- André H.June 2024PositivosFriendly operators and staff, showers included, beach (without dog), bread serviceNegativosHeavily rooted paths, no garbage cans on the entire site, higher compensation required for straightening, hardly any TV reception, no WiFi, no beach area for four-legged friendsNeed for improvementWe received a friendly welcome from the staff. They are always eager to find a solution to any problem. Unfortunately, the paths to the rear pitches are very overgrown and hardly any pitches are halfway straight. The biggest shortcoming is that there is not a single garbage can on the entire site. Otherwise, this site is perfect for relaxing, not so much for families who want action.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Mario E.September 2023PositivosQuiet place in the forest by the lake Very friendly staffNegativosevery now and then you can hear the train (during the day)Very nice placeA beautiful place in the forest, on the white lake.
Very friendly staff.
Just enjoy the peace and quiet.
The campsite has a train stop about 200m away.Traduzido automaticamente. - Kristof L.May 2023Positivosbeautifully situated and friendly site management.NegativosI can't think of anything right nowUncomplicated, clean and friendlyThe campsite is located in a small wood, so there is plenty of shade even when the sun is strong. A beautiful lake invites you to linger or go for a swim. There are great play facilities for the kids and the adults don't miss out either. The sanitary facilities are great and we otherwise felt very comfortable.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Kerstin H.May 2022Positivos-A really great area -Maximum peace and quiet -Pure relaxationNegativos-shower can be be signposted at the the entrance door -when showering would be nice, to see how much time you has 😁Short vacationA really great area. Maximum peace and quiet and, above all, the caretaker family is very helpful and super friendly. We would love to come back soon.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Ulrike V.September 2021PositivosMega quiet, natural, very nice employees of the Haveltouristik Truppe, clean sanitary facilities and bread service, electricity on site or nearby.NegativosApart from nature, there is hardly anything to do in the surrounding area, i.e. there is hardly anything other than food. Fresh water is not available at every pitch.Maximum peace and quiet under pine treesIt is a special kind of campsite. Anyone who thinks that everything here is in orderly plots is mistaken. The pitches are somehow separated by the large number of pine trees. Which wasn't a problem for us at all. On the contrary. It is so natural. You also have to expect unevenness. But there are also... places where it's relatively flat, and there aren't so many pine trees there either.
Showers have to be topped up with coins, 1€ equals 3 minutes.
The only drawback for us was the weather.
It was cold and it often rained. Nevertheless, it was comfortable on the pitch.
The staff were more than courteous, helpful and always available.Traduzido automaticamente. - Nina L.July 2020PositivosNatural pitches, Small kiosk at reception with drinks and essentialsNegativosSome of the pitches are very dark due to the pine forest, Very steep driveway to the campsite, The bathing lake is public and can only be reached from the campsite via steps or footpaths, WLAN undergroundPure nature camping but no 4 starsWe booked the campsite through Haveltourist and had to pay the full price in advance. Now we know why, because otherwise many guests would have left earlier. The campsite advertises with 4 stars in the camping catalog. It is a mystery to me who awarded these stars.
The picture shows the lake and it looks... as if it is directly adjacent to the campsite. But this is not the case. It is located on a hill in the pine forest. The lake is public and there is a beach restaurant in front of the lake with a nice view. The food was okay but nothing special. At least the chips and salad and the farmer's breakfast were tasty. In the evening there was live music and a barbecue evening. However, the restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Now to the campsite:
The upper sanitary facilities near the reception could do with new shower heads. Some are very calcified and simply chipped. In addition, some showers do not work despite the shower token. One shower for 90 cents. In the lower sanitary area it looks a little better, showers here 6 minutes for 90 cents. The site itself does not look well maintained. The wash houses could be renovated, as could the washing-up stations and the lettering on the pitches is also worn and almost illegible.
The crowning glory is the operator of the site. Check-in was from 3pm. He arrived at 15:05 with a cigarette in his mouth, stumbled into his reception and talked to his long-nose garbage can to see if he had had anything to drink.
It took him 15 minutes to "check in" one guest and the queue got longer and longer. We had paid for everything and already had the Haveltourist pitch number but it still took forever.
