- Anja M.agosto 2021PositivosChemical toilet disposalNegativosVery busy road at the campsite DIRECTLY at the tourist pitches. Night's rest when the campsite is occupied by groups of young people: NO SHADOW! No shade - very hot in summer! This place is NOT for those seeking peace and quiet! We were warmly welcomed and our pitch request was granted - thank you for that. Unfortunately we didn't get the Alb-Card automatically at check-in (according to the homepage) - we didn't get it at all because we hadn't read it beforehand. So ask the lady at check-in!
The sanitary facilities are of a... normal standard. They are very tight - the building at the entrance has 4 toilets for the ladies, 1 of which was closed due to Corona, for the men 3 toilets (1 of which was also closed) + 2 urinals. For women and men 3 showers each (1 of which was also closed) with coins - shower time with 1 coin was sufficient, as the time stops when the water is turned off - 2 wash cabins and 3 washbasins. At the back of the pitch there is a "toilet house" with 2 toilets for the ladies and 1 toilet + 1 urinal for the men and sinks outside. Far too few when fully occupied!
The lighting is probably being skimped on, as it was only on once and not all night!
As we were "tied" to the campsite due to a handicap, we were mostly at our camper. As a result, we could hear every car that passed directly behind our caravan (NOT at walking pace). As the weather was sunny, there were lots of them - almost every minute a car drove past - visitors to the reservoir, the restaurants, the miniature golf course, the petting zoo and the miniature town - they all drove in and out once - as the road is a dead end. Late into the night (restaurants close at 10 p.m., after that it gets quieter) - the site operators can't really help that. However, it is their responsibility to ensure that the campers - especially the young people on the campsites - keep quiet at night. Unfortunately, we had to ensure peace and quiet ourselves. Permanent campers also reported loud parties at the lake late into the night.
You can only go shopping in the town after you have climbed a few meters.Traduzido automaticamente. - Nicole G.maio 2020PositivosVery nice welcome, helpful operator who always has good tips in store, great surroundingsNegativosAt the weekend, a number of other day visitors found it nice here.Rarely felt so comfortableCute little campsite. We felt completely at home. Everything is clean and in good condition, the owner is a very nice and helpful woman. You can hike in the countryside, go to the lake, the amusement park and the petting zoo. There are two restaurants in the immediate vicinity and you can go shopping... in the nearby town... At the end of our short stay, we realized that we hadn't been able to go fossil digging (the real reason for our trip), which we quickly made up for on the way back.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Wiebke M.agosto 2018PositivosRight on the lake, miniature village next door great for (small) children, pizza on the square deliciousNegativosno shopping facilities on the square, tourist pitches seem a bit desolateok for a weekendThe pitches for tourists are along a strip on the long side of the square. Ours was gravel and quite sloping. There were grass pitches further back, which I always find much more pleasant, especially for our three-year-old daughter. There are lots of trees on the long side, otherwise there was no greenery... - it made it look rather unloving. The permanent campers have really "built themselves in", including the front garden with lots of decorations and lighting, hedges, some motion detectors for the outdoor lighting... I think it's a shame when campers set themselves apart like that and the site management allows it. We received a very friendly welcome from the lady at the campsite. There is an Italian restaurant right on the site, the service is very nice and our pizzas were very tasty and huge, so the price is also ok. There is no bread roll service and no possibility to buy anything on site. You can walk into the town, which takes about 15 minutes. We were there because it was so warm and we also wanted to swim in the lake: it went very well, even with our little one, because it goes in very shallow. There is a very large sunbathing lawn with lots of trees as well as sunbathing areas, and the lake is very beautiful overall. There is a kiosk with seating above the sunbathing lawn, which unfortunately wasn't open when we were there. There is also a small boat rental, but I didn't take a close look at it. The miniature village next to the campsite, about 150m away, was great for our little one (and us): about 25 faithfully reproduced half-timbered houses, in between small attractions such as a train, mini chain carousel, electric diggers, mini racetrack and small enclosures with animals, some of which could also be stroked (goats, ponies, ostriches, alpacas). The rides cost around 1 euro, you don't have to pay admission - I think that's very fair. There is a small playground on the site with swings and slides, which is not particularly well maintained but better than none. In short: a place for a weekend but not for us for longer. It seems to be designed more for permanent guests.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Roland D.agosto 2018PositivosThe size of the pitch makes it ideal for children!NegativosShopping facilities a bit far away on foot. But no problem with a vehicle.Manageable, clean campsite with a nice atmosphereWe spent 3 days in Schömberg with our nephews and really enjoyed the time swimming and hiking. The food in the campsite restaurant was great, the kids felt completely safe and comfortable. The sanitary facilities were always clean, pleasant people on the site and above all the senior manager was super... nice! Thank you Heidi! The Plettenberg was a delight with its incredible views and the places to stop for refreshments (Plettenberghütte, Ölmühle) were beautifully situated (always with a children's playground, as on the campsite itself).Traduzido automaticamente.
