There was nothing to complain about.Traduzido automaticamente. - Thomas S.April 2024PositivosFriendly staff.NegativosSome. See commentary. Were we there at the wrong time? The ratings are not comprehensible. We chose this place because of the good reviews. The reception area and the friendly staff were good. That was about it. The pitches were not mowed, uneven, unkempt supply and disposal stations. The area is obviously a former permanent camper area. The existing paving was left on some of the new pitches,... making it difficult to pitch an awning. Our pitch had a size of about 65 square meters, which is not exactly generous with a caravan, awning and car. The two wash houses were cleaned daily but there were still smelly floor drains, broken lamps, lots of broken taps, showers that splashed in all directions and I'd rather not talk about the toilet brushes. The sink area is dirty and an experience with the leaking siphons. The disposal station for gray water is currently used for the chemical toilets as the corresponding disposal stations in the wash house do not work. Compliance with the quiet times due to the closed barrier is also rather sporadic, usually the barrier was also open through the night. However, it was generally relatively quiet (apart from deliveries at night). Our conclusion: We were there and didn't expect too much at a price of under €25/day. However, we cannot understand where the ratings of 4.3* and more come from.Traduzido automaticamente.Respondido de Campingpark Ostseestrand April 25, 2024Dear Mr. Thomas S., thank you very much for taking the trouble to write down and note down the many things.
Unfortunately, we don't know which pitch you were on. There are no paved pitches at our motorhome site. As the cleanliness of our sanitary facilities is very important to us, we would have liked... you to inform us about this. Then we would have had the opportunity to turn it off. We think it is a real shame that our campsite does not meet your personal requirements in certain respects. We always want to improve for our guests and are working very hard to do so. We wish you an enjoyable season.Traduzido automaticamente. - Petra S.August 2023PositivosLocation, supply, cleanliness, friendlinessNegativosNoneTop price/performance!Stayed on the motorhome pitch for 13 days and have absolutely nothing to complain about! Owners and staff very friendly, everything clean. Great facilities on site: small store with great baked goods, simple restaurant (Fischer Klause) with totally delicious (regional) food and nice boss/staff. Not far from the natural beach, and a paradise for all Bellas and Bellos, wow!
We had a really good rest here and can only recommend the place.Traduzido automaticamente. - Tanja T.July 2023PositivosThe lady at reception was very nice. There was also a welcome gift. Very nice. Very nice. The sanitary facilities were always clean. There were a lot of people with dogs but that was limited. The place itself was not bad either. It should only be worked on the green maintenance (especially the permanent capmer). When someone left, someone immediately came with their lawnmower from the pitch 👍.Traduzido automaticamente.

- Andreas K.May 2021Positivosduring our travel time in the low season quiet campsite, beach within walking distance (approx. 200m), toilets and showers always in clean modern condition, electricity / water / gray water disposal directly on site, shopping facilities with super delicious fresh bakery rolls and cakesNegativosShower card and key for the sanitary facilities (one key per pitch is allocated on arrival) are not necessarily a disadvantage, but at least take some getting used toBeautifully maintained campsite on the Baltic Sea beach of HohenfeldeWe stayed at the campsite in early June 2021. Overall, we spent a very nice vacation on a well-kept campsite. Because of Corona, wearing a face mask in the sanitary buildings and a corona test every three days was mandatory. Of course, the operator can't do anything about this and considering that we... hadn't traveled for almost a year, we were happy to accept it :-).
The pitch itself has water/electricity/grey water supply/disposal at the pitch, extremely convenient :-)
The pitches are largely flat, partly grass and partly paved for caravans and awnings.
The operators are very helpful and nice (we absolutely cannot confirm the comments of some previous speakers regarding unfriendliness).
In the store attached to the campsite you can buy everything you need immediately as well as very tasty fresh bakery rolls and cakes.
Everything else necessary is Schönberg about 10Km away, or in the shopping center Schwentinental about 30Km. In the restaurant "Fischerklause", located directly at the campsite, you can eat very well at reasonable prices.
Conclusion: A great place with a nice team, we will definitely be back.
Many greetings to the operating team

- Stephan O.July 2019Quiet place on the Baltic SeaWe stayed here for four days in the 2019 high season. We parked our caravan on an asphalted field for the car with grass in the awning - very nice! Water directly at the pitch is also very convenient. We liked the fresh bakery rolls in the campsite store and the proximity to the beach. Of course there... are sites with larger pitches, but we didn't feel cramped. We found it pleasantly quiet and the sanitary facilities were always clean, considering that many of the federal states were on summer vacation and the site was well occupied. We can only recommend this siteTraduzido automaticamente.
