- Daniela B.January 2021PositivosModerate pricesNegativosWe had a permanent place then they just claim our dog barks too much and is vicious (even though she plays with lime and everything) she is not but does not engage in any conversationNot recommended for permanent campingYou can't talk to the owner. Gives you no chance to prove the opposite of your claims. It is simply terminated and that's it, even though you have always paid on time and in advanceTraduzido automaticamente.
- Daniel R.August 2020PositivosNice owners. Good food in the adjoining inn. Beautiful natural landscape. Heath next door.NegativosInternet is missing. My 4-day experienceI would now also like to rate the Oertzewinkel campsite.
The site has pitches for caravans, tent pitches, houses (i.e. allotments) for rent
and leased plots for permanent campers.
The surroundings are beautiful and unspoiled, but this also means "no internet" and a poor telephone network.
Just perfect... for a relaxing weekend or more.
We rented two e-bikes for €12 a day and were able to cycle 30km without any problems,
which allowed us to get to know the heathland and the surrounding area.
The tank museum in Munster is also highly recommended.
I would like to mention one negative point: The fishing pond advertised by the campsite management does not contain any trout at all!
Believing this to be the case, I had taken my fishing equipment with me. On site, this turned out to be completely unnecessary and I felt I had been taken for a ride.
Please don't be fooled by the false promises on the internet as the pond contains neither trout nor pike or other tasty fish.
tasty fish. Maybe there is one carp and the rest are rudd or other small fish.
Otherwise the vacation was very relaxing but unfortunately marred by this shortcoming for me.Traduzido automaticamente. - Carsten K.August 2020PositivosQuiet, not overcrowded, beautiful location in the SüdheideNegativosthought long and hard but found nothingRest and relaxationA very nice, small place as an excellent starting point for hiking and cycling tours in the Südheide. Very friendly staff, a small store with regional specialties (that's all you need) and courteous service. The pitches are large enough and beautifully situated. It is not overcrowded, so there is plenty... of space to relax. The small river Örtze, which runs through the site, provides refreshment for dogs and people. The restaurant is not part of the site, but offers very good regional food in the immediate vicinity. The newer sanitary building is sufficiently large, clean and modern. Hot water without a chip or similar: that's how it should be. We will be back, and for several months!Traduzido automaticamente.
- Yvonne G.July 2020PositivosSwimming pond for kids with tree ropes and surfboards, peace and quiet, informalNegativosMhm - I can't find anythingSuper summer vacationWe had a fantastic and relaxing 2 weeks at the campsite - thank you for the wonderful time!
I rarely come back from vacation as relaxed as I did this time.
Lots of nature on and around the site (hiking and cycling with great destinations - in our time in the blooming heath and resinous smelling pine... forests - we were often out and about on the accessible sections of the Heidschnuckenweg - fabulously beautiful, as was the little village of Müden).
The site is a paradise for children and nature lovers!
Swimming in the swimming pond (tree swings and surfboards to have fun on), stream with pedal pool, playgrounds, woods and much more on site.
Lots of free space and only a few restrictions - for children and adults alike, yet lots of peace and quiet and a good atmosphere on the site - rarely experienced in such a great and relaxed way.
Very friendly and open-minded permanent campers, if you stay more than three nights, you will always be greeted and can have a chat here and there, which contributes a lot to the great atmosphere of the site.
Huge pitches.
Bread roll service (with late riser station ;-) )
Very friendly site operators.
Excellent value for money.
Sanitary - one very outdated, one newer - both always clean, here I would also like to mention the very friendly cleaning staff (and also - complaining on a high level - the very short shower intervals, a little more than 10 seconds would be desirable).
The restaurant at the front is a feast for the palate and the service was extremely friendly.
All in all, the campsite offers a successful concept for a relaxing vacation and adventure in nature.Traduzido automaticamente. - Bernd D.June 2020PositivosLarge pitches, cleanliness, nice teamNegativosSometimes the hot water was not always really warm when washing the dishes.Very well-kept placeLarge pitches that were in very good condition. The sanitary facilities were older, but in good order and clean. The site team is very friendly and helpful. It is ideal for dogs. We were given a map with several dog routes marked on it.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Susanne E.June 2020PositivosRestNegativosSanitary facilities, reception and restaurantAll a bit dustyThe place itself is very nice and quiet. The rest, however, has remained in the 70s. The main sanitary facilities are in a dark hole in the basement. In the ladies toilets there is hardly any room to get to the toilet because the cubicle is very small. All the pipes are exposed. In the washrooms, the... showers have been renovated, but with 4 showers it was only enough for 2 doors and the other two have a curtain. The drainage in the showers is so good that you stand in your shower water in the anteroom and this also runs into the entire washroom.
