- Tom K.July 2024PositivosView of the Moselle (not all pitches) Location (approx. 2km to the city center) Well-kept grounds/sanitary facilitiesNegativosUnkempt surroundings (but the operator can't help that...) Audible street noiseCity campingSpacious (long) pitches along the Moselle. Sanitary always clean and modern. You can hear the road on the other bank (ok for a city campsite). Some pitches without a view of the bank. Entrance/entrance and surroundings: currently somewhat unkempt due to building work. However, everything on the site was very well maintained. We also felt safe.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Harry K.June 2023PositivosThe only good thing is the proximity to the city.NegativosThe pitch is very unkempt. Tall weeds grow all over the edges, along the fence and in the flower beds. No one has tended here for a long time. Thousands of pollen fly around in the morning and get stuck everywhere where it's not needed. The playground is littered with weeds and even thistles grow there. My children wouldn't be allowed to play there. Increased risk of injury for small children. The toilet facilities are insufficiently cleaned. There is no restaurant at all. You don't need to book the Moselle pitches separately because you can't see the Moselle due to the high vegetation. This is only the case for 3 pitches. The whole day you have the sound of the ambulance in your ears because the rescue station is in the immediate vicinity. This is very disturbing and annoying on vacation, but the operators are the only ones who can't help it. The entire staff is very unfriendly to the visitors and should keep in mind that the guests want to spend their vacation on their campsite and pay a lot of money for it. Especially the older man who was supposed to clean the toilets. He refused to let several women use the toilets and was more concerned with searching the garbage for deposit bottles than cleaning. But the really bad thing is 90ct / kilowatt hour of electricity. Hello???rip-off??? The 4 stars have not been given here for a long time. Our feeling was that we were being ripped off and the next people who arrive are already falling for it again. 2 stars are still too much. All in all, this place cannot be recommended. We will definitely not be back.Harry was hereGoodbye without a word!
We have never felt so uncomfortable on vacation!Traduzido automaticamente. - Marion D.June 2023PositivosClose to city of TierNegativosSloppy old campsite Not kept up at toilet block outside . On Thursday, June 8 not cleaned and no paper towels refilled. This because of a day off for Germany.Overall good stay if you want to see city of TrierToo bad it looks so unkempt
With a little more effort and time this campground would look a lot betterTraduzido automaticamente. - Andrea K.April 2023PositivosTrier is very easy to reach on footNegativosVery, very loud Electricity price of 90 cents already quite highFor visiting the city of TrierThe CP is well suited for visiting the city of Trier. The city is easy to reach by bike or on foot. The sanitary facilities are good and very clean.
The pitch with a view of the Moselle is beautiful. However, it would be good if it was mowed.
If you want to spend your vacation here and hope for peace... and quiet, you should not go here. The described noise of the young people with their cars and motorcycles was nothing compared to the noise of the emergency vehicles! We come from Hamburg, but we've never experienced that before!
The whole day siren, not exaggerated!!!Traduzido automaticamente. - Vitali K.August 2022PositivosClose to the city centerNegativosTotally unfriendly staffUnfriendly, arrogant and paranoidAfter a few arguments with the staff who harassed us with rather paranoid accusations, we moved to another campsite outside the city after an overnight stay.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Wilfried B.June 2022Positivos-relatively close to the center. -direct cycle path along the MoselleNegativos-no transport links to the city. -no gastronomy. -long distance to shopping facilities.Treviris Camping ParkCamping is OK. For travelers passing through, or if you want to spend a few days in Trier.
The lack of a direct bus connection to Trier is incomprehensible.
Not everyone can or wants to walk over 1 km or even further to the bus stop,
especially not elderly or disabled people.
Or in the rain.
Or pay for a cab every time.
