Camping in France with a touch of Spain. That is possible at camping L'Enclave, which is located in a large valley in the eastern Pyrenees, near the Spanish border. You will be camping here in the middle of the high …mountains of the Pyrenees, a fantastic area for long hikes. The elongated campsite extends along the river L'Angust, which flows through the middle of the square. Fortunately, there are no obstacles to access the beautiful, spacious pitches. There are 175 pitches in total, all grassy and shaded by trees. About thirty rental accommodations are spread across the pitches. If you like to camp in peace, try to get a pitch at the back of the campsite. Although the campsite is not a typical family campsite, you will often come across families with children here. In the summer months, various activities are organised for children, ranging from sports competitions to theatre performances and spending the night outdoors. And because the Pyrenees are just around the corner, nature lovers and hikers also visit the campsite. On the other side of the dead-end road that leads to the entrance of the campsite, you will find the swimming pool. The outdoor pool is large and rectangular: ideal for a refreshing dip. During the summer months, occasional water games are organised in the swimming pool. The new water playground is ideal for the youngest children. There is a restaurant next to the swimming pool. After swimming, you can dry yourself on the terrace. In the high season, some dishes, such as pizza or mussels, are the focus of themed evenings.
