We were on our way home from our vacation in Italy and after driving 800 km we had to look for a place to stay overnight. We went to an ACSI site. When we arrived in the pouring rain with a... small child in our arms, we were told that they still had pitches available. Then I unpacked the ACSI card and suddenly we were told that they were full. It was the Whitsun weekend and the operator wanted to make big money from people traveling through without a discount. I then asked if they had any free pitches at the normal price. This was answered in the affirmative. So instead of 20 EUR, we paid 50 EUR for one night and were then allocated a pitch for motorhomes with only 40 cm to the left and right of the vehicle to the next car. The wash houses were old but clean. Next time I'd rather stand in a supermarket parking lot than go to such a rip-off again.
