- Thomas M.June 2024PositivosClose to the city Everything you need is available Directly on the lakeNegativosCould get crowded in high seasonCampsite close to the city for everyoneI personally liked the friendly and competent staff, clean sanitary facilities and a lack of understanding in bad weather.
The large playground is great for the children and there are restaurants within walking distance.Traduzido automaticamente. - Klaus V.September 2023PositivosVery friendly Campingstuff team that you can rely onNegativosNoneVery good campsite and excellent cooperation with the staffThe camping team and the campsite really impressed me, not only with the facilities, but also with the constructive and prompt help provided in the event of problems (which I won't go into here) that have to do with the campsite.
This campsite deserves a very big thank you for this and this rating should also be a very good recommendation for others.Traduzido automaticamente. - Volker P.August 2023PositivosPeace and quiet, lake, central location, friendly welcome, short-term pitch in HS, 16A electricity, car-freeNegativosall goodA paradise for children, dogs and cyclistsThe site is geared towards families with a great program for the children (outdoor popcorn cinema, circus with children's participation, bouncy castle, ...) and a large playground with table tennis. Especially the already mentioned covered dining area with 2 electric stoves, oven, micro, plancha, next... to 2 barbecues. The central, lively point is the sani building with playground and dining area. Pitches with more peace and quiet in area 283, ideal for us as a couple.
Showers outside rush hour avoid waiting. Direct lakeside location with access to the public beach, extensive parks to the right and left for walking, jogging, dogs. Further small beaches in the direction of Estavayer along the nature reserve. Small store on site (only the essentials) with café; restaurants within walking distance sosolala. Train station / center / supermarket in 10min walk (COOP at the station is open on Sundays), ditto Boulangerie des Cygnes (also hearty: small cheese cakes ... mmmmhhh). Large shopping center at the freeway exit. (incl. DIY store, sports store).
Bike tours from flat (around the lake) up to the Jura. Many highlights as day tours: Creux du Van, Vallee du Joux, Mont d'Or (FR), Gorge d l'Areuse, Chasseron, Grottes de Vallorbe, Gorges de l'Orbe/Saut du Day, Poëta Raisse gorge, Mt. Tendre. Price-sensitive travelers can quickly reach FR via the E23; Intermarche with petrol station just over the border :-). Swimming pool/indoor pool directly at the campsite, thermal baths 20 minutes on foot.Traduzido automaticamente. - Patrick S.July 2023Positivos- Close to the beach - Spacious pitches - Cleanliness - Child friendly - Very friendlyNegativos- We lacked for nothing 😅Great family campsiteWe spent a wonderful weekend here as a large family (4 adults & 5 children).
We wanted for nothing.
We would particularly like to emphasize
- the friendliness of the staff
- It was always tidy and clean
- the location on the lake is brilliant
- there is a lot for kids (entertainment, bouncy castle, playground,... bike rental and much more)
- The outdoor kitchen with sink, oven, microwave & hob is also great.
- Spacious pitches
We will definitely come back here again.Traduzido automaticamente. - Dennis B.June 2022PositivosLocation and cleanlinessNegativos-long weekend in YverdonNice location near the lake and a small beach. 20 minute walk to Yverdon. Good sized pitch and excellent shower/wc facilities. Friendly hosts. Will be coming again!
- Jürgen S.May 2021PositivosWe enjoyed the peace and quiet. Nice bike tours on the lake possible.NegativosNoneVacation with motorhomeWe received a friendly welcome. The sanitary facilities were very clean and were constantly cleaned. The pitch for our camper van was big enough at about 70 square meters. We spent nice, quiet days here.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Roland K.July 2020Positivos- Quiet - Nearby lido - Very friendlyNegativos- relatively narrowRecommendableWe really enjoyed our vacation in Yverdon. The site is beautifully situated on the lake. There is something for the kids, the staff are extremely friendly and the cleanliness was spotless.
The proximity to the (free) lido is also very nice.
The pitch is (typically Swiss) relatively narrow. Our 8.20m... caravan just had enough space on the pitch, the paths are definitely not designed for such caravans.
Thanks to the fact that the towing vehicles have to be parked on an outside parking lot, it is very quiet on the site and the cramped conditions are not so noticeable.
My suggestion: Enlarge the plots, equip them with water and sewage connections and thus compensate for the missing plots with additional income. I would be prepared to pay more for this.Traduzido automaticamente. - Michael J.October 2019Positivos+ Close to the lake and town + Well-kept, clean campsite + Friendliness + Good infrastructureNegativos- The car (for caravans) must be parked outside. (This can also be seen as an advantage - less traffic)Short break in fall 2019We spent the first week of October at the Yverdon Plage campsite. The site is located directly on the lake between the harbor and the lido. A view of the lake from the front row is guaranteed. Yverdon invites you to take a stroll or visit the thermal baths. The surrounding Jura mountains are ideal for... hiking. We received a warm welcome at the reception. The site is very well maintained and the sanitary facilities are very clean. You can choose your pitch in the low season. We would love to come back! Family Jeitziner SisselnTraduzido automaticamente.
- Han V.July 2019PositivosLocation, friendliness, lots to do for children and friendliness.NegativosNoPleasantly surprisedUsed this campground as an overnight campground on our way south. Very nice campground with fairly large sites on a beautiful lake. No Dutchman to be seen but not missed for a night. Plenty of activity for young and old. That evening for the kids free cotton candy spinning, midwinter horn blowers at... the campsite for young and old and you were allowed to try it yourself. Nice, clean sanitary facilities. Walking around about and near the campsite pleasantly surprised us and surprised us that there is no Dutchman to be seen! Camping is beautifully decorated with bushes and flowers and nice places and friendly staff!Traduzido automaticamente.
