In response to my astonishment that I had actually asked to stand next to couple Xx, I was made to feel stupid and told that he could hardly move all the other caravans now.
It has to be said that I never saw Mr. Paulsen (the owner of the campsite), only his two employees.
After 1.5 weeks I was asked by the employee (who I had registered with on arrival) who exactly I was, how long I had been there and how long I would be staying.
But the thing that bothered me the most about this pitch was that the person on the pitch behind me was definitely not allowed to have an awning, otherwise I could no longer open my side window because the tent was only 3 cm away. Fortunately, I had the front pitch, so I could use the space in front of me facing the "through road", but I could only empty my toilet at the back if I had no neighbors.