Greetings from Luxembourg.Traduzido automaticamente. - Maik B.June 2022Positivos- Friendly staff - Sanitary facilities were clean - Seating on the tent meadow - Electricity connection at the tent meadow - Shady pitches due to trees - Beautiful view of the Moselle and Trier - Bread roll service and coffee available at receptionNegativos- low road noise, as the campsite is centrally locatedCamping 👍We camped at the campsite from 13.06.-15.06.2022 at the start of our Moselle cycle tour to Koblenz. We were able to charge our e-bikes directly at the tent.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Peter W.September 2021PositivosProximity to the cityNegativosMessy corners in some parts of the squareIdeal place for a visit to TrierA pleasant place on the Moselle. Generously parceled out. The sanitary facilities are very tidy and clean. The staff are reserved, but businesslike and not cordial. The site is in good condition as far as the individual pitches are concerned. Other corners that have nothing to do with the pitches, but... are visible to everyone, are unfortunately not. There is a background noise from the city, but it is bearable. A bread roll service with freshly baked goods is offered daily. The former restaurant has unfortunately been closed.
Electricity and water are charged extra via small transponder chips. All in all, a good pitch close to the town, but not a place to feel at home.Traduzido automaticamente. - Martin R.September 2020PositivosPitch ok, not far to the centerNegativosunfriendly, showers closed from 1 - 5 pm (!). Electricity and water expensiveunfriendly and unmotivated employeesWe stayed there for 4 nights. The place itself is in a good location, you are quickly in the center of Trier by bike. The access road is narrow. As soon as we checked in we noticed that the staff were not very friendly. The older woman and the younger guy were brash and unmotivated. The pitch was good... and big enough. At 12:45 the cleaner was already there and turned us away because the showers are closed from 13:00 to 17:00 (4 hours!). You can only get into the toilets, showers, washroom and dishwashing room with a chip. The sound when you open the doors is pretty ugly and can be heard for 50 meters every time you open them, all day and of course all night (sleep well....). When we checked out, we got to feel the motivation of the staff... Credit cards were not accepted - that was written down here (rather reproachfully). He almost fell asleep while working - he didn't say a word too much. When asked that it was annoying that the showers were closed for 4 hours (billing in cents), another employee only said that the showers had to dry.... Words fail me.... NEVER AGAIN - they don't seem to need it...Traduzido automaticamente.
- Regina F.August 2020PositivosSanitary facilities good and power connections I. ONegativosUnfriendly staff, facilities partly unclean. No cleaning of the green areas. No restaurant currently on site. You have to walk into town, about 30 min. Why no bike rental?RatingSee disadvantages. We know other campsites that also have catering at Corona times. The first impression, staff not a friendly word such as welcome.....Traduzido automaticamente.
- Wolle W.September 2019PositivosLittleNegativosThe allocated space, despite others being free. Worse than in a parking lot.FriendlinessThe reception makes you feel strange and unwelcome.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Anna v.August 2019PositivosClose to Trier, bathing lake, pizzeriaNegativosBakery arrives late, sanitary facilities in the back really bad,Near Trier, wonderful bathing lakeVery suitable for an overnight stay if you want to visit the city of Trier. Pizzeria on site (ice cream is also available), the bathing lake is wonderful, the view from the site is fantastic. The sanitary facilities at the back are poor and a night-time hike takes a long time if you don't have your own toilet. Friendly welcome, somewhat stubborn people. Bread rolls only at the bakery trolley which arrives quite late.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Nadja R.August 2019PositivosGood connection to the city centerNegativosNot very quiet, due to the location directly on the main road, only the Moselle is in between.Good for getting to know the cityThe campsite is right on the Moselle, only a cycle path separates the campsite from the Moselle. The city center is easily accessible by bike, but it takes a little longer on foot. The sanitary facilities are well equipped and everything is accessible with a chip. You can also shower with the chip, load... money onto it and go. Bread rolls can be ordered until 7pm at the registration desk, also booked on the chip or pitch number, so you have to keep track of everything. The staff take some getting used to, very reserved. It's not a place to stay for long, more for sightseeing or cycling.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Felix B.August 2019PositivosTop locationNegativosNo supermarket on the squareUnique location on the MoselleThe site is very well located, many pitches offer 180 degree views of the Moselle. The cycle paths in the area have nice smooth asphalt and of course there are hardly any differences in altitude directly on the river. However, I prefer to go to Luxembourg for SUP, as the Moselle here is too boring for... me. But that is of course a matter of taste. To explore the city of Trier, this is definitely the best place for campers to stay. With children, the entertainment on the site itself is a bit lacking...Traduzido automaticamente.
