- Martin v.June 2024PositivosJefe.quantity. However, the large plots and the private bathrooms are impressive. The location is also excellent. Many things are easy to reach from here and the beach is one of the most beautiful I have seen in the Netherlands.NegativosNoneReally a great placeWe would love to come back.
We really feel at home here and in the surrounding area.Traduzido automaticamente. - Wolfgang W.September 2022PositivosSpacious pitches with their own sanitary facilities (WC, washbasin and shower). Friendly welcome at reception. It's also nice that you can arrive later if you book in advance without having to report to reception.NegativosBread roll service would be nice, but is not absolutely necessary, as a small Spar market covers the daily needs during the season.Nature and tranquillityOne of the best places in North Holland. We would love to come back. We especially liked the proximity to the Zwanenwater nature reserve.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Lars V.July 2021PositivosThe beach is really greatNegativosThere is no market or bread service on the square. The place is okWe booked an XXL pitch with private sanitary facilities. The pitch is nice and big. The sanitary block is old, cramped but ok. But what really bothered us is that you can't choose a pitch yourself in advance. Because we got our pitch 26 BC right next to the playground. The whole day just shouting and... rioting. No idea why they put a couple with a dog in their mid-40s right next to the playground. It's about half an hour's walk through the dunes from our pitch to the beach.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Jürgen S.August 2020PositivosThe size of the pitch and proximity to the North Sea.NegativosNo kiosk on site where you can at least get bread rolls. Private sanitary facilities are getting on in years.Quite ok, unfortunately no more. The location of the site and the pitches are fine. The sanitary facilities are unfortunately getting on in years and a bit unkempt. Unfortunately you have to drive to Callantsoog for bread rolls or similar, as there are no shopping facilities on site.
WLAN is only partially usable and then too expensive.Traduzido automaticamente. - Martina G.July 2019PositivosPeace and quiet, large pitches, privacy, private sanitary facilitiesNegativosA bit far to the beach for vacationers without transportationRecommendableVery quiet campsite with nice large pitches and lots of greenery all around. Most of them are fenced off by hedges. Each pitch has private sanitary facilities. The best way to get to the beach is by bike. Even better with e-bikes. Shopping facilities just under 1km away. Super nice cycle paths in all... directions. Great starting point for trips to Den Helder, the Ijsselmeer or Amsterdam (by train). The ladies at reception are very friendly. The pitch booking shortly before our arrival was extremely uncomplicated and quick. All in all, we had a great time and will definitely be back!Traduzido automaticamente.
- Hans D.April 2019PositivosPeace and lots of space. Wonderful area. Beautiful beach.Negativosnone detectedVery nice spacious placeWonderful peace and quiet. To the beach about 15 min on foot or 5 min by bike. Private sanitary facilities were clean and technically ok. Electricity and water connection directly at the sanitary house. The drain of the water tap can be used for the waste water hose. Very spacious grass pitches. Ideal for dog owners. A supermarket that also has fresh bread rolls on Sundays is in the immediate vicinity. We would love to come back.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Thomas W.April 2019Positivosclean placeNegativostoo loud in the tulip high seasonQuite ok...... nothing moreWe (2 adults / 2 kids (4&5) spent a week (from 13.04.-20.04.19) at the campsite. Staff were hardly ever to be seen on the site. An early arrival (before 2 pm) costs 8 €. The paths to the pitch are well paved and the site is very clean. There are no garbage cans, only large garbage cans for disposal at... the start of the site. There are several small playgrounds, but only for ages 2 to a maximum of 5. The bathroom has heating, but the fans are mounted at shoulder height, have hardly any power and as you sit on a toilet and heat rises, the bathroom is cold. Cobwebs and slight mildew stains cannot be completely avoided in such a private bathroom, but the fact that gray and black water is also disposed of there irritated us. In the high season in the tulip region, farmers work here from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., which results in a constant noise level and sometimes a manure smell. The site itself is very quiet and the pitches are large enough. A small kiosk is missing, at least with short opening hours during the day. There is also no opportunity to buy bread rolls at the associated bungalow park. The sea can be reached in about 30 minutes at a brisk walk. The pictures also reflect the impression from 2019. We had a good time, but will not visit this place again.Traduzido automaticamente.
- andreas g.July 2018PositivosClean.quiet.friendly.NegativosNone.Always happy to return!!!This was a mega nice campsite...very clean and well maintained...the staff is totally nice and helpful.we liked it very much and the dog(a Mastiff)was super accepted here(the Dutch are a bit more relaxed than the Germans)The only thing that would be very easy to criticize is the toilet flushing which... can be quite loud at night. Here you have a lot of peace and quiet and a wonderful vacation.a meal in the beach pavilion De Duinerij is a must...never eaten such good fish.we will be back soon with our motorhome :-)Traduzido automaticamente.
