- Roy K.July 2021PositivosFriendly groundsman Flexibility with pitchesNegativosThe sanitary facilities should be cleaner, which is not necessarily down to the staff.Good for an overnight stayVery nice groundskeeper.
We were only there for one night when we were passing through, so it was okay. But I don't think it would be a place for us for longer.Traduzido automaticamente. - Marion W.June 2020Positivosis close to the highwayNegativosthe meadow around the lake is dirty due to the geese (bird droppings)Close to the highwayStayed here for one night. Close to the highway, perfect. In the morning the baker came with his trolley with delicious bread rolls.Traduzido automaticamente.

- Giuliano P.July 2019Great base for visiting Hanover and other cities in the regionA very well-maintained campground with shaded sites. Clean and well-maintained facilities. Very quiet, can be used for visiting Hanover and other nearby cities. The station is a 5-minute drive away with excellent free parking. The manager is very helpful.Traduzido automaticamente.Respondido de Campingplatz am Springhorstsee August 10, 2019Thank you, we always try to do this to your satisfactionTraduzido automaticamente.
- Gerrit M.June 2019PositivosClean, close to natureNegativosA bread roll service would be niceA good timeWe had chosen this site for our caravan camping deflowering because we didn't want it to be too far away from home but still in a beautiful natural setting. We never regretted it, Mr. Wedemeier gave us a friendly welcome and we were able to choose a free pitch with him at the short-term campers. The... short-term camper pitches are nicely shaded by tall trees and are located right at the beginning of the site, but still in a quiet location. Many campers only use the site for one night as it is close to the A7 and they come there to spend the night. If you stay a few days longer, like we did, you can have nice camper conversations with Swiss, Finns or Dutch people. The wash house, which is very clean, is only a few meters away and if it is closed for cleaning, there is another wash house just a few meters away. Of course, it's great that you can get directly to the Springhorstsee lake from the pitch and throw yourself into the cool water. Apart from that, there's not a lot going on on the site, and I mean that in a positive way, you can slow down and come back from your vacation nice and relaxed. The proximity to the highway, railroad and airport is great, but it does mean a little more traffic noise, which you soon stop noticing. The site itself has a kiosk on the other side of the lake, where you can get a sausage and a beer during the day. If you want to eat properly, you can go to the adjoining restaurant, which is a bit more upmarket and therefore more expensive. If we didn't feel like having breakfast in the camper, we simply drove to the nearby Ikea and had breakfast there. For our needs a nice and nearby campsite that we will certainly visit again soon!Traduzido automaticamente.
- SM S.June 2019Very nice place to relaxWe were there for the first time in June 2019 with a caravan and immediately felt very comfortable. There are transit pitches for short breaks, which are also used for people passing through, but everything is still quiet. If you stay for a week or longer, you get a pitch. There are sunny and shady tree... pitches, depending on your needs. Many are permanent campers. No youthful groups, which we found pleasant. Lots of sanitary blocks, everything is very clean and well-kept. You can hear traffic in the distance, there is also distant train and air traffic, but the sounds of nature predominate. Bread roll service is not offered on less busy days. Shopping facilities are only available in the neighboring village.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Erika S.June 2019PositivosClose to the highway, suitable for onward travelNegativosbad restaurant, barrier timesBeautiful lakeside locationWe only stayed one night so I can't rate everything. Once again an unopened barrier although no operation we had to waste 1 1/2 hours vacation in front of the barrier. Overnight places right in front, to the beach a bit far. Restaurant was mediocre with very poor staff. The approach to the barrier is more like a backyard with junk and unkempt.Traduzido automaticamente.Respondido de Campingplatz am Springhorstsee June 13, 2019like most other campsites, we have a midday or night-time rest period. almost every camper knows that it is generally not possible to arrive between 13:00 and 15:00.
We can't do anything for the restaurant, as this is a different business.Traduzido automaticamente. - Ingrid T.June 2019PositivosQuiet, possibility to swim in the lake beautiful locationNegativosBread roll service would be niceRecommendableBeautiful campsite right on the lake with old trees, the site and sanitary facilities are clean and well maintained, free use of the groundsman's satellite system possible. The groundsman is very friendly and helpful. Right next to the site is a nice restaurant with a terrace overlooking the lake. We were there at Whitsun and the site was full, but it was still quiet and relaxing. We liked it very much, we will be backTraduzido automaticamente.
- Dirk A.June 2019PositivosCleanliness of the sanitary facilitiesNegativosno shopping facilities (bread rolls,...) on the siteGreat placeWe were there for a long weekend at short notice and were VERY pleasantly surprised. The site is simple but very clean. The festival campers are really very nice there, compared to many other places we have been. We would love to come again. There is a small kiosk where you can meet up for a chat.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Marion S.August 2018PositivosLocation (highway/lake)Gladly againI rented a caravan there for 2 weeks in August and was totally thrilled. The groundsman is super nice and helpful. The lake isn't that crowded, so you could relax and do your laps at any time of day or night. The campsite is relatively small and therefore very informal. I was very pleasantly surprised... by the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities. The price/performance ratio is unbeatable. The nearest shopping facilities (Großburgwedel) are approx. 3 km away. You can be in Hanover in half an hour via the highway. I felt very comfortable there and will certainly go back again.Traduzido automaticamente.

