Camping Du Lac is a small campsite in the mountains above Argelès-Gazost in the south of France. This well-kept campsite is located on a large lake surrounded by mountains. The Pyrenees are an excellent place for hiking through a beautiful …natural landscape. Nearby, cyclists can scale the infamous passes of the Tour de France. The campsite is well maintained and very quiet. The first thing you see when you drive onto the site are the wooden chalets. From here you have a view of the surrounding mountains. You also have a magnificent view from the RV park pitches, which are located a little further up the campsite. You are camping on a hilly campsite that looks like a park because of its clear structure. The grounds are well maintained. The pitches for motorhomes are also spacious and offer plenty of privacy. The campsite is named after the lake that lies opposite it. To get to the water, you only have to cross one main road. You can take beautiful walks here. Swimmers will be disappointed, because you are not allowed to swim in the lake. Fortunately, there are two heated swimming pools at the campsite itself. You can buy the most important food items in the small shop in the reception building. In the high season, you can also order bread, drinks and breakfast here. For larger purchases, Argelès is the best place. There are several larger supermarkets there. You will also find several shops there and you can dine on one of the terraces in the evening.

1) FROM LOURDES : follow Argelès-Gazost. 2) On the N 21 dualcarriageway : take the exit " AGOS VIDALOS/ ARGELES" 3) Then go straight on to the first roundabout of Argelès ( there is a supermarket " Champion" on the …right ). Here follow " Cauterets/ Luz" 4) A second little roundabout : straight on 5) A third roundabout : follow the direction " Arcizans - Avant " and now always follow Arcizans-Avant but via Saint Savin. It is sign posted. WELCOME !
