Price increase by approx. 60% within... 4 years (900€ to 1470€) and the arrangement was shortened more and more, over 3 weeks less and rapidly upwards in price!

As before, more could be invested in cleaning the wash houses and swimming pool. 09/2017 - Large and spacious, typically Dutch recreation park with vacation homes, chalets and pitches. The site is located in the middle of a large wooded... area on the edge of the village of Helden and is well maintained. Although dogs are allowed and there are lots of children on the site, it was relatively quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The reception closes at 16:30, which is perfectly fine, as it is possible to check in with the lifeguard until 20:00 (unfortunately there is no indication of this on the homepage). A reservation in advance is unfortunately only possible from 3 nights. There is a bar, a restaurant and a snack bar, an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, bike rental and a supermarket on the site. The restaurants are okay and reasonably priced by Dutch standards. The indoor pool, which is free for guests, could be a bit warmer. The supermarket was still sufficiently stocked at the end of September. The sanitary facilities could be a bit bigger, with 2 toilets in the men's area there is sometimes a wait even when the site is not fully occupied. A little more energy could also be put into cleaning. There are plenty of opportunities for children to play and the play equipment is in good condition. All in all a nice place.
