Perfil

La Vallée Verte is a terraced camp site positioned next to a wooded hillside and set in 30 hectares of grounds. The site can only be accessed along a 1 km track. The site is positioned right by the River …Cèze, one of the tributaries of the de Rhône. La Vallée Verte is the perfect base for discovering the various regions as the camp site is situated at the intersection of the Ardèche, Cévennes, Provence and the Rhône Valley. There are plenty of opportunities for swimming at this oasis of tranquillity, in the site’s own swimming pool or in the River Cèze with its beautiful banks and several pebble beaches right next to the camp site. The River Cèze is a wonderful challenge for anglers. You can really enjoy the outdoor life at La Vallée Verte. The terraced grounds have a really natural feeling. The camping pitches are spaciously appointed (about 100 m²), marked out and surrounded by greenery. There are shaded and sunny pitches. Some of the pitches have breathtaking views! If you prefer more comfort you can rent modern and well maintained accommodation. You can choose between a fully equipped tent, a spacious mobile home or an unpretentious wooden chalet. There is a good restaurant on the site where you can enjoy a delicious summer meal. Ordering a pizza to take away is another option. You can enjoy a drink at the bar or on the terrace. Items including fresh bread daily and newspapers are available at the reception. The camp site provides excellent, spacious toilet facilities, complete with cubicles, washbasins, showers, unlimited hot and cold water, toilets, children’s baths and every imaginable amenity. La Vallée Verte also offers family showers and showers in cubicles with a changing room. The campsite is opened from the 19th of april till the 27th of september.

If you are travelling with a caravan of trailer tent we advise you to drive via Bagnols sur Cèze. By so doing you will avoid the narrow old bridge in La Roque sur Cèze. You can drive to La Vallée …Verte without problems or stress if you use your Sat Nav. The GPS coordinates are: 44° 10' 53.0" N 4° 32' 6.4" E (44.18140 / 4.53512) The last part of your journey is as follows: In Bagnols sur Cèze drive towards Alès on the D6. About 3.5 km along this road turn off to the right towards La Roque sur Cèze and Donnat on the D143. Continue along this road for 1.5 km beyond Donnat. Turn right where the road divides. Continue towards La Roque sur Cèze. You should already have seen the signs to La Vallée Vert. Follow this road until you are past the ‘cactuses’ (about 800 metres). Turn right into the camp site entrance. Welcome!
