"Nice quiet place, beautiful pitches and lake - We were here for a week with a caravan in the last week of June 2024. The site was only about 10% full, which was very pleasant. The pitches are loosely separated by vegetation, but not strictly separated by hedges. They are large enough and completely flat with beautiful green meadows. The campsite consists of 2 parts, the (I assume) older one to the right of the access road and the newer one to the left. We were on the one on the right. There is a sanitary building there, which might reach its limits when fully occupied. On the other part (left) is a newer and larger sanitary building. Everything is clean and tidy. The lake is not too big, but it is sufficient for swimming and morning runs (one lap is about 1.0 km). It is particularly suitable for children because it is flat for a long time at the edge. There are high mountains all around. There are 2 very nice pools on the campsite, one outside and one inside. We often went to the restaurant at the campsite with a view of the lake, which serves pizza, among other things. The town of Veynes is a good walk away, at least 30 minutes, which is a long way in the heat. There is a regular market and supermarkets there. Hiking from the campsite is now rather difficult, we tried it on the mountain opposite. All in all, a very nice place, but of course it was not very busy for us due to the low season. For a 2-week vacation, the immediate surroundings might not offer me enough, apart from Veynes there is nothing within walking distance. The rental properties on the campsite also look good.

"Camping in a scenic location - The campsite is located on a beautiful lake, but dogs are not allowed on it. However, there is a small river right next to it. The operator and his staff are very friendly and helpful and provide lots of information about the surrounding area. The pitches are very different. Fortunately, the pitch intended for us was already occupied by mistake. Despite the large surface area, we would not have been able to set up with our caravan, tent and SUV, as there were trees planted in the middle. As we were traveling in the low season, we were able to choose another suitable pitch. We felt very comfortable. You could always pre-order baked goods the day before, which were all very tasty, especially the grain bread with nuts. After our hikes, we always relaxed in the beautiful pool area. There are also good shopping opportunities in Veynes. It was a great start to our tour of the south of France. We would visit the campsite again at any time.

"Great campsite - We were here by bike and tent for a good week for cycling and hiking. Great campsite. New and well-kept sanitary facilities. Breakfast baguette to order - delivered by bike. The siblings are very committed and answer every question. Great tips for hiking and cycling tours in the area, adapted to the weather and wind direction. You can tell that they know their area very well and are out and about a lot themselves. They offer lots of gpx files for your GPS for hiking, cycling and mountain biking, which are also available on the Sitytrail.com site. The campsite is the first in France to be certified by BirdLive International. There are many different trees for various birds and also nesting boxes for bats on the extensive grounds.

"Great place with friendly staff - The site consists of two parts, the old one with larger and easily accessible pitches, which also have more shade, and the newer one, which is quite sunny but emptier and offers fresh water and waste water to every pitch. The sanitary facilities are cleaned regularly, but you may find yourself without light late in the evening while showering. The leisure facilities are great, the lake is clean and big enough to swim in for longer. The surrounding area is great for biking, jogging or hiking. We will be back!
