"Simple and affordable - It is ideally suited for an overnight stay. Gravel floor, if necessary there are wooden wedges to put underneath. You stand in a row as if in a parking lot, so the morning exit may be a little tight. The price makes up for this. The inn offers a lovely beer garden and delicious food with large portions. The san. The sanitary facilities offer everything you need, but you have to pay in coins for hot water. The overnight stay can also only be paid for in cash. In the season you should be there in time, on a Thursday in July the place was fully booked at 18:00. You can hear the nearby highway, but it doesn't bother you.

"Good for a quick overnight stay - The place is easy to reach, but the access with a large trailer is quite narrow in the evening when the parking lot in front of the inn is occupied by guests. The service in the inn is quite petty: we wanted to eat something in the evening, but were short of time. The young man behind the counter replied: no, it's already five past nine - if you had ordered five minutes ago, you would have gotten something.

"Great for passing through to the south - Very suitable for those passing through if you don't want to spend the night between loud trucks. Very well-kept site Dinner at the inn is recommended. Breakfast is also available.

"Always great for a stopover - A pitch that lives from transit. And stands on a gravel pitch in rows, which is perfectly acceptable for a transit. The restaurant is very good. We will come here again and again for that reason alone.

"From now on without us - As in the last 5 years, we drove to this pitch on our way home from the south. In recent years, no matter when we arrived, it was no problem to park our short motorhome in the parking lot in front of the pitch so as not to disturb anyone. In recent years, we naturally paid for this parking space the next morning before continuing our journey. We really appreciated this uncomplicated way of spending the night and often recommended it to others. Unfortunately, this year we had a nasty surprise last night, which really annoyed me! We arrived there at 2 o'clock in the morning after many traffic jams and long delays at the borders. There was plenty of space in front of the pitch and we parked as quietly as possible as we didn't want to disturb anyone at night. We used our own bathroom and soon went to sleep, exhausted from the long drive. At 3:15 a.m. we were woken by loud knocking and bright lights on and in our motorhome. A man was standing outside, obviously an employee of the campsite, and told us that we were only allowed to arrive until 10 pm. We replied that we had been stuck in a traffic jam for a long time, to which he cheekily replied that we would just have to leave earlier. He then demanded a €15.50 fee. When we suggested that we pay this in the morning, he threatened to throw us off the site. He stuck a piece of paper with the figures 15.50 on it, which was supposed to be the receipt, on our windshield wiper, not without shining his light inside the motorhome again