- Jürgen W.October 2024PositivosGood connection to public transportation, open in October without compromises, finally sitting toilets again. Pizza and snacks + restaurant + supermarket on site Pool area, playground +++ Top view over the city. Dedicated staff, well-kept impression.NegativosAccess path for pedestrians to the bus stop should be extended. Cycling only recommended for the very tough (Italian traffic).Rome and the surrounding area on four days in OctoberA large camping and mobile home site in the shade of huge cedar pines, with the Via Cristofero Colombo running past, which has both advantages and disadvantages,
We didn't have a wake-up service with hymns, although a school trip with several hundred pupils was on site at the same time. Must have been... due to the European Championships at the last commentary.
The pupils enlivened rather than disrupted the experience.
Compliments to the organizers.
The sanitary facilities were ok.
Always hot water, paper and hand-washing soap.Traduzido automaticamente. - Anja B.June 2024PositivosClose to Florence's old town Great restaurant on site Good, free W LanNegativosSmall parking spaces Wash house not optimal Relatively noisy campsiteLarge place with beautiful poolsOur arrival was not ideal. Next to the pitch assigned to us was a gigaliner that was still using part of our pitch, so that we couldn't stand properly despite removing the bike rack. I think the groundsmen should pay attention to something like this.
When we complained, we could have moved to another... pitch, but it was so narrow that we couldn't get out on both sides.
The next day the neighbor left and we were able to move into the pitch properly.
The wash house is equipped with sufficient showers and toilets, but most of the showers lack a shelf for shampoo etc. (torn off). (torn off). There are also only 2 hooks and nothing to put your bag on, for example.
The washbasins are covered in black mosquitoes in the evening, which is really disgusting.
As you can apparently stay on the pitch until midnight, it is always quite restless and noisy.
At 8 a.m. the square is filled with the Italian national anthem, but perhaps only because of the European Championships?
You can reach the old town in 20 minutes by bike. The route along the Arno is very beautiful.Traduzido automaticamente. - Jens H.September 2017PositivosClose to the city and yet quite quiet, pool area, modern, clean sanitary facilities, bus shuttleGreat for visitors to Rome by bus and metro, spacious pool areaPitches are located near the restaurant, supermarket and reception. Sanitary facilities are modern and clean. Ideal as a starting point for a visit to Rome, there is a free shuttle bus service from the campsite to the metro. Travel time to Rome Collosseum approx. 50 minutes. To relax on the CP there is a really spacious pool area incl. a swimming pool.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Ulf D.May 2017Large square with pool areaShaded in the pine forest, competent reception, sufficiently large pitches, small supermarket on site, sanitary facilities very good and very clean, restaurant open and good, road and flight path within earshot, large pool area especially inspiring for children;Traduzido automaticamente.

Service satisfactory.Negativoscamping area sometimes overcrowded, guidance and supervision to pitch could be better. Power connection points are overloaded.Excellent Campsite to visit Rome. Spacious pitches for Camper and tent. When staying longer than 1 week with older children, options at the campground are limited. Limited opportunities for sports. - Carola H.April 2014Negativosloud, unfriendly,NEVER AGAIN!!!! The path to the accommodation: 50 cm wide and muddy. We wanted to go to the Vatican and should get off at the Colloseum (with 2 children) From the campsite to the city by bus and train approx. 50 min. Long waiting times at check-in and check-out, as Italians are given preferential treatment.... No fresh milk in the supermarket (...milk tomorrow) No bedding in the mobile home (but rather dirty Ikea pillows). In the middle of the city highway, etc.....Traduzido automaticamente.
- Erich K.June 2012A great campsite for visiting Rome. There is a bus stop just over 200 m from the campsite. From there you have very good connections to the subway. You can buy tickets at the campsite. The ice cream parlor at the campsite is great. The store could be open a little longer. Otherwise the campsite is very good.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Ma H.May 2012The campsite left us with one impression in particular: it is noisy. As soon as we arrived, we asked another camper if our pitch was noisy as we had a baby with us. He just asked "Do you mean the road or the entertainment?" Then there were the countless groups that rolled past our pitch with their trolleys.... The campsite is actually a huge vacation village, characterized by rental accommodation. Everything was rather uncomfortable. The pool is really great, especially the children's area. The sanitary facilities are also absolutely great! What I didn't like at all was the way to the bus stop. As someone has already criticized, a place of this size, with dozens of guests who take the bus to Rome every day, could pave the way a bit. It really doesn't have to be that you have to walk along the littered roadside. Apart from the fact that it's dangerous, it really doesn't fit in with the image of the place. We will definitely not be coming back.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Piotr F.July 2011There are a limited number of places for your own tents. This is more of a campground for people traveling in pitched tents or bungalows. We spent the night in a bungalow and it was very cool. We spent the last day at the campground (the previous days were spent exploring Rome - connection very good - up to 1 hour to the center) at the pool. The pool very pleasant and safe - maybe a little too noisy.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Jens K.July 2011The square is brilliant for its location and purpose. Approx. 150 m to the bus stop and then change to the subway once, so it takes between 40 and 50 minutes to get to Termini. The site is characterized by many mobile homes, unfortunately the mostly unparceled pitches are scattered between the permanent... campers. The pool is beautifully situated and is always kept clean. What led to our devaluation, however, are the sanitary facilities. Yes, there is a very modern new sanitary building, but it is not within easy reach for everyone and the others unfortunately leave a lot to be desired, not only in terms of facilities but also in terms of cleanliness. One of the things that happened to me was that I still found the same hair in a washbasin after 30 hours. If you don't mind this, you get a very pleasant pitch for a moderate price. There is a grocery store on the pitch that sells all the essentials at medium prices. The reception staff speak English and some also speak German. If we were to plan another visit to Rome, we would definitely include Fabulous on our shortlist again.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Wolfgang S.April 2011In April, we spent a week on this site in a mobile home. This site is the ideal starting point for exploring Rome. The bus stop is in front of the campsite. Although you have to change to the subway again, you can be in the city center in 20 minutes. On a clear day, you can even see the dome of St. Peter's... Basilica from the campsite. The site itself is very spacious with a huge number of mobile homes, so there are relatively few pitches. We were lucky to be close to the pool, restaurant and reception at this time of year. However, we did see someone driving to the shower in their car who had a bungalow in the far corner. You can also buy your bus tickets at reception. The sanitary facilities are fairly new and well maintained. We didn't try the restaurant as we always ate in Rome. Sun loungers and parasols are available at the pool.Traduzido automaticamente.
