Not being familiar with the region, we came to this campsite somewhat by chance, and have not regretted it.
A warm welcome and a very pleasant stay thanks to a dynamic couple of owners, whose first priority is the satisfaction of their guests.
The campsite is on a human scale, family-friendly and very... well placed for a quiet getaway or for hiking and discovering the Rochefort-Samson region.
The snack bar offers a small but high-quality menu, and service is provided with a smile.
As for us, we chose the "bivouac" accommodation, which was a good experience, although at this time of year (April 16 to 23) night-time temperatures are not very high, so if, like us, you choose this type of accommodation at the start of the season, bring an extra blanket or two. Fortunately for us, Mickaël and Lucie kindly lent us two blankets, and when our extension cord proved faulty we were once again helped out by the loan of an extension cord. Thanks again to both of them.