- J. W.July 2019PositivosWLan free of charge, close to the cityNegativosSanitary cleaning, consumption costs via chip expensiveGood place for sightseeingA good middle class pitch. 1 sanitary building in the middle with functional facilities without ambience, cleaned daily, unfortunately often very late. Showers for a fee via chip, according to water consumption, no regulation of the shower possible. Bread rolls can be ordered in advance during the season.... Pitches of different sizes in the rear part tents. Then motorhome parking space separated, like a large parking lot but okay for overnight stay. Electricity according to consumption quite expensive at 70 cents / Kw. Moselle cycle path between the square and the Moselle. At the entrance playground and small beer garden (only open in the evening) with bottled beer and simple food. Prices okay. Staff could still practice friendliness. The town center on foot about 25 minutes, by bike 10 minutes.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Anita R.May 2019PositivosGood location, nice and green, restaurant and bread serviceNegativosWater in the shower does not get really hot, amount of water cannot be regulated, playground sand very dirtyBeautiful place directly on the Moselle and the Moselle cycle pathThe site is beautifully situated on the Moselle and also has some pitches with a view of the water. Overall, the site is well-kept and somewhat green. Showers are nice and new but there is a charge. You are charged according to consumption but the amount of water cannot be regulated. With the strong... jet, €1 is quickly used up for a very short shower. Bread rolls (from €0.50) and croissants (from €1.30) can be ordered for the next day. The playground is small & nice but the sand could be cleaned. There is a slide and a seesaw animal but the many excavators and tipper trucks to play with really impressed my son. The center is about 5-10 minutes by bike. The site is ideally located for cycling tours, e.g. to Saarburg.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Marcel M.May 2019PositivosCentral location to TrierNegativosNo friendliness, plots very narrowNice starting point for excursionsOn the way back from Carinthia we spent 4 nights in Trier. The campsite itself is not bad at all. We had a pitch on the Moselle. The pitch was long, but not wide, so even with the awning there was only about 1 meter of space. Cozy. The view of the Moselle was of course wonderful. Unfortunately, the toilets... are only accessible with a chip. When you hold it in front of you, the door buzzes for a while and you can enter. This noise is quite annoying after a while if you have a pitch next to the toilet block. The sanitary block itself was always clean and well maintained, so everything was fine. Unfortunately, the layout is not so good that the showers are in a different area to the washbasins. Both are only accessible from the outside and there is no connection. But it was bearable. Unfortunately, friendliness is a foreign word on this site. Whether groundsman, reception or snack bar. You won't find a smile or friendliness here. Billing was OK, price is OK. Showers unfortunately not included in the price, and cost about € 1.50 per shower, which is charged per water consumption. Electricity is also charged according to consumption (70 cents / kwh). Price / night for 2 adults with caravan and car, without electricity 25,40 €Traduzido automaticamente.
- Peter H.April 2019PositivosTrier good and easy to reach. Restaurant with "beer garden".NegativosSomewhat little grass on the pitch (complaining on a high level).Very good city campsiteI can recommend it as a city campsite. Good location for visiting Trier on foot or by bike. First information is available at the reception, if that's not enough, you can get more in the city. Sanitary facilities were clean although the campsite was almost fully booked. We only had a drink in the restaurant (beer was cold!), nice service. Somewhat little grass on the pitch. We will come back to this campsite for our next visit to Trier.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Susann H.April 2019PositivosView of the Moselle. Clean facility.NegativosSanitary facilities, cooking and cooling facilitiesPlace is passable...The place is quite okay. Cleanliness area in order. Sanitary facilities leave a lot to be desired. Staff not exactly interested. Economy, when empty, OK. Otherwise overwhelmed. Cooking and cooling facilities ... everything moldy. Location and view great.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Klaus F.September 2018PositivosGood proximity to the city of Trier. Bistro on the square offers good food.NegativosSanitaryA pitch with upward potential.City of Trier can be reached on foot in 20 minutes. Sanitary facilities are new but unkempt. (not checked regularly) Toilets stink. Cobwebs in the cabins. Good place with a view of the Moselle. Pitch area partly no longer grassed, therefore muddy when it rains. There is still a lot to do.Traduzido automaticamente.