And then there's the restaurant, a station concourse has more atmosphere. I haven't sat in a restaurant with a linoleum floor from the 60s for a long time. The food was okay, the service was a bit haphazard. The salad for my meal only arrived shortly before I was ready. And unfortunately they didn't manage to serve both meals at the same time for 2 people. Conclusion: We won't be back.Traduzido automaticamente. - Andreas K.September 2019Positivos- Very dog friendly - Quiet and hectic-free, very relaxing - Centrally located in the southern heath - Munster and Faßberg very closeNegativosWithout children, we have not found any disadvantages.Quiet place. Ideal for dogsWe stayed at the campsite in September for the first but certainly not the last time with 2 adults and 2 dogs. The site itself is divided into the so-called upper and lower part. The whole site is characterized by seasonal and permanent campers. In contrast to other experiences and campsites, they are... all very nice and friendly. The two parts of the site are separated by the small Örtze river. Certainly ideal for children to play in summer. Our pitch was in the upper part and sensationally large. The pitches are separated by hedges and apple trees. It is also very positive to note that there are drainage options for gray water on two sides of the pitch, so you are very free to set up your camper van and awning. From here, various paths (approx. 20 meters) lead directly out onto the fields and a small forest. A sanitary building is also only a few meters away. The sanitary facilities were always in a very clean and tidy condition. Even when it rained, the floor was always kept clean. The toilet cubicles and showers are spacious. The Cohrs family who run the campsite give a very calm and hectic-free impression. There was always time for a chat, good tips for excursions and information. Everything is very quiet from the moment you arrive. You are given plenty of information about the site, walking routes for the dogs and a packet of food to welcome your furry friends. Overall, the entire site is extremely dog-friendly. We were unable to use the bathing lake, which was also available, due to the temperature. It was already too fresh for us at this time of year. There is a small shop in reception where you can get the essentials at affordable prices. We made use of the bread roll service on offer. There is nothing to say about two normal bread rolls and 2 grain rolls for a total of € 1.50. There is an EDEKA supermarket about 5 km away in Faßberg. There are playgrounds for children, but the target group of 10 - 18 year olds will certainly not necessarily feel addressed in view of the location of the site outside and the existing tranquillity. There are plenty of heathland areas, forests and places of interest within a maximum distance of 15 km. Mr. Cohrs also has a nice hiking guide with interesting tips to borrow. Bicycle tours are also possible without end. During our stay, dogs were allowed to stay free of charge and a kilo of delicious heather potatoes were provided every day. For campers looking for peace and quiet and a friendly environment, this site is an insider tip.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Constanze O.September 2019PositivosVery friendly, very clean sanitary facilities, best showers, great restaurantNegativosFar too far away from home ;)For dog owners and foodiesLarge, well-kept campsite in one of the most beautiful corners of Germany. And with a good restaurant directly opposite. The sanitary facilities are great and really very clean and well maintained. The best showers on the whole vacation. Dogs are just as welcome here as we are. The pitch is nice and big and has electricity and water. There are shady areas and lawns that are very well maintained. Lots of permanent campers.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Tina K.September 2019PositivosPeace, nature, location, supplyNegativosnone foundSuccessful short vacationWe booked at short notice and got a very nicely located pitch. The location is beautiful, dogs are welcome and there are various dog walks. We had caught the "dog weeks" and so the stay was free for our dog. The entire site and the sanitary facilities are very clean. The Oertzewinkel restaurant offers... good food and friendly service. The small store is well stocked and we also got freshly harvested heather potatoes as a bonus per day and guest. We will definitely be back!!!Traduzido automaticamente.
- Julia M.August 2019Positivosbeautiful location in the Lüneburg HeathNegativosvery loud at nightLoud, night's rest is not observedWe stayed there for two nights with our children (1 year and 4 years). The site itself is quite nice. It is located in beautiful surroundings in the Lüneburg Heath, so you can go hiking and do various things in the area. What bothered us, however, was that several canisters of mold remover were stored... in the wash house directly under the changing table. Of course, I don't leave my child unattended in the changing room either, but I find the storage of chemicals in a place where babies and small children spend time more than unfortunate. It was also very noisy on the pitch at night during our stay. A large group of several families had gathered in the square, apparently to celebrate a birthday or something similar. It was loud until late into the night and the night's rest was not respected at all. Loud music was played until three o'clock in the morning, making sleep unthinkable. We would therefore not recommend this place for those seeking peace and quiet or for families with small children.Traduzido automaticamente.Respondido de Camping Zum Oertzewinkel September 5, 2019Hello ,
We are very sorry that you did not get a good night's sleep. However, it may also be that there was a family celebration in the restaurant and therefore no night's rest was observed, in which case we have no direct influence. We personally ensure that our guests get a good night's sleep. I can... reassure you that no chemical agents are or will be used for the mold. They are biological agents from Awiwa and are completely non-toxic. We use these biological, pollutant-free cleaning agents for the entire cleaning process. As disturbances of the peace at night are the exception, we would like to apologize. It would have been great if you had mentioned this in the bill, we would have at least refunded the stay fee, which we would also be happy to offer for a repeat stay. This night, with little sleep, you would get free of charge as a replacement.
Kind regards from OertzewinkelTraduzido automaticamente. - Stefan H.April 2019PositivosQuiet, friendlyNegativosNoneQuietA cozy place with a few permanent campers and mobile home owners. A small corner shop with the most important things and gas sales. Bread rolls can be ordered. The baker even comes at 11:00 on Saturdays. Otherwise Fassberg is approx. 5 km or Munster 10 km away. Small swimming pond with two playgrounds.... There is also an inn on site with German home cooking. The Heide Park, the outlet, the bird park, the Snowdome, the tank museum, the Soltau thermal baths and the Serangetti Park are not far away. You can go horseback riding, cycling, hiking and much more. The sanitary facilities are clean. The maneuvers have slowed down a lot in recent years. Dogs are welcome, there are even extra savings weeks where the dog is free.Traduzido automaticamente.

The pitches are large enough, pleasantly separated from each other, the sanitary facilities are spacious and very clean (even during three days of uninterrupted rain!), the operators are extremely friendly and helpful. We were given very good tips on how to get into town. The store... is perfectly stocked with food, camper supplies, fishing equipment and souvenirs. - Andreas G.March 2017Super serviceWe came by the campsite in search of a new permanent pitch without registering. After a very friendly chat with the manager, we walked through the beautifully designed campsite with a sketch and quickly found our new pitch. It was already lunchtime and we thought we'd write a message to the boss and... get in touch by email/phone, but he was already standing in front of us! We agreed on the conditions and left the site as very satisfied new permanent guests!Traduzido automaticamente.