We had originally booked 5 nights but left after only 2 nights. Not at all customer-oriented and recently there was a trainee at reception in high season who was simply left alone.Traduzido automaticamente. - Andreas M.August 2019Positivosnice groundsman, lots of nature, lake nearby, dogs allowed, clean place, shower, toilets clean, washing machine and dryer availableNegativosno dog beachTop place super groundskeeperWe have been coming here for many years and have never been disappointed. The washrooms are clean and well maintained. Dogs are allowed, there are daily fresh rolls, newspaper and some drinks and snacks on site, the rest you can get very well on foot from the city. The groundsman is great.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Jenny S.July 2019Short vacationWe had a nice relaxing vacation. Were there with the tent, you can not complain about lack of space. You could easily park your car next to it, even if you arrive with a caravan. The site was clean and tidy, as were the sanitary facilities. Friendly groundsman. And the most important thing it is pleasantly quiet, 2 min to the beach. The restaurant has normal prices, not overpriced.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Rico B.August 2018PositivosLake, nature, small over visible CPNegativosSteep driveway, hardly any telephone reception, WLan available but overloadedRelaxation and bathing fun guaranteedThis was our second time at this campsite. We always received a warm and friendly welcome. The groundsman is one of a kind. The lake is directly accessible and the shallow sandy beach makes it perfect for small children. Swimming is best early in the morning and in the evening. The beach restaurant is... good value for money and the food is delicious. There are also regular events. There are also plenty of excursion destinations in the surrounding area. The forest ropes course in Quassow is highly recommended. We would love to come back.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Jana I.May 2018Positivos+ the location + the lake + the peopleNegativos+ nothing foundHighly recommendedWe received a very friendly welcome. The groundsman immediately addressed us by name and was friendly and courteous. We were given our preferred pitch. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The sanitary facilities are a bit older, but were always clean and tidy. Completely in order. The location of the campsite is fantastic and the lake is very clear and wonderful. We will definitely be back. Our children (3&11) were also delighted.Traduzido automaticamente.
- D. A.July 2016PositivosGood locationNegativosThe groundsman Lack of demarcation of the individual pitches No shower card system despite prior deposit payment No paved pathsFriendliness is sought in vainThe groundsman seems to be at loggerheads with Haveltourist and noticeably takes this out on the guests who have booked through them (apparently other pitches are available than the ones you have booked). The groundskeeper simply takes down the washing line, puts all the clothes on the roof of a car... and puts the full bin bag on top. Is that really necessary? Other guests walk through the rented space 50 cm next to the breakfast table, don't say "good morning" but grunt "there's nowhere to go". The shower tickets, which you book in advance via Haveltourist (and transfer money for), are not available. You have to buy DuschMARKEN again and only get the money for the DuschKARTEN back explicitly on departure.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Thomas K.June 2016PositivosPeace and relaxation Lots of nature Friendly peopleNegativosNoneNature campsite with a high recreational factorNatural campsite in a pine forest on hilly terrain. There is a restaurant below the campsite where you can eat well. About 100m from the campsite is a beautiful bathing lake with several access points and a lido. The pitches are large enough, some of which are terraced or loosely distributed in the forest.... The sanitary facilities are good and are cleaned daily. We were satisfied. However, as with most campsites, there is room for improvement here. You can get fresh bread rolls and various drinks at reception, all other things are conveniently available in nearby Wesenberg. Supply problems are not to be expected, as the local supermarket is even open on Sundays. A railroad line runs close to the campsite. However, there is hardly any traffic there, so this is not a restriction. The rail traffic only takes place during the day and never bothered us. Modern communication is a little problematic. WLAN is available and is sufficient for checking emails, just a little slow. But this can also be a blessing from time to time. The campsite offers countless leisure activities in the immediate vicinity, almost all of which can be easily reached on foot or by bike. You won't get bored so quickly. The people are all very friendly, courteous and helpful. We certainly felt very comfortable during the two weeks of our stay and had a fantastic rest like we haven't had for a long time. Many thanks for that.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Marc F.September 2015PositivosLocation SurroundingsVery nice destinationA very nice campsite in a great location with lots of nature. The view of the lake is limited, but I was lucky and was allowed to find my own pitch! I'll be back in a heartbeat!Traduzido automaticamente.
