravan to our pitch. The site in general is very clean. They make every effort to make it as nice as possible for their guests. The sanitary facilities were warm and clean. The only thing is that you should bring your own toilet paper. There is also emergency toilet paper in the toilet. Showering costs nothing extra and the electricity is also quite cheap. The nearest bakery and Freiburg city center are just a short walk away. The site is also great for small children because of the quiet times at night and the enclosed area. There is also a small "playground". Price/performance is right! We would love to come back! Thumbs up!Traduzido automaticamente.
