- Corinna H.August 2020PositivosClean sanitary facilities, shopping facilities opposite the pitch,Negativosthere is noSuper campsite on the DordongeOur first destination this year was Le Capeyrou campsite. We received a very friendly welcome. We were told that there was a small grocery store, a bakery and a butcher opposite the campsite. There was a food truck on the site itself every evening with a variety of food on offer; pizza, tarte flambée,... beef, chicken.
The pitches are very large and well maintained. We had a view of Beynac Castle from our pitch.
The pool also made a very clean impression.
The sanitary facilities were cleaned twice a day and are clean. What we liked was that there was disinfectant, soap and paper rings for the toilets.
It was only a few minutes from the campsite to a canoe station, from where we booked a canoe trip for the following day. Everything went smoothly.
The campsite is highly recommended, don't forget to book in advance in the high season!Traduzido automaticamente. - Volker T.September 2018PositivosDirectly on the river, great location, very clean and well maintainedNegativosThe location would be even better if there was a direct view of the river instead of the hedgesHighly recommendedBeautifully situated site directly on the Dordogne (separated by a footpath and a hedge). Very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Direct view of the castle. Shopping facilities across the road. Pool on site or swimming in the river. Canoe rental at every corner (worth it!). Road audible, in my opinion not disturbing.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Heinrich M.July 2018PositivosClean, friendly, scenic. Walk into town if you can manage the steep climb.NegativosYou can hear the road if you want to hear it. The road didn't bother usReally great location on the riverVery clean campsite with good sanitary facilities, walking distance to the medieval "town". Friendly welcome, great location. Unfortunately we had to leave after one day as our vacation was coming to an end.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Michael M.June 2015PositivosLocation, owners and there campsite.NegativosNone, except its too far away from Australia2 Aussies on a road tripWe have been to Europe 5 times now and always hire a camper, out of all the campsites we have stayed at, this campsite is in the top 4. The owners are really friendly and helpful, there camp is immaculate. Our pitch was right on the river, we ended up staying 3 nights. The location on the Dordogne river.
- Rosemarie S.June 2013I really liked everything there - and then there were such great shopping opportunities directly opposite the square!Traduzido automaticamente.
- Heike H.September 2012Beautifully situated, well-kept site with German-speaking, very friendly staff. Super location below the castle of Beynac, only separated from the Dordogne by a riverside path. Very clean, state-of-the-art sanitary facilities. Beautiful swimming pool (unheated) with a view of the castle. The pitches... are large and mostly shady. There is a small supermarket directly opposite the entrance to the site, as well as a bakery and butcher. Unfortunately, there is no direct beach/gravel bank on the river due to the steep bank. The campsite was still very busy at the beginning of September, with many short-stay guests.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Bas L.July 2011ANWB Charmecamping: this is also quite true. Really beautifully situated on the Dordogne with a view of the castle of Beynac. Very friendly (NL speaking) owners. Nice pool with sun loungers. Playground equipment for children somewhat limited. The main sanitary building (by the pool) is dated and no separation... between men and women. There is also a new toilet block, near the entrance. From the campsite you can walk straight to the river; the beach is a short (10 min) walk. Supermarket(s), bakery and butcher across the street. The village of Beynac is a 10 minute walk. Here many restaurants, bakery, pharmacy etc. For big shopping you have to go to Sarlat (10 km).Traduzido automaticamente.