We were able to choose a pitch in the tourist area. W-Lan and satellite TV in the tourist area free of charge. Sanitary a bit older, but clean. The lake is beautiful. CP not far from the highway. From the campsite you can quickly reach the town, the train station and Ikea by bike. Everything about 2 km awayTraduzido automaticamente.
- Renate G.May 2018PositivosLocationNegativosnoneAlso welcome as an overnight guestWe drove to the site for an overnight stay and were pleasantly surprised. The reception was very friendly and courteous, as was the 2nd groundsman, whom we met later, very friendly and thoughtful and forward-thinking. The accommodation section for tourists is right at the entrance. There is also a hotel on the site where weddings are held, but fortunately without any major noise pollution. We will remember this place.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Svenja B.May 2018PositivosProximity to the town, highway and proximity to HanoverEnjoyed a super nice short vacation!Nice idyllic campsite on the lake, nice groundsman, nature camping, walking opportunities, playground equipment for children at every corner, not far to the wash house.Traduzido automaticamente.

Friendly groundsman who helps with everything. Pitch not far from the wash house. old but clean. - Marcus O.September 2017PositivosFriendly staff Sanitary is good and clean Very good restaurant on the siteNegativosnoneBeautiful placeWe stayed here for just one night with our team as we were invited to a wedding in the hotel next door. Very friendly welcome from the groundsman and we were able to choose a nice spot. The sanitary facilities are getting on in years but were very clean. Next door in the hotel/restaurant we were able to enjoy a wonderful celebration with the best food.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Ernstludwig E.July 2017PositivosLocationNegativosnoneWe felt comfortableWe had booked this campsite for 10 days as it was halfway between our home and our destination. We had registered in advance and communicated our wishes. These were all taken into account. Our pitch was between the permanent campers. Unfortunately a bit far from the lake, but in a quiet location. As... we had dogs with us, the gate to the campsite was not far away. The toilets were very clean. The groundsman was very friendly. Bread roll service excellent. However, with a WW longer than 7m you have to be careful to get around the corners. There are pitches in the entrance area for day guests. We will use these when we travel north again to spend the night there.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Ida S.July 2017PositivosQuiet, cheap, clean.NegativosSanitary house outdated.Beautifully situated on the lakeBeautiful campsite right on the lake. Quiet, but lots of horseflies and insects in summer. Reasonably priced, but no store / bread service on site. Sanitary facilities clean but clearly getting on in years. Nearby restaurant good! even vegan offer!Traduzido automaticamente.
- Hans M.July 2017PositivosReasonably priced, quiet, beautifully situatedNegativosSanitary facilities somewhat outdatedSmall and old but niceA cozy campsite surrounded by greenery and right on the lake. If you don't expect miracles in terms of comfort and exclusivity, this is the right place for you. In the sanitary facilities, a (really not big) investment in new toilet seats could work wonders.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Ulrich J.July 2017PositivosIn Burgwedel you are well catered for.NegativosPeace and quiet: sometimes a bit of highway, sometimes the train and the occasional plane, but where is everything perfect? We were satisfied.Friendly reception! Pitch in the rear area perfect! (we were there for more than a week) Sanitary clean. Bathing lake great! You can go there again!Traduzido automaticamente.
- Nicole S.July 2017PositivosConveniently located, clean, beautiful bathing lake, playground, nice groundsman, uncomplicated, WLAN, TOP PRICE/PERFORMANCE!!!!NegativosNoneGreat place with a beautiful swimming lake!We stayed with 2 families (one with caravan, one with tent) for 4 nights at the campsite (July) and had our pitch in the front transit area directly at the entrance/reception. Electricity at the pitch, fresh water at the sanitary facilities right next to it (also dishwashing facilities and washing machine/dryer... here). A short walk takes you directly to the beautiful bathing lake, where our children in particular had a lot of fun (the water trampoline was a HIT!!). The site is very conveniently located close to the A7 (but you can hardly hear it!) and is therefore mainly used as a short overnight stay site. I think this is a shame, as it's a great place to stay for longer! The sanitary facilities were very clean and I have never experienced such a nice groundsman as Mr. Wedemeier :-) Unfortunately there is no store directly on site, but there are plenty of shops (Aldi, Edeka, Ikea etc.) within a few minutes' drive (there is a restaurant which we didn't try out). In addition, there are many beautiful excursion destinations in the immediate vicinity, we were e.g. in the Serengeti Park (about 30 minutes drive) or for shopping in Hanover (also accessible by train!!). Super price/performance!!! Thanks to Mr. Wedemeier for the nice 4 days, we will certainly come back again!!! Greetings from Mainz:-)Traduzido automaticamente.
