"Whitsun 2024 - Always happy to explore a part of Cap Corse. The bar, which somehow belongs to the campsite, is very nice. Good food.

"Quiet, beautiful and clean - We felt really comfortable and would come back any time. The operators are also super nice. The pin for the barrier is displayed at reception, so you can arrive late and still get onto the pitch.

"Space has many advantages! - Briefly on the previous writer's comment: Yes, there are two sanitary facilities. The site is minimally occupied at the end of the season and therefore only 1 sanitary facility is still in operation and cleaned. If I then choose the wrong one, I get a rating like this. The site certainly doesn't deserve that! -- La Pietra is conveniently located about 15 km north of Bastia (and therefore free of traffic jams, because 99% want to go south). This makes it the first or last place to stay before/after the ferry crossing. A good starting point for tours to Cap Corse. The site is very well maintained. Large meadow for "short campers" with few trees and a great panorama. Certainly not ideal in summer without shade. The parceled-out pitches are narrow - at least for caravans. They are perfect for campers and the VW Bus world. Great and clean sanitary facilities "1" with a wooden look and background music. Toilet paper and hot water available. Sanitary "2" not cleaned out of season. Shallow pool, which is also suitable for the little ones. Table tennis table available. In September the reception was only partially staffed and the restaurant was closed in the evening. However, there are three restaurants on the beach (approx. 300 m path to the sea) and a mobile pizza van (very tasty!). The playground looks huge on the site plan, but in reality it's just a swing and a slide. Nearest shopping facilities in Sisco, approx. 6-7 km away. Not quite cheap... Paid EUR 45.00 / night for 2E + 2K in September.

"Catastrophic sanitation - When you arrive and see the reception and the restaurant, you think you've found a gem. The surprise comes with the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities: Showers full of leaves, even a garbage bag was spotted, scraps of paper everywhere in the sanitary facilities. Toilets unusable, look like they were cleaned a long time ago. Immediately left in disgust...

"greatbasestationfortheCapCorse - In the off-season with ACSI for €16 overnight stay with all the comforts and good cleanliness, therefore ideal place for exploring the Cap Corse and for the last night (good accessibility of the ferry in nearby Bastia).We were there twice during our tour of Corsica and were very satisfied.

"relatively expensive, but good - For Corsica very good place, 5 stars only possible with optimal space, very suitable for dogs, especially parceled pitches, relatively quiet place, as the pool is closed from about 19.00. Disturbing humming (not permanent) at night probably due to rental refrigerators. Very friendly and helpful staff, knowledge of English available, small store on site, fresh baguettes and sweet pastries, all in all a very recommendable place, especially as a base for exploring Cap Corse and for the ferry in Bastia. There are larger and smaller parceled out pitches as well as a meadow with open pitches (cheaper). We felt very comfortable (3 dogs) and will certainly return to this site on arrival and (or) departure. The population density was acceptable, of course only refers to the period 1st and 2nd week of September. Recommended site - one of the best on the island.
