- Ralf N.September 2023PositivosIt is more of a transit site in the direction of Normandy and I had the impression that they knew that! We had a good pitch close to the sanitary building.NegativosIn my opinion, a toilet should have at least one soap dispenser! No such thing. It was reasonably clean, but I also missed dog waste bags and a few garbage cans on the site. The flocks of birds and cars nearby woke us up.Passage only ...We only had one night, but I would stop somewhere else. The proximity to Amiens is of course good if you have bicycles and want to visit it. And the nearest supermarket is only about 10 minutes by car.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Klemens P.July 2023PositivosSpacious driveway and parking spaces, bread roll service, friendliness,Negativosold plumbing,Good for an overnight stayWe chose this site as a stopover from Brittany. The site itself has potential. Close to the city of Amiens, good for dog owners, small park next door. The reception was friendly, you can help yourself with English here too. The pitch was very large, only had electricity, the water points are on the main... path. The sanitary facilities in the middle and at the end are unfortunately past their best. There are only 2 toilets, 3 urinals (the walls are loose) but countless showers that can be used by both sexes. On arrival, the toilets were unfortunately dirty and there was no soap at the washbasins. The proximity to the street and the sports field opposite is noticeable in the noise level.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Burkhard M.August 2022PositivosCentral location, city center of Amiens easily accessible by bike.NegativosNothing really, if you apply French standards, which are different from those in GermanyGood place for sightseeingPleasant campsite near the Somme. Bread roll and baguette service available. Small bar on site with some drinks but only small snacks (no meals) on the menu.
We were able to communicate well in English.
We visited Amiens by bike (very interesting cathedral) and went on a short bike tour along the Somme on well-maintained paths.
Sanitary facilities are like those often found in France. Cleanliness was good.Traduzido automaticamente. - Ralf B.July 2022PositivosThe friendly welcome, beautiful, spacious pitches to explore Amiens very quickly by bikeNegativosThe cleanliness of the sanitary facilities leaves a lot to be desired.Transit campsite to visit AmiensThe campsite is only 4.5 km from the center of Amiens and is very easy to reach by bike along the Somme.
The reception is very friendly, bread service on order. Very tasty baguettes/rolls.
Now we were there on a weekend, and had the impression that the sanitary facilities are not cleaned regularly.
Since... it was vacation time, the place was well visited. (Full)
From here you can explore Amiens very well, we would not spend our vacation here, it is more of a transit place.Traduzido automaticamente. - Corina H.September 2018PositivosProximity to the city and highwayNegativosNoisy, relatively expensive. WLAN expensive and very slow from CP centerClose to the highway and the city of AmiensFree choice of pitches, spacious pitches, wash house not in good condition, traffic noise around the clock and sometimes booming music from cars at nightTraduzido automaticamente.
- Karin W.August 2018PositivosGood location, loungeNegativosNoneBeautiful green spaceBeautiful, friendly site, clean sanitary facilities, in a green area and yet conveniently located. Amiens is worth more than a stopover and can be reached by bike in 15 minutes on a very beautiful path. The lounge with wifi and TV is also commendable.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Heike K.July 2018WellOn our way to Normandy, we looked for accommodation here. Although there were plenty of free pitches, we were given what was supposed to be the last pitch in front of the reception on the road. We weren't allowed to shower BUT we were allowed to use toilet paper... Not very businesslike!Traduzido automaticamente.
- Carsten L.July 2017Too expensiveI visited the site on 28.07.2017 as part of my tour of France. The pitch is clearly laid out and looks a little careless. There is no separate pitch for tents and the ground is therefore a little harder, which sometimes caused problems with the pegs. The staff are reserved but helpful. The boss is a... bit unenthusiastic when you ring him at 7 in the morning because you want to return the CEE adapter. The price of €14 for a tent, one person and one night is a challenge. €5 is added for electricity. WLAN also only for an extra charge. Otherwise ok as a set-up point if you can live with the price.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Caren S.August 2016Positivosclose to the cityNegativosexpensive, very basic facilities, moderately clean, noisybasic facilities, noisy at night, very expensiveWe were here with 4 people (2 adults, 2 teenagers), a car and a large family tent. We paid 42 euros for one night - by far the most expensive of the 8 pitches we visited in Normandy / Bretange. And far too expensive for what it offers: basic facilities, no special extras, moderately clean sanitary facilities.... And very noisy due to the nearby road. The pitches are reasonably level, but if you need electricity, you'll soon have problems with a 20 m cable. The facilities are simple: there is a standard playground for small children, a lounge with 6 armchairs - there is also WLAN here, otherwise not on the pitch and a sanitary block with washing-up facilities. The cleanliness was moderate. In the entrance building there were only 2 toilets for men and women - no washbasins or showers. Here you have to go to the sanitary block - not heated. The bar was not open and not staffed, looked as if it was no longer in use and was not accessible. You could order bread rolls, nothing else. Shopping facilities not within walking distance, nor a restaurant or snack bar. I cannot recommend this place, at least not for this price.Traduzido automaticamente.