- Remo Z.June 2019Positivos- Very clean - quiet - friendlyNegativos- Wifi with costs - Outside the campsite many no dog signsRecommendedSpent a long weekend on the site with the family. Can highly recommend it, pleasant pitches, not the biggest but still good. Dogs are welcome on the site but outside the site there are many signs prohibiting dogs (which I can understand when I meet other dog owners !!!!). However, the path to the left around the lake can be walked with dogs and is beautiful.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Heidi M.May 2019PositivosCentral, quiet, clean and well equipped for people.NegativosDogs too expensiveVery nice campingVery friendly and helpful. The site is run with great attention to detail. Limited suitability for dog owners, as there are many prohibition signs. Therefore we find Fr. 4.- per day/dog very much. There is no infrastructure for dogs, they don't need the sanitary facilities and you clean up after them yourself. A dog shower would justify the price. They are also on the pitch and don't bother anyone.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Hugo B.July 2018PositivosQuiet in the evening and very nice reception.NegativosBeach very dirty from the swans . Too bad that the municipality does nothing .July (2018We went on vacation with our two grandchildren who enjoyed it very much. Cinema, make your own cotton candy, bungi jumping etc. Lots of activities for the kids.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Anton F.July 2018PositivosRuige locationNegativosFrom 10 pm the gates to the campsite will be closed with a chain .... What's that supposed to mean then the breeding atmosphere is announced....mAntonBeautiful campingUnfortunately, the evening program is always the same for years not new simply very bad for loyal campersTraduzido automaticamente.
- Markus W.July 2018PositivosFamily and child-friendly, beautiful place and great infrastructure with public and covered cooking and eating facilities. Close to the beach.NegativosUpdate 2018: The prices in the camping store for food are exorbitant! 2017: Plot layout / size and lack of privacy.Small, fine and familiarThe space is manageable and well laid out. The small store offers the essentials for daily needs. The bread roll service is great. It's only a few minutes by bike to the town, where you can shop and eat wonderfully. The short walk to the beach or outdoor pool is great. We particularly like the entertainment... program for families and children. The pitches are not very large and not separated from each other. Depending on the vehicle, tent, etc., this must be taken into account when booking and is better clarified by telephone in advance.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Ra L.August 2017PositivosVery clean, very nice, very central - that's how it should be everywhere!!!NegativosFood too expensive. Car very far from the place.A Juvel in expensive SwitzerlandVery friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and quiet. Everything easy to reach on foot or by bike. Not overcrowded in August.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Patrick S.August 2017PositivosManageable campsite, beautiful location, cool children's entertainment, beautiful sandy beach, lots of excursion options,NegativosPlots too small, car has to be parked far away in a public parking lotBeautiful car-free camping by the lakeBeautifully situated car-free campsite. Ideal starting point for many excursions, hikes and cultural activities. The campsite is separated from the lake by a public gravel path. Was fully booked in August, mainly with family tents (tent castles), the sanitary facilities were sometimes overloaded. Very... friendly and helpful operators, lots of children's entertainment on offer. Unfortunately, the pitches are only indicated by markers lying on the ground, so everyone does what they want and the last one looks where he still has space... The car has to be parked 5 minutes outside the campsite in a public parking lot. The large public sandy beach is very pleasant.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Corinne A.August 2017PositivosFriendly Good value for money (including animation) Clean sanitary facilitiesFriendly, family campingBeautifully maintained campsite. With children's entertainment. - Stefan W.April 2017Positivos"Location directly on the lake, adjacent parks, wonderful view, all conceivable infrastructure within walking distance"Negativos"Heavy vehicles on grassy ground during prolonged periods of rain??, front lake plots are somewhat impaired by public footpath"Great place directly on Lake NeuchâtelExcellently maintained site with great attention to detail. Loose trees and all pitches on flat grass. Satellite reception made difficult by trees, but there is some shade for most pitches during the day. In addition to simple but modern and always clean sanitary facilities, the site has a few "gadgets"... that are not commonplace; raised bed with fresh herbs for free use, covered dining area with open kitchen incl. microwave, hairdryer at every washbasin, inflatable bouncy castle for the little ones at weekends, well-tended hedges and flowers as well as a magnificent view of the largest Swiss lake. Great location in the middle of a huge public park and sports facility with a free sandy beach! Although the pitches are discreetly marked out, their size and the trees mean that there is plenty of space to set up. The campsite is not permanently fenced in and therefore also part of the public space, although the few walkers on Sunday brought a nice change to the camper's everyday life... The old town is just a few minutes' walk away and has a lot of charm. Various street cafés and restaurants or "buvettes" were already open at the beginning of April. The large nature reserves with reeds and waterfowl watching are just a short distance away. You feel like you're in the Camarque! The public spaces in Yverdon-les Bain are exceptionally well maintained. There are flowering trees, shrubs and flower pots everywhere. Public transport by train, bus and boat in the immediate vicinity. Cycling is possible around the lake. Numerous excursion possibilities to the wine-growing villages or the nearby Jura round off the experience whatever the weather. This place is highly recommended by us for couples, single travelers and especially families!Traduzido automaticamente.
- Matthias B.August 2016Beautiful campsiteA very nice campsite, to recommend. The new sanitary facilities are cleaned several times a day, so everything is very clean. There is a family atmosphere on this site, there are lots of children. Next to the campsite is a very nice beach with a gently sloping entrance into the water, which is also suitable for small children. The staff are very friendly and courteous.Traduzido automaticamente.