- Reger F.maio 2018Positivosbeautiful locationNegativosnone noteworthyBeautifully situated placeSmall, nice site with a swimming lake and a pizzeria. It is kept simple, the grounds are well-kept and the sanitary building is a little older. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We would love to come back.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Sabrina M.maio 2018Negativosdirty showers, toilets and the kitchen area, as well as the chemical areanice place, but sanitary area not recommendedThe sanitary facilities are not cleaned for several days and look accordingly. - Heiko M.março 2018PositivosGreat area. Delicious restaurant. Great for children (and adults)NegativosHoles in the path should be filled. Water slide in the shower is rusty. Mold on the ceiling of the showers - unclean and moldy.Nice campsite. We received a very friendly welcome. Great area to do something and relax. What we didn't like so much is that something should be done here and there.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Thomas S.fevereiro 2018Positivosgood location, really good dishwasher, very hot waterNegativosImpractical chemical WCnice little placeI stayed at this campsite for three months. I found the operator to be very nice and accommodating. There were no problems at all, not even with the paperwork (not as described by other campers). The pitches at the entrance, where I stood, are slightly sloping, graveled and not parceled out. At the start... of the season, the paths were all reworked and all the holes filled in. As it only snows very little in winter and the site is actually empty, only the entrance area is cleared. For me, that was absolutely sufficient. The campsite is mainly occupied by permanent campers. There is a small road next to the campsite which also serves as a feeder road for the two restaurants (no through traffic). However, the restaurants are always busy and so there is a lot of traffic during opening hours. Speed bumps (humps) would help to calm the traffic here. However, it wasn't too loud for me. The sanitary building is of a reasonable standard and was always clean. Unfortunately, showering is only possible with coins. I really liked the huge dishwashing sink and the very hot water. There are also hotplates available for those who don't want to work in the caravan. The pizzeria next to the campsite is not run by Italians, which you can taste. There are two supermarkets in the village 1km away (an Edeka with a good fresh meat/fresh fish counter), banks, petrol station etc.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Tanja B.junho 2017PositivosGood location, nice and tasty pizzeria, short walk to the lake, small clearly laid out placeNegativosSanitary building in need of renovation (especially the small one)Happy Whitsun weekendHad a nice long WE here in Schömberg. Despite the extremely heavy rain at the beginning, the course recovered quickly. The washed-out path was repaired immediately after the storm. The people on the site were super nice. The sanitary building is a bit older but was clean. The surroundings, the lake and the pizzeria are great. It was a shame that the weather was mixed and we couldn't go swimming. But it was still nice. We will definitely be backTraduzido automaticamente.
- Jürgen F.maio 2017Positivosbathing area, pizzeria, excursion possibilitiesNegativospoor cleanliness, overcrowding, price too highUnfortunately overcrowded and uncleanthe cp is strongly characterized by permanent campers.good bathing possibility at the adjacent reservoir, good pizzeria on site.two sanitary buildings at the place, the one at the entrance would be good to use,if more attention was paid to cleanliness(over pentecost was not cleaned, overflowing waste garbage... cans, paper waste and heavy soiling of mirrors and floor)shower unfortunately costs extra.no shopping possibility at the place.anmeldundg unfortunately only very rarely open(approx.2the second sanitary building further back at the campsite is in a poor state of repair and is even worse in terms of cleanliness than the one at the entrance.at the time of our stay there were youth groups in front of the campsite who also used the sanitary facilities on the campsite.the campsite would be nice because of its excursion possibilities and the bathing area, but has considerable cleanliness and construction defects.this means that the campsite has a poor price-performance ratio.Traduzido automaticamente.

- Philipp B.maio 2016PositivosBeautiful location Familiar atmosphereNegativosNo shopping facilities on site.Nice little campsite...... A little away from the village of Schömberg, unfortunately a country road passes in the immediate vicinity. On arrival we were greeted in a friendly manner by an elderly gentleman. Our stay was two nights with the motorhome.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Stefan K.agosto 2015PositivosReservoir, location, lots for children nearbyNegativosThe "forgetfulness" of the operatorsmall, nice placeWere once permanent campers on this site years ago. We left the site because the operator no longer remembered any agreements. Now as tourist campers we unfortunately had to realize that nothing has changed. What a shame, otherwise a lovely site.Traduzido automaticamente.
