We would feel too cramped at the more expensive motorhome pitches by the water, we could hardly turn around there. So we visited the high plateau. Wow, what a dream, we're staying... there. These pitches really have it all. From up here you have a beautiful view over the typical cliffs, you literally had them at your feet. The motorhome pitch was equipped with electricity and a green carpet in front of the pitch. The only downside was that it was a 5-minute walk down the mountain to get water and use the toilet, but that wasn't a problem for us. But when it rains, things can be different. The campsite has a large playground and a spectacular mini-golf course and our children loved running around on the rocks in front of the motorhome. It was a 700-metre walk to the beach, but it was always a great experience as it led over the typical rocky outcrops. Our kids loved fishing for crabs on the beach. They could find equipment for this in the campsite store, which also had a wide range of other items. The campsite's sanitary facilities were in excellent condition. In particular, the family bathrooms with toilet, double shower and bathtub were top class. As a caravan camper, I wouldn't have liked it so much, they were so cramped on their small caravan pitches that you could hear the neighbor snorting. It felt like an anchovy box, they were so close.
