- Kevin O.July 2023PositivosA mixed experience. The aqua park, the mini-ranch and the proximity to the sanitary facilities were definitely very positive.NegativosOn the negative side, there was very loud music or animation on our pitch almost every evening until 11:30 pm, so that the children could not fall asleep. The sanitary facilities were regularly dirty, a single morning cleaning is certainly not enough in high season. There was also a constant smell of faeces in several washrooms. The children's entertainment is unsuitable for children who do not (yet) speak French or English, which was unfortunately not communicated in advance. Not a super placePrice-performance ratio was clearly negative for us. We paid for many things that we were ultimately unable to use, especially the children's entertainment. Our children are simply too young to be able to speak foreign languages. The smell of faeces in the showers is unworthy of a super resort. And the... noise pollution from concerts/animation is too much for children, who should be asleep before 11:30 pm. For example, a quiz show was held in French, giving the impression that the presenter was standing right next to the children's bed.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Ivo P.September 2019PositivosNice seats in the higher category.NegativosYou need the carA hit in the low seasonWe were allowed to change places and had a very quiet and relaxing vacation. Friendly staff and top reception. Found many paths with the bike.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Steffen B.October 2018PositivosOverall campsite facilities, comfortable pitches with private sanitary facilities, sun in the fall ;-)NegativosLocation a little out of the way (you need a car)Soak up the sun in fall :-)This very special campsite is located near Fréjus on the Côte d'Azur. Guests are greeted by a huge site with a wealth of facilities (playground, sports facilities, small zoo, restaurant, snack bar, supermarket, bakery, indoor pool, wellness facilities and an impressive outdoor pool). The pitches are... large enough. The pitches with private sanitary facilities are highly recommended. These are large and you always have your own clean sanitary area (even with toilet seats ;-) ). There is also a kitchenette with a fridge, 2 sun loungers and a table with benches. The site is a little out of the way, so you'll need a car for days at the beach or for evening excursions and a stroll along the promenades of the Côte d'Azur. You can spend a few quiet days here in a very well-kept setting. The staff at reception are very friendly and always concerned about the well-being of the anesthetics and do their best to communicate in German.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Tina A.August 2018PositivosOnly a short drive to the beach, lots to do on site. Great pool area.NegativosAll pitches in the lower part, many of them right next to the entertainment area. Lots of NOISE in the high season.Let the noise die down... I want my vacation back!!!!Be careful in high season if you are allocated a pitch near the entertainment area. Unfortunately, that's what happened to us: This review was written well after 23:00, when it was so loud that you could neither talk nor sleep in your own camper van. This is because quite a few pitches are located around... the entertainment area, which is filled with sound until after midnight. On the other hand, it is very quiet in most of the rental accommodations, which are spread all over the hillside. Only campers are left behind, some very close, others a little more subdued: the first table football matches start in the morning, kicking at the wooden gates and walls, the drumming workshop starts later and then the party in the evening. If you ask one of the entertainers to turn down the music during the soccer tournament (why do you actually need beats when you're kicking a ball around?), they say: "Just finish the song." But then the next entertainer connects his cell phone to the speaker and plays his favorite music. Who is actually paying whom here? When you are then told that you should have chosen a different pitch, it gets cheeky. Because anyone who has booked in the high season is allocated a pitch without being asked. We have never experienced anything like this before and will certainly not experience it again at this campsite. If you want to spend your vacation here during the high season, then only rent accommodation or insist on a pitch as far away from the entertainment center as possible. The time window between the end of the party music and the first kickers in the morning is too short for a good night's sleep.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Tanja K.June 2018PositivosQuiet, beautiful pool area, relatively close to the major sightseeing attractions, super friendly receptionNegativosIn the low season during the week no snack / restaurant on the square, unfavorable standing trees - depending on the plot Very large pitchVery relaxed in the low seasonWonderful, quiet family campsite in the low season. Plots large enough, mostly shady. Absolutely recommendable.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Regine B.September 2017PositivosExtensive facilities: pool area, indoor pool, playground, tennis courts... clean sanitary facilities friendly staffNegativosNo soap dispensers in the sanitary area possibly: hillside location, it goes up quite steeply, if you want to go to the CP center with pool, restaurant ...a vacation resort with a beautiful pool areaWe stayed at the campsite for 6 nights in mid-September in the off-season. It is a campsite that has pitches on the plain, with many mobile homes spread over a large area on the slope. Even in the low season, the supermarket still had a very good selection, as did the bakery. In the high season, there... is an extensive entertainment program for both young and old. Ultimately, you can spend days here without having to leave the resort. Conclusion: If you want a club vacation, you're in good hands here. For all others who simply want to spend a relaxed CP vacation, we recommend the low season.