- Ulrike K.August 2015PositivosRestNegativoshardly any telephone and internet reception no family bathrooms the groundsman Steep stairs to the lake Risk of accidents on the playgroundOnly conditionally recommended with childrenIf you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the right place, but if you are on vacation with children, you have a great lake right in front of your nose, but if the weather does not invite you to swim, then you will look in vain for the children's playhouse and the playground also poses a risk of... injury. The groundsman is also, well, what can I say, if you smell like a cigarette, please don't touch my breakfast rolls with your hand..... The store has certainly seen better days, at least I've rarely seen so much dust on the items. The sanitary facilities are generally clean, but the shower cubicles are very small, especially for showering with children. A family shower or a changing table would be worth an investment for the operators. However, the place leaves me with the impression that families with children are not necessarily the desired clientele.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Alex U.July 2015Positivos- Quiet and beautiful location - good supply possibilities - nice groundsman - sanitary facilities in orderNegativos- Very steep access road (but can be approached from another side if necessary)Quiet and clean place, always polite and helpfulWe had our first good experience on the day of arrival. Due to closed highways because of the heat, our arrival was delayed to 8 pm. We informed Haveltourist of this by telephone. The groundsman came to the site again at 8 pm (low season and hardly occupied). In the first conversation he offered us not... to take the selected pitch (booked via the homepage), because there were much nicer ones in a "better" location that were free during our stay. We were then able to visit the site and choose a really nice pitch. There are many pitches in the densely overgrown area and some in the lighter forest. Unfortunately, this is not clear from the site map on the Internet. The site was nice and quiet during our entire stay. The sanitary facilities are not the newest but are perfectly fine. The cleanliness was also absolutely fine. You only noticed it in the sanitary area after the campsite was full. Perhaps a 2nd cleaning a day would have been appropriate. Shopping facilities are easy to reach by car, bike or on foot (approx. 15 minutes' walk) (2 supermarkets, bakery, butcher's shop, drinks shop). We would visit the place again at any time.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Ste G.August 2014PositivosQuiet, clean, nice peopleVery relaxing vacationI have been visiting this campsite since 2006 and am always happy when I stay there. The peace and quiet on the site is simply wonderful. Once in a while there is also a lot going on. There's a beach festival and a castle festival in the town, but that's announced and fun. The sanitary facilities are... always clean. The people and staff are always friendly and helpful. The pitches are well laid out, level and well maintained. There is a restaurant right next to the site and from there you have a wonderful view of the Weißer See.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Gunnar P.July 2014PositivosGood shopping facilities, great location on the mountain, restaurant on site, crystal clear waterNegativosFishing at the lake unfortunately not permitted Very steep approach, but can be avoided via the exitGreat location, nice groundskeeperWill be back next year! Great relaxing vacation. The sanitary facilities were fine, a train passes by every hour, but it's only during the day and not too bad. The public bathing area is of course quite full when the weather is nice but super clean! Snacks and more are available in the beach restaurant... from 12 noon. Wifi is available at the campsite but not very stable in the area. The groundsman is always approachable and nice, even outside of opening hours, he puts a lot of effort into his campsite. Haveltourist is lucky to have such an employee!Traduzido automaticamente.
- Frank S.June 2014Positivosclean sanitary facilitiesNegativosnoneWill definitely be backAfter having been to Havelberge twice, we went to Weissen See at Whitsun as Havelberge was fully booked. We were very pleasantly surprised. Beautiful beach with very clear water. The groundsman was also very nice and helpful. Our pitch was ideal for us.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Bernd M.August 2013If you want to camp without rose gardens, garden gnomes, hedges and asphalted paths, this is the place for you. There are plenty of parceled-out pitches for caravans and motorhomes, but without the bells and whistles mentioned above. Cleanliness is guaranteed. Friendliness from the groundsman too. Always happy to return.Traduzido automaticamente.