- Roy K.July 2019PositivosHmmm...NegativosSee textNot again...Sorry... the second time we were glad when we went home. The first time was in the Harz Mountains with 14 days of continuous rain and night-time temperatures around 4°, no fun when your clothes are all soaked... but this time in Hohenfelde was even tougher... We booked our campsite with pavilion and... car back in November 2018 and were recommended a pitch with approx. 100 square meters. Assuming that the staff there knew what they were recommending, we confirmed this and paid for the pitch. We arrived on 8.7. and were pleased to be at our destination, went to the registration desk and got one between the eyes because we had supposedly parked our car there incorrectly... there was a sign on the wall... "only park here to register" yo... nice if the vacation starts with a scolding I thought. Okay... the groundsman's next question was where our caravan was... We didn't have one because we had booked for a tent etc... if the tent pitch wasn't already occupied then I wouldn't let you on it at all because it's a pitch for caravans where you want to go, was the next announcement... no reaction to my "the pitch was given to us" the whole thing went back and forth a bit until it came out that the booking and pitch allocation was done via the head office in Cologne and not directly via the pitch itself... that explains a lot... if someone who has probably never seen the pitch on site makes the bookings, then it is clear that something must go wrong occasionally... I'm happy to show you our promised 100sqm pitch on the photo... Well, over the next few days there was a lot of stress because the pitch we needed was not even close to the one we had been allocated. It went so far that they wanted to throw us off the pitch and we were already ready to pack, but then didn't do it because they didn't want to pay us back the rest of our money. By the way, the head office also told me that the mails with the exact measurements I had sent could no longer be found... how good that I always save them in my mail program and show them to the groundskeeper. Well... it's over and I don't want to be annoyed any more. I can say about the rest of the site that it is very well maintained, but you have to put up with the machines screeching at 8 in the morning. The sanitary facilities were always clean. Unfortunately, our pitch was right on the access road and the gravel road ... Accordingly loud the whole thing, especially at night when some campers have to go to the toilet by car. Until about 0:30am the gravel road is also used by kids to test the brakes of their bikes... Unfortunately, a conversation with the youngsters in a reasonable tone led to the opposite... Too bad. Also opposite our pitch is the snack restaurant Fischerklause which serves really tasty food to hungry campers at reasonable prices and with great staff. Unfortunately, there is also a disadvantage here... the drinks suppliers etc. mostly come as soon as the barrier to the site opens... so for people who want to sleep a little longer because it's vacation, no way... for me personally the first time I bought Oropax... So that's it... I don't want to write any more now, otherwise there will be no end at all :-) Conclusion: Actually a nice place, but... Added on 12.08.19 The response from the site operator says it all for me... if you would read the text correctly, you would realize that it is not the groundsman but you at the Cologne headquarters who are incompetent... once again... please don't rent out pitches that you don't know... very simple solution ;-)Traduzido automaticamente.Respondido de Campingpark Ostseestrand August 2, 2019Dear Mr. Roy, thank you very much for your feedback. If you have noticed that we have shortcomings, we would be very interested to learn more about them.
It may bother someone if the owner is not on site. You can rest assured that our groundsman is equipped with extensive skills to run the site successfully.