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Christina und Manuel A.July 2017Positivos- incredible pool area - great infrastructure - beautiful location in the forestNegativos- very largeFantastique - Top CampingWe spent our family vacation (2 adults, 2 children) with a caravan at the Bergerie. A top 5-star campsite that leaves nothing to be desired. The infrastructure is simply brilliant, starting with the incredible pool area, the wonderful restaurant, the bar and the small marketplace with bakery, snack bar... and small store. Everything is there, and it's beautifully and lovingly done. The sanitary facilities were cleaned 5 times a day, were always clean and modern. For sports enthusiasts, there are football, tennis, basketball and volleyball courts. If you wish, you can take part in numerous activities every day. There are various entertainment programs for all age groups. The campsite is set back from the coast inland (approx. 15 km), but the beaches and bays are easy to reach. We were particularly struck by the general cleanliness, which we have experienced in other places. Although the campsite is very large, we didn't have the feeling that it was loud or hectic. Only in the swimming pool did we notice the crowds. A campsite that we would choose again at any time and can only recommend.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Thomas E.September 2016PositivosQuiet, somewhat secluded site, good for visiting St. Tropez. Large pitches. Very cheap with ADAC-Card.Negativos---Great place in the low seasonWe were here at the end of September. Not all parts of the site were open. Most areas are under trees - no satellite reception possible. Only one pool open - but that's enough. German is spoken at reception, but not on the rest of the site. The sanitary facilities are plentiful and always spotlessly clean. The pitches are huge. We felt very comfortable.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Hans-Joachim P.June 2016PositivosLarge water landscape, good starting point for sightseeing in the surrounding areaNegativosSome places with trees that throw off greasy and strongly coloring fruitsThe C-course is recommended outside the main seasonStayed on the C pitch for a week in June (pre-season). From the reception (German-speaking), sanitary building, water landscape, security, restaurant etc. everything was very tidy and perfectly organized. Free use of the tennis courts. The site is very suitable for excursions in the surrounding area. WiFi is available throughout the site, but only in the restaurant is it free for 30 minutes.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Julia D.June 2016Positivos-Great pool and wellness area (free of charge in the NS) -Restaurant with a beautiful view -very clean and good sanitary facilitiesNegativos- Pitches mostly very shady - somewhat far in the hinterland, motorhomes are somewhat "fixed" - Pitches mostly on forest floorNice place a bit in the hinterlandWe stayed at this site for 10 nights with a motorhome and felt very comfortable. We were able to hire a small car for two days and explore the surrounding area. Please note that there are often trees on the pitches that lose black fruit in May/June, which is often very dirty. Experienced campers had even put netting under the trees and brought large tarpaulins for the forest floor.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Nico L.May 2016PositivosWaterscapeNegativosStony, sandy, unkempt pitchesNice campsite in the low seasonAfter a few days by the sea, we stayed at the campsite because of the really beautiful water landscape. The service is friendly and the water landscape is great. What we didn't like were the garbage areas, completely filthy and the individual pitches should also be raked from time to time or cleaned of the remains of the previous campers. Otherwise a good starting point for excursions to Cannes but also St. Tropez and not far from the beach.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Nic B.July 2015A matter of tasteWe were on the pitch with the family at the end of July. Fortunately, we had booked one of the new premium pitches (own toilet, shower, stove, fridge). We had never seen anything like it before and were pleasantly surprised by the condition. We therefore had a larger pitch on the edge. Many of the other... pitches were quite small, rumpy and littered with old leaves. What was annoying, however, were the full dog waste bags that were scattered in front of our pitch entrance. None of the staff felt responsible for removing them. Did they even have staff to look after the site...? We had to realize that a site like this was not for us. There were definitely too many mobile homes, the pool area was overcrowded, the special swimming trunks requirement was incomprehensible to us, the sun loungers by the pool were occupied at an early hour, it was noisy for a long time in the evening due to the constant entertainment, the walk to the beach was quite long and the Wi-Fi, which we had already paid for, often didn't work (even inquiries didn't improve matters). We preferred it to be smaller and more original, but it was an experience. If you like a lot of hustle and bustle and entertainment, you're certainly in good hands there.