Nice, quiet campsite
The campsite is in a nice location, it is clean and quiet. At the time of our stay 30.5.-1.6.2018 there was no possibility to buy any food or drink, which surprised and disappointed us and we missed it a lot, as we were cycling around the area and in such a hot weather beer or anything else cold would... have come in handy. As it was, we still got on our bikes and went to the local grocery store to get some chilled cans of beer, water and something to eat. The toilets have also had a bit of a run, which we wouldn't have minded, they were clean too, however toilet paper is not in the cubicles but in the hallway and you can wash your hands from the toilet up to 3 doors away where there is no soap available. We did take this with us, but we wouldn't have thought to take it with us every time we needed it, including a towel, plus we would have had to take it into the cubicle with us or put it on the floor, which probably wouldn't have been a good idea. The showers are chargeable, as they tend to be elsewhere. We preferred to forgo these because, as I mentioned, it was the social areas and their concept that put us off. And it was the reasons for the SOCIALS and the ABSENCE OF FACILITIES that disappointed us. According to previous reviews, I was looking forward to this campground, but we left with mixed feelings. But it didn't spoil our nice experience. The caretaker was helpful and you can tell he is trying. Nice jungle gym, playground, ping pong tables, mowed lawn. On the other hand, the messy reception area and the barricaded and perhaps still dusty after the winter garden, where umbrellas and other things were still lying unpacked. At first glance, we thought it was a warehouse of all sorts of things. These things unnecessarily spoil the overall impression. But those who do not have to deal with the social services and bring their own things and will go at a time when there will be an opportunity to sit in the garden, then I believe they will like it here. I can understand the toilets and bathroom facilities costing a lot of money to renovate too. But one sink by the toilet with soap and towels and paper in each cubicle wouldn't hurt.

Clean site in a quiet and good location right on the lake. Very friendly and helpful groundsman - with knowledge of German! Well located for excursions by bike. Sanitary facilities are getting on in years, but clean (despite rainy weather) and acceptable. The restaurant is actually not much more than... a kiosk; however, there is a good restaurant within 10 minutes walking distance in the direction of the village. There are bus-train connections to larger towns from the center of the village. The same demands should not be made in the Czech Republic as for places in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. Although everything was much simpler, we felt very comfortable among all the Czech families. The TREBONSKO region is brilliant for cycling!

Cozy, quiet campsite
Beautiful campsite by the lake, no horrible symmetrical pitch layout like on a chessboard. You can set up wherever there is space. Fantastic pitches right on the lakeshore. Good places for absolute privacy are in the back rows. Electricity is available throughout the site. The site operator and his team... are very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are not the most modern, but still adequate. The town with restaurants and shops is a 5-10 minute walk away. At the campsite itself there is something to eat in between. Drinks and even draught beer are available on site. Fresh pastries are available for breakfast directly on site. Perfect campsite for families with children and people looking for peace and relaxation. If you're looking for party and action, you've definitely come to the wrong place. There is plenty of action in the children's playground between the pedal tractor and sandpit for the little ones. In the evening, the various campfires and charcoal barbecues in front of the caravans and tents spread an appetizing barbecue smell over the whole site.

Hello, what can I say, the campsite is beautifully situated on the lake in unspoiled nature with well laid out children's playgrounds. But that's the only positive thing. The sanitary facilities are not only outdated (e.g. shower curtains) but also dirty and have not been renovated for a long time, e.g.... various slogans and damage in the toilet facilities. The missing toilet paper from a previous review is really the least of the problems. The washing facilities are not equipped with hot water and there is only one hot water basin for washing dishes. The facilities on site, such as the snack bar and restaurant, are no longer active in September. To sum up, if you enjoy simple camping in the countryside and have low expectations of the facilities and maintenance of the sanitary facilities, you can have a great vacation here. P.S.: How you can award four stars here is incomprehensible and misleading to me. LG Socrates

Beautiful, cozy campsite with a very friendly, helpful owner. Quiet location directly on the lake, approx. 1km from the village center. Particularly suitable for families with small children! Nice, centrally located playground available. Direct access to the lake for swimming. Sanitary facilities older... but still ok. Toilet paper is missing. But there is freshly tapped, good beer for about 1Euro - 0.5l!!! If we go to the Czech Republic next year, we will definitely be back!!!