- Jannik R.September 2017PositivosQuiet location directly on the dunes.NegativosExtremely unclean sanitary facilities.Ok for a short vacationWe were there as a couple with two dogs in September 2017. The campsite is in a quiet location and the pitches are spacious. The sanitary blocks are very small, outdated and run down. Some of the tiles are missing and there is mold everywhere.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Daniel S.August 2017PositivosPeace, privacy, power supply, cable TV connection, good cycle paths in the areaNegativosPoor private sanitary facilities, Poor wifi coverage, No washing up area (you have to wash up in the bathroom)Nice place, but more than expandablePitch area more clay/sand than grass in high season. We mainly booked this pitch because of the private sanitary facilities. We are already familiar with this type of sanitary facility from various other campsites, so we can draw comparisons. The private sanitary facilities on Aan Noordzee do not deserve... their name. The cabins are more than small and in dire need of renovation. Not clean on arrival, various tiles have cracks, cracks in the walls, the joints on the floor are pitch black. You have to sit on the toilet at an angle (me 90kg 1.85cm) because the vanity unit is built too close to the toilet. The shower is difficult to adjust, partly hot and cold not properly adjustable. There is no window and no roof hood. This means that the whole bathroom is damp after showering. If you leave the door open in the evening to ventilate, you will soon find all kinds of insects. We found everything: Small spiders, large spiders, very large spiders, millipedes, fat bark beetles, woodlice, etc. This may have something to do with the fact that the site is rather natural, which is of course a good thing. There is no shop on the site, bread rolls are available in the Spar about 500 meters away on another site. This was not a problem for us. Wifi only for an expensive surcharge, utilization more than bad, especially at the usual times, early evening or in bad weather etc.. The beach can be reached in about 10-15 minutes by bike. The sea here is wonderfully clear and clean. The beach is sieved and cleaned daily in the evening by a tractor.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Helmuth H.July 2017Positivosgood location store nearby, approx. 10min walk large parking spaces clean children's playgrounds good service nice clean beachNegativos20 min. walk to the beach WC house small, unclean, in need of renovation too few dog waste garbage cansNice campsite with deficiencies in WLAN and sanitary facilitiesWe stayed at the campsite in July with our dog and teenage daughter because it was advertised as quiet and had its own toilet block on the pitch. The toilet house was unfortunately a bit outdated and would have to be renovated (this happened with the neighboring house during our stay, unfortunately also... at lunchtime). The toilet house was very small and was not as clean as we wanted. There are too few garbage cans for the dogs' waste. The observance of the rest periods is unfortunately not so controlled. We had a large Dutch family as neighbors in the second week who did not put their dogs on a leash (on the pitch), unfortunately not even after being asked to do so. Unfortunately, the quiet times were not strictly enforced either. The way to the beach through the dunes is very nice, but takes at least 20 minutes on foot. The beach itself was clean and tidy. Near the camping park there is a shop and a small play park for small children. We booked WLAN for 20€, unfortunately this was not available in good/even quality. When there was a problem with the shower drain, someone was immediately on hand to fix it.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Frank T.June 2017Positivos- Uncomplicated arrival and departure - quiet outside the high seasonNegativos- our pitch was small and unkempt - Sanitary house with various defects - W-Lan for 15€/week of poor quality - dog dirtYou can make more out of itUnfortunately, we were a bit unlucky with our pitch. It was relatively small and unkempt. The plant borders consisted mainly of stinging nettles. The toilet block was in urgent need of renovation, the flush takes 20 minutes to fill, the toilet seat was inadequately fixed. Lots of dogs on the pitch (we... also had a dog with us), which didn't necessarily run around the area on a lead. The owners do not remove the dog's waste, especially in the entrance area. That doesn't look nice. W-Lan costs extra: e.g. 15€/7days and was only insufficiently strong on our pitch, especially when it was busy. The walk to the beach is much longer than often advertised. All in all, with a little more effort, you could really make something of it here. For us, the bottom line is a bland aftertaste that won't make us come back.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Thomas K.September 2016PositivosQuiet location spacious plots Clean and well-kept grounds. Clean sanitary facilitiesNegativosSanitary facilities a bit outdated and cramped.Quiet campsite with large pitchesThe campsite has a well-kept site with spacious, sometimes very large, pitches. The site has paved main access roads and is nicely designed. Each pitch has its own sanitary facilities, which are located in small houses with two separate units. The sanitary facilities are clean, but a little dated. It... can be a bit cramped for larger people. You also have to be careful when showering, otherwise everything is under water. Hot water is not a problem, and the sanitary unit can also be heated using radiant heaters. The sanitary facilities are clean, but you have to clean them yourself during your stay, so make sure you have the right equipment. Dogs are allowed on the site, but this had no negative impact on us here. Cars must be parked in the parking spaces along the access roads. There are no restaurants or shops on the site itself, but these are about 700m away. The sea and beach are approx. 