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Michael G.September 2014PositivosGreat place, nice service, the sea is not far, yet you are not directly on a main road. Good value in low season.NegativosTo be honest, I see no reason to advise anyone against this place - if you have to budget, you should avoid the high season.Good overall packageWe were there the 1st week of September, just after the main season. We were 2 adults, 2 children (6,9) and 2 tents. As it was already low season and we had the ADAC camping card with us, the daily price was about €27, which was more than fair considering what the site had to offer. The highlight is... certainly the swimming pool - several pools, water massage jets, slides, an indoor pool in the wellness area (for adults only), sauna, hammam (including free tea). There is a relatively well-stocked supermarket on site - the prices are okay and wine lovers will be delighted with the 30 different chilled white wines and rosés. There is a snack bar with burgers and fries and co. - The price is okay. Caution: The chicken burger is delicious, but it doesn't come with a meatball, but with meat from a grilled chicken (remember, otherwise the kids will have a fit ;-) ). There is also a bakery, hairdresser, massages on request, a restaurant and a bar - I didn't test the former, the bar staff mean well with their mixes, but I haven't yet been served a Cuba Libre with cane sugar... I can only partly understand the criticism that has been voiced here about the peace and quiet. Concerts usually end at around 10pm, even if it's disco night in the bar, it ends at midnight - so despite being only 50m from the bar as the crow flies, I've always been able to sleep well (maybe it was the cane sugar?), absolutely no Ballermann atmosphere. Road traffic is almost imperceptible - unless someone has pierced the exhaust pipe on his moped - the road next to the campsite leads to the sea, but it's not the main route, so there's not much going on! All paths are paved or tarred, all trades (except the laundromat - but there are also WaMAs at the sanitary facilities!) are barrier-free and therefore wheelchair accessible, but as the site is on a slope, some paths are quite steep and are likely to go on the upper arms! The sanitary facilities are unisex, toilet paper is usually available, cleaning is done 2-3 times a day - however, the floor tiles tend to get dirty quickly - they don't look good, but I didn't want to sit on the floor either. After the season was almost over, there was dust on the upper edges of the partition walls or lights - I can live with that. The same applies to the cleanliness of the pitches, there were the odd peg to be found, maybe a butt or a piece of plastic film - no problem! Electricity was available on site, even without an adapter. The trees guarantee that you won't be barbecued on the pitch! The staff are friendly and multilingual (not everyone speaks German, but even if your French is rusty, you can get by with English). It's a 10-minute drive to the sea, and St. Aygulf in particular has small bays where you can go snorkeling. If you want to do more shopping, you can drive to Frejus, just as far - the large supermarket there has great fresh fish! Now to the few shortcomings: - In the high season with a tent over 50€ would be too expensive for me. - The barrier works with license plate recognition - it worked for us exactly 0 times (but after 3 days the barrier attendant knew we belonged there). I mean, I can wait, but the annoying people who then stand behind you.... - We had a visitor once at night. The nice bristly wild boars really had no inhibitions about stealing a packet of pasta and rummaging through our dishes, which were still outside. The kids and I thought it was funny - pressing the car key once to make the indicators light up and shouting "Ha" was enough to scare them away ;-) - I think €6 for a load of washing (okay big machine) is steep, plus - I can understand this - you're not allowed to stretch washing lines = what do I do with all the wet washing then (other places at least offer a clothes horse...)? - Cuba Libre with cane sugar is not an option! - the rising expectations of the kids. A point not to be neglected, because they expect an equally extensive program and equally high-quality equipment on the next pitch ;-)Traduzido automaticamente.
- Rainer B.September 2014PositivosGreat bathroom, lots of program, great equipmentNegativosNothing for those seeking peace and quiet, animation/program also demands sacrifices!Mixed !We chose it because: 5-star campsite, cheap with the Campcard, swimming pool for the kids. The campsite has a really great swimming pool, a wide range of free activities and a lot of programs. We stayed in pitch "C", and the nearby road was very annoying and loud. The nearby tennis courts with their... plop, plop also got on our nerves. From 22:00 to 00:00 were then the concerts and events in the open stage, in which the whole CP was allowed to participate. Our conclusion: If you like such places, you'll have fun there, but for us it's nothing, because we also want to enjoy some peace and quiet. simply too much "hustle and bustle", and we weren't impressed by the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities either! A "hair wool mouse" accompanied me in the shower for a week! This type of place is not for us!Traduzido automaticamente.
- Sabine T.July 2011Very nice 4 star campsite. Deserves its stars by the large and beautiful swimming pools, the beautiful new sanitary facilities, the well-equipped gym, the store with a wide range and always fresh bread, the take-away service and the bar and restaurant (reserve !) Attention, not all places are well defined... (we had place E19, the best defined place, almost completely shaded) other places in this section (E) are also OK. minus points: wifi initially worked well, after a week they changed something to the settings and we could send no more mails. Also, it became crowded (especially in gym and pool) from the second week of July ( we left on the 10th. Beach cannot be reached on foot or by bike. Too far and too steep roads.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Familie K.June 2010We were there during the Whitsun vacations and were really more than satisfied. The ACSI card reduced the price to €32.50 for two adults, three children (14, 12, 10) and a dog. We'd be happy to come again any time. Sanitary facilities super clean and a very nice swimming pool available. WIFI free of charge!Traduzido automaticamente.