- John B.julho 2015PositivosNice people at the registration desk Small, clearly laid out site Clean, grass on the pitches Beautiful surroundings, beautiful lake Good pizzeriaNegativosNo continuous opening hours of the reception The barrier can no longer be opened after 10 pmSmall personal place with nice hostsEverything was perfect during the five days, we had a wonderful time. For a family with children like us and for everyone else, the campsite is highly recommended. The campsite has a good price-performance ratio.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Michael H.julho 2015Positivosgood starting point for visiting towns such as Rottweil and SigmaringenNegativosExtremely unfriendly site operator who refuses to issue an invoice; no shade; busy road behind the siteCampsite without shadeThe campsite is located near a small reservoir. The navigation device gives the address as "Beim and not Am Stausee". There is a lunch break between 1 and 3 pm. Unfortunately, reception doesn't open until 5pm. The manager is an old man who has difficulty understanding the names. He writes down the names... in a book without asking for ID. He offered a special rate of €40 per person for the weekend. When we asked for the individual prices, he reduced the price and asked for €28 per person (caravan, car, one person, two nights). He only wanted to issue an invoice for an additional charge. In response to our objection as to whether we might have to pay a second time when we left, he replied that he would remember us. The next day, when we bought shower tokens, he asked us if we were registered on the pitch. He couldn't remember us. It was only when we mentioned our request for an invoice that the penny dropped. The operator is extremely unfriendly and his forgetfulness forced us into a defensive posture because we were suspected of not having paid. The registration and the repeated contact with him made a deterrent impression. Unfortunately, the campsite itself offers no shade. You sit unprotected in the sun because there are no trees. The sanitary facilities are very clean and in good condition. At pitches 10 and 11 there is a small toilet block with toilets for men and women. You can also shower and wash your dishes there. There is a pizzeria opposite the campsite, but it is not recommended. Both the pizza and the salads are inedible. We didn't try the Waldschenke, 200 meters away, which has reasonable prices (main course between €15 and €20). Unfortunately, there is a busy road behind the campsite. Visitors to the two restaurants and the reservoir drive from the parking lots towards the town until late at night.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Theo T.maio 2014Positivosfast at the lake, pizzeria at the entrance in front of the squareNegativosNo large garbage containers, no winter service, it quickly becomes boggy when it rains, ...ok in fine weatherYou have nice neighbors and are usually received in a friendly manner at first, but the boss quickly changes his mind and usually sticks to it. You can't listen to what he says. He doesn't treat everyone the same.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Tanja B.setembro 2013Beautifully situated site next to a bathing lake which is approx. 200 m from the free beach. There is a 3 km circular path around the lake with several places to stop for refreshments. The restaurant "Heiners Lokäle" is integrated into the campsite. We were very well cooked there with Swabian dishes.... Apart from a small playground, there wasn't much on the campsite for the children, but 300 m next door at the Waldschenke restaurant there is mini golf, a Pitpat and a small adventure park. It was very pleasant, because you can't hear any of that on the pitch and you can find some peace and quiet. Another positive aspect is that there is a separate youth campsite with a barbecue area away from the pitches, from which you also hear nothing. The sanitary building is relatively new and was also clean. The small house in the middle of the site is rather functional. The site managers were nice and always gave us good tips such as a hike up the Plettenberg with a great playground and a rustic hut, great views ... We really had some great days on the campsite and in the region. The price was very reasonable and that's why the site gets this good rating from us. It was simple camping without any frills.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Tatjana B.agosto 2013Very nice, cozy and small campsite. You are surrounded by many nice permanent campers and the owners are also friendly. Beautifully maintained pitches and a short walk to the bathing lake, ideal for relaxing. There is an extra youth campsite and you generally have peace and quiet. Unfortunately, there... are only a few attractions nearby. The sanitary facilities were clean. There are 2 pubs almost next to the campsite and you can order fresh bread rolls for the next morning from the owner if you wish.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Lisa B.julho 2013The campsite is very nice and small. There are not so many attractions for small children directly at the campsite, but there is a mini-golf and pit-pat course 100 meters away, which is great fun for all ages. Next door is a miniature village with lots of little "rollercoasters". The owners and permanent... campers at the campsite are very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are clean. There is also the option of ordering bread rolls and eating in a restaurant right next door. It is also very positive that there is an extra youth campsite. The price-performance ratio is very good. The campsite can definitely be recommended.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Gudrun H.julho 2013The campsite is full, with 2 showers for women and 3 for men, but there are about 70 permanent campers and 20-30 free camper pitches. As permanent campers have credibly confirmed to me, one women's shower has been broken for at least 1 year. There is a 2nd very old, simple shower house, but either the... gas is out or something else is faulty. Far too few shower and washing facilities, the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. There is no paper to dry your hands in the toilets and the garbage cans are overflowing. Only unfriendly contact persons by the hour, grumpy, listless managers. If the permanent campers weren't so helpful and friendly, you would be helpless.Traduzido automaticamente.
