    Good but electricity price break
Good for a short stay. Price-performance is not right because of
Electricity price trick twice as expensive as average. Too bad.

    Beautiful place in great surroundings
We only knew Kandersteg from the car loading station - but it has such great landscapes for hiking and climbing. We felt very comfortable on the pitch. We were lucky enough to be in the upper part of the site with the camper van, with a view over the whole campsite and a large pitch. The campsite warden Raffael was always helpful and super friendly.

Rendez-Vous, the little pearl in the Bernese Oberland
We know the place mainly in winter for winter sports. This summer was our first time on this small, manageable site. The reception by the Ryter family was very courteous and friendly. The pitch allocation was professional. Despite the high season, we were able to choose 3-4 pitches. There were both shady...

The most beautiful campsite on our trip
On our 3-week camping and hiking tour through the Bernese Oberland, this campsite was our absolute highlight! We will definitely be back.

Cozy place in a great location
We received a very friendly welcome. The place is very quiet and the location in the Kandersteg mountains is great. You are right on the hiking trails and there are excursion destinations in the surrounding area.

    Close to nature and cozy
We had a great stay. The welcome and service were very friendly. The valley station of the cable car to Öschinensee is right next to the campsite. The small kiosk has the essentials and you can order fresh bread every day.

    Ideally located, cozy campsite
Cozy place in an ideal location. Very quiet, the surroundings are fantastic! Ideal for hiking and in winter for cross-country skiing or skiing. Very clean sanitary facilities. Always fresh bread and a small selection of food in the small store. Everything you need is there. For me the most beautiful campsite in the Bernese Oberland!

Stage location on the prologue of the Ape-Alpentour
You don't always have to agree with the previous assessment. By the way: you won't find a bread roll for less than a franc anywhere in Switzerland! The site is beautifully situated and well maintained. Reception was very courteous and friendly. The sanitary facilities were clean and well maintained....

    Mountain camping
The site is terraced, the pitches are not very large, lots of permanent campers. Convenient for hikes, as there is also a cable car to Oeschinensee next door. You pay 1 Swiss franc for showers, bread rolls etc. can be ordered at reception, prices quite high, nothing under 1 Swiss franc, WiFi available,...

very pretty little campsite, the owners are very friendly, the site is magnificent. Many possibilities for walks, climbing sites, etc... either directly or via toll roads or superb cable cars.

A small campsite under the Öschinen cable car and approx. 1 km from Kandersteg. Absolute peace and quiet at night, good hiking opportunities from the site, bread roll service. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are basic and too small when fully occupied, especially when hikers come to use the camp....

This is a very hilly site. With a road which switches back and forward to reach the pitches. Don't try to find way to toilets in night as could have nasty fall. Don't take caravan or campervan to this site unless you are confident at manouvering in tight spaces. Great location for walking in mountains.