- wilhelm v.August 2016PositivosVery quiet despite being close to the cityNegativosSanitary facilities somewhat outdated, but cleanalso worth a longer stayCP in park-like grounds on the outskirts of the city, the city center of Amiens can be reached by bike in about 15 minutes, cycle path along the Somme. Also well suited as a starting point for a bike tour towards Peronne; large pitches without direct boundaries, mostly arranged in a circle; sanitary... facilities not the newest, but top in order and also absolutely clean. located near the highway, which can also be heard depending on the weather, yet absolutely quiet place; bread service. small restaurant, which is not open daily; frequent change of guests, as the place is mainly used as a transit station; Amiens is also worth a longer stay, we were 4 nights on the pitch and felt very comfortable. The campsite is closed at night with roller shutters, don't forget the code number.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Elvire T.May 2016PositivosVery friendly staff, beautiful location.NegativosI found the sanitary facilities to be terrible. It's better not to stand on the grass when it rains, it gets very boggyNice campsite with flawsUnfortunately it only rained on the 2 days we were there so we didn't see much of the campsite. The sanitary facilities are in need of renovation and were not clean.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Ii B.August 2015As a stopover for a city tour, it's enoughSimple but uncomplicated place; bus connection to the city center; swimming pool and great playground opposite; sanitary facilities (WC and showers) partly defective;Traduzido automaticamente.
- Uwe-Jens J.July 2015PositivosVery good connections in all directions, cycle path to the Somme idealNegativosMen's WC partly defective or dirtyNice place in a park not only for travelers passing throughNice campsite in a quiet park. Reception is very nice and the men's sanitary facilities are not as they should be, but the showers are ok. Only 5 KM to the city - by bus, bike or car. We also liked the evening closing times, which meant that the site was quiet. The motorhomes also stay overnight in front... of the gate. A tip for children and teenagers. - Volker S.July 2015PositivosClose to the city of Amiens and suitable as a staging postNegativosPoor condition of the sanitary facilities, site is locked in the early eveningClose to the city of AmiensIf you want to visit Amiens - a beautiful city, really worth seeing - or need a stopover site, this is the place for you. However, the site has two drawbacks. In the evening you are simply locked in, there is no mercy even for late arrivals. The campsite is locked from the early evening and the reception... is not manned. If you don't get a key at reception, you can't get out to go into town. When we were there in July, the sanitary facilities were in poor condition. However, the site itself offers nice pitches and it is quite quiet for a site close to the city.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Martin W.June 2015PositivosProximity to AmiensNegativosFew WCsGood place for sightseeingLarge pitches, too few toilets for men and only one in working order. Baguette service. Very nice cycle path along the water to Amiens (approx. 10-15 min.).Traduzido automaticamente.
- Markus L.August 2014Very friendly, clean placeYou receive a friendly welcome at this site; attention is paid to cleanliness. Bakery service and a simple but good bistro in the evening.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Renate G.April 2014PositivosBeautifully situated. Friendly reception. Bread rolls can be ordered in advance.NegativosRelatively expensive but weak WiFi (2h= 3€, 4h = 5€) - often free elsewhere Chemical toilet outletWe visited the site in the low season and it was hardly frequented. The reception was very, very friendly, although the reception was already closed (19:00). You just had to ring the bell and were served very nicely, even in German. We were immediately given a city map and information material about... Amiens and were also able to order bread in advance. The sanitary facilities were clean in the morning, it also depends on how you use them. The ventilation could be a bit better. The chemical toilet sink is really not very customer-friendly for people who are at the other sinks, which can be very annoying in high season. The adjacent park is great for cycling.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Werner S.September 2013Nice, parceled CP sanitary facilities at the reception were clean and in order, WoMo parking space in front of the CP, chargeable, flat, asphaltTraduzido automaticamente.
- Peter W.August 2013My route to Normandy took me from Cambria via the country road. Via Bapaume and Albert, you automatically reach the national road that leads around Amiens. This quickly puts you on the right road to the campsite, e.g. for an overnight stop. For us, the campsite has the character of a real transit site.... The road from the north-east is very well developed and we found the site quite quickly, even if you drive past the entrance quite quickly (as happened to us). The reception was very friendly and made a real effort to explain everything in detail. The pitches were spacious and you had a free choice when looking for a pitch. Partly bordered by hedges, partly the power column / water supply more than 25 meters away. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities do not deserve the name. The showers, although getting on in years, are halfway okay. The toilets are in poor condition, although this is often due to the guests themselves. Nevertheless, as a guest you can see that the general cleaning leaves a lot to be desired and probably only refers to mopping the floor. The sinks of the chemical toilets, for example, are right next to the dishwashing sinks / vegetable sinks; not exactly delicious if you wash and clean your salad there. How the ACSI could award 4* here, for example, is not only a mystery to me. If you are traveling with (3) dogs like us, there is a huge park directly opposite the campsite (very well maintained). I can highly recommend this after a few hours. There is both a Garefour and an Intermarche with their 24/24 hour petrol stations near the campsite, so you can at least fill up your tank quite cheaply. Conclusion: Suitable for passing through, but nothing more!Traduzido automaticamente.
- Klaus M.August 2013A rather typical transit site with large and attractive pitches and a friendly welcome. The sanitary facilities are rather basic, not well-kept and not properly maintained, without electricity in the individual washing cubicles and with blocked toilets. This is a shame for such a facility. Due to a lack of other facilities, only suitable for a short stay to visit the cathedral in Amiens, which is really worth seeing.Traduzido automaticamente.