1400m away on foot through a dune landscape. The campsite is very quiet overall. The traffic road running past the campsite did not bother us. There is no entertainment, etc. There is a small playground for children. The reception was friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable and had a wonderful rest.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Roland S.June 2016PositivosEverything clean, large pitches, also great for dog ownersNegativoswe have not detected anyA top campsite with private sanitary buildingWe have already been to this place twice in 2016, at Easter for 10 days and now in summer for three weeks, we felt very well looked after and everything we needed for our dog was there, the surroundings invite you to go on excursions and hours of walks on the beach were just great, we also have a lot of praise for the operators because they try very hard to keep everything super clean.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Daniel v.May 2016Positivos-quiet location -very dog friendly -very well maintained-Absolute dream placeThis year was the third time in the last two years that we've been there and we're going back to this campsite at the end of August. For my part, I can only say that the site is very quiet, even though it is surrounded by farmland. It is an absolute dream for camping with dogs. There are lots of dogs... on the site and it is absolutely relaxed. On the paths all dogs are on a lead, at the caravan it more or less doesn't matter as long as the dogs listen and don't bother anyone. The individual pitches are very large and well separated from each other by bushes and trees. The private sanitary facilities right next to the vehicle are very well maintained and were completely clean every time, as was the whole site. My wife and I are both just 30 and we are on this campsite to relax and no matter whether in the high or low season, you have your peace!!! An absolute dream place in our eyes. The path through the dunes to the beach is also amazing for dog owners who like to go for long walks. Once through the dunes, you can almost always keep your dog on a lead on the beach, as it gets very lost and there are always stretches where there are no people. The two restaurants located on the beach are very tasty and the beer selection leaves nothing to be desired, but you also pay a hefty price. That said, the nearby snack bar is also very tasty and the adjoining restaurant is highly recommendedTraduzido automaticamente.
- Birgit G.April 2016PositivosQuiet location, ideal for trips to Amsterdam, Keukenhof and AlkmarA great placeThe pitches are very large and spacious. The fact that there are dog owners who don't clean up after their four-legged friends is not the fault of the operators. The private sanitary block is a great thing. It was handed over clean and tidy. The reservation formalities went smoothly. Although you have to get the bread rolls a little further away, it's easy given the condition of the Dutch cycle paths.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Christian V.August 2014Simple but beautifulThe campsite offers beautiful pitches including private sanitary facilities. If you value peace and quiet and like to get your bread rolls by bike in the morning, this is the place for you. We liked it, even if the campsite has nothing else to offer. There are lots of small children's playgrounds on... the site, but we were mainly out and about on the beach... The path to the beach runs through the dunes, beautiful, but also quite long: approx. 25 minutes.... But we'll be back!!!Traduzido automaticamente.
- Petra W.July 2014PositivosPeace and quiet, spacious and beautiful pitches, private sanitary facilities, dog paradiseSuper nice placeWe are absolutely delighted with the site. The pitches are very spacious and ideal with their own sanitary block. We were there for two weeks, the first week being outside the vacation period. It was heavenly quiet and everything was very clean and well-kept. In the second week it got busier (vacations... in Holland and NRW) but it was still very pleasant. The site managers are very nice and helpful and take care if something is not right. It's a bit of a walk to the beach but it's a lovely path through a beautiful dune landscape. For us, this was our daily dog walk, combined with our visit to the beach (super nice for dog and owner). We have absolutely nothing to complain about. Almost everyone had at least one dog with them and yet everything was clean (for us it is a matter of course to clean up our dog's mess - for the other vacationers there it was probably the same). There is a supermarket on the neighboring square (approx. 10 minutes' walk away) and fresh baked goods every day. In Callantsoog (approx. 10 minutes by car) there is a nice large supermarket where you can shop quite cheaply. The surrounding area is also worth seeing and everything can be reached by car in a very short time (Den Helder, Alkmaar, the island of Texel...). We have rarely relaxed so well on a vacation!Traduzido automaticamente.
- Thorsten L.April 2014PositivosPrivate bathroom, quiet location, right next to the tulip fields. Great for bike tours and the beachNegativosDogs allowed, no store, to the bakery you have to go to the next campsite, about 500 meters away.Very nice campsite with private bathroom. Large pitches, very quiet and clean. There is even a cable connection on site. The only downside is the dogs, these are allowed and so it is a "dog site". But it was no problem, it was still clean and quiet.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Uwe + Petra T.October 2013Brilliant place, with super friendly people, we were there at the end of October and slept for 10 hours every day. Totally quiet, only the migratory birds were riotous.Traduzido automaticamente.
