"Nice green place with small weaknesses in cleanliness... - Very nice, green campsite with very nice pitches on grass, all a bit parceled out. We were there in the low season and the sanitary buildings were only open to a limited extent. That wouldn't have been a problem if they had been properly cleaned...:( We were able to watch the cleaning of an entire wash house by two 18-year-olds: everything was done in 10 minutes (no further comment). The site is beautifully situated in a recreational area with a lovely lake, the staff at reception are very friendly and the wifi is very good. The site also offers plenty of sports facilities (soccer pitch, pool)...

"Great for one night - We always stay here for one night on the way to the Atlantic. The pitches are very large, like everywhere else in France. It's very quiet, so you can sleep really well. The bistro also serves delicious burgers in the evening. You don't need to expect haute cuisine, but it wouldn't be necessary. The showers are totally fine and always clean. There is a swimming lake nearby but we have never been there, but it looks good from a distance.

Just outside Angoulême, between the Charente river and the Grande Prairie lake, the 4-star Bel Air Village Le Plan d'eau campsite welcomes you for a real holiday in the countryside. Our quiet and relaxing campsite welcomes holidaymakers to a beautiful, …wooded area. You will find large pitches for traditional caravans and motorhomes, camper van pitches, mobile homes and tents. To make your stay even more enjoyable, you can take advantage of the many services at our Bel Air Village campsite in the Charente: a snack bar, daily bread and pastries, a grocery store, a laundry and communal barbecues. During the day, you can take part in various activities at our facilities: games room, swimming pool, children's activities, table tennis, city stadium, petanque... In a green and tree-lined setting, you will find many grassy pitches with an area of 100 m², ideal for families with tents and caravans. 4 large pitches are also set up for groups: holiday colonies, mini-camps, groups of friends or large families. Our café and restaurant area is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a cosy moment with family or friends. Our Bel Air Village campsite offers you the convenience of an on-site grocery store where you will find the most important basic necessities to make your stay pleasant. Near our Bel Air Village campsite in the Charente, the large water park of Saint-Yrieix is where you can discover a lot. The 70-hectare site is a recreational area for all ages and profiles. You can swim, fish, walk along the shore, have a family picnic or explore the mountain bike trails. A sailing centre offers taster courses and canoe and paddle rental.