We wish you a pleasant camping seasonTraduzido automaticamente. - Sa M.July 2019Positivos- Very clean sanitary facilities - Great location on the beach - Super excursion possibilities - short distances on the pitchNegativos- far too many (unleashed) dogs - Plots MUCH too narrow (not marked) - Night rest is a matter of opinionPlace itself very niceOur first impression was very, very positive - apart from the really very small pitches and the strange instruction to please stand backwards to the power box. Why and what for? But you stick to it if it's the rule. The awning pitches paved with concrete tiles are great and there is a very clean meadow... everywhere else. The sanitary building is one of the best we've had so far. It was a bit annoying having to carry the sanitary key around all the time (even to wash the dishes!) and an additional shower card. Initially, 5 EUR are loaded onto the shower card. 1 minute costs 20 ct. We (two adults) were on the pitch for two weeks and still had some left over. Children have their own free shower. The location of the campsite is wonderful. You should have a bike with you, then you can get everywhere. The ostrich farm is great to see and Schönberg is also easy to reach by bike. Otherwise just explore the area. Idyllic countryside and great cycle paths. The beach is great. Partly stones, partly sand. Never really crowded, you can always find a spot. The entrance to the sea is just right - not too steep, not too shallow. The operators are also very, very friendly and nice. The store is open every day and you can find at least everything you need. The children's playground is great! There were also lots of children of about the same age playing together every day. Now for the not so positive: The pitches are not marked. Nobody knows where one starts and the other ends. So there were sometimes misjudgements by the neighbors, or "you drove away, now I'll park my car here". Fresh water connections are available for every parking space. Here too, a hose is connected to the nearest connection, regardless of which pitch it belongs to. It is a pitch where dogs are allowed. During our vacation, we had 12-15 dogs of all sizes in the immediate vicinity. Many of them were not on a lead. This supposedly existing leash obligation is ignored and not controlled by the operators. In the evening it should be quiet from 10 pm. As the pitches are so narrow that some of the windows could touch when you open them, you can of course hear a lot/everything. Our conclusion is: We won't be coming back. We may have caught a special time, but the "free-roaming dogs" situation and above all the number of dogs in addition to the experience with the neighbors or the narrow pitches unfortunately spoiled this campsite for us.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Tanja M.July 2019Nice place, close to the water, unfortunately much too narrow! We won't be back!We were only there for the weekend. Luckily we had made a reservation because the site was fully booked. The location is also really good, close to the water (even if it's not a real beach, lots of stones!). During the season, we are actually out and about every weekend and we know a lot of places by... now. Normally we are very frugal, but unfortunately this place didn't leave us with a good impression. First of all, we didn't get the pitch we had reserved, which can happen for organizational reasons, but it's stupid if you choose a pitch beforehand when booking online. At least we could have been made aware of this. The seats are tiny! And we really do have a very small caravan. You are very cramped in there with the other holidaymakers and the floor is really sloping. It's obvious that they've made two pitches out of one so that they can probably "cash in" even more...! At least that's how it seems. Oh well. We've somehow managed to work it out. Having just finished setting everything up, the site manager told us that we had to take everything down again because we were standing in the wrong place! The drawbar should be at the front and we had been told that when we arrived...! (No! Unfortunately this was probably missed....) Permanent campers would have complained! (It's a shame that they only did this when we sat down on the chair for the first time after an hour...) Oh well. We just dismantled and put ourselves in the right place. We had great neighbors, which was good considering how cramped it was. But the site manager was constantly coming to complain about the permanent campers... (The neighbors' dogs would go everywhere, which was totally absurd as they had been snoozing on the pitch all day and were happy to find some shade). Unfortunately, this dragged on and the atmosphere on the site in general is really bad. There are notices on every corner about what should be observed and what is forbidden.... you can't really relax there. Unfortunately, my shower ticket didn't work either. But we didn't get a new one either, because "it works".... No... it doesn't... Oh well. Long story short. We definitely won't be back. What a shame! But the ostrich farm around the corner is definitely worth a visit. :-) Luckily there are other nice campsites. PS: Explanation of the stars: 1 star for the location to the ostrich farm and the water. The second star for the relatively good facilities, small kiosk on site, restaurant on site... 1 star for the cleanliness. Everything was always clean and there was nothing to complain about.Traduzido automaticamente.Respondido de Campingpark Ostseestrand August 2, 2019Dear Mrs. Möller, thank you very much for your very detailed review. We are sorry if you feel that our safety regulations are a nuisance. Since the well-being of our campers, especially the children, is very important to us, you will certainly understand that a drawbar sticking out into the path can... easily be overlooked. It's great that you can get an idea of the atmosphere on our campsite in just 3 days - we think it's a real shame that our campsite doesn't meet your personal requirements in certain respects.

But that could easily be solved.Simply relaxingWe were there for 13 days. We had a pitch with a hedge that was perfect for us. It was probably once a permanent pitch. Next to us, however, was a completely neglected pitch. But you don't have to look there. It was soon to be turned into a tourist site. The site is generally not very flat, but well... maintained. The adjacent Fischerklause restaurant is highly recommended. The price is right here. - Performance ratio. Natural beach with lots of stones and seaweed. Just like the Baltic Sea. Ideal for collecting stones and shells, but if you want hooked sand, you should go to Schönberg beach. About 10 minutes by bike. There is also an ostrich farm nearby.
