- Ute C.August 2016PositivosCP not busy even in high season and therefore quiet.NegativosSanitary. Price/performance ratio is not right for us.Simple campsite.Simple, quiet CP with beautifully situated pitches under old trees. No hedges present. Cones falling from the trees are to be expected. The site was hardly occupied in the main season. Electricity with Schuko plugs, no CEE. There are 2 sanitary buildings. The toilets are in one and the showers and wash... cubicles are in the other. This is of course extremely impractical. The sanitary facilities are very basic and in my opinion in need of renovation, especially in terms of value for money. There are no toilet seats, but there are molded ceramic toilet seats. There is no hook for bags in the showers. There is only one ring for a towel or clothes. No toilet paper, soap or hand dryer. The lady at reception was very friendly and also speaks German and English. Baguettes are also available on site. However, it is 4 km to the beach. In the evening some background noise from the animation of the neighboring CP, but not really serious. A place with potential, unfortunately it looks a bit outdated.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Dirk W.July 2015Positivosvery quiet + relaxing lots of space very nice, familiar management excellent price/performance ratioNegativosonly bread, ice cream, drinks for sale on siteQuiet, spacious place, ideal for relaxationA wonderful, very quiet and well-run site with a family atmosphere. Very spacious (!), non-parceled pitches with plenty of space and shade. The sanitary facilities are simple, but perfectly adequate and very clean. The management (a brother and sister) are very friendly and helpful in all matters and... also speak German. The transport connections are good. (Supermarket: 10 minutes by car, downtown La Tremblade 15 minutes by car, beach: 15 minutes by car, by bike 35). Therefore, the lack of shopping facilities on site is easy to cope with (bread, baguettes, ice cream and drinks are available) W-lan at the reception building. The ideal place to relax and unwind without the annoying hustle and bustle of entertainment at a very good price.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Helmut L.June 2013A beautiful, spacious, natural site with old trees (pines, pine trees and oaks), which is lovingly managed. The pitches are grassy and open. There are no hedges. If electricity is needed, it is advisable to bring a long cable. The sanitary facilities are technically in order and are cleaned regularly.... The campsite operator is very concerned about his guests. His sister, who supports him in the high season, does the same. She speaks very good English and German. In high season, bread and other baked goods are available at reception. You can and must live with the noise of the animation from the neighbors. It is quiet from 23:00. There is no entertainment on the campsite itself. There is a playground with various equipment for the little ones. Adults can play boules, volleyball or table tennis. The beach, which is supervised and ideal for children, is easily accessible by bike or, if necessary, on foot. A bike is also recommended for shopping in La Tremblade. Excursion destinations such as the Ile de Oleron (definitely by boat and there by bike), La Rochele (aquarium and old town), Royan (enjoy the coastal path by bike) or Rocheford and of course the oyster farms in the neighborhood (Marennes) are not far away. An ideal place for families and other vacationers who don't need "action" and can also enjoy seeing squirrels, hoopoes and green lizards. If you have a dog or cat, bring them with you. They are welcome.Traduzido automaticamente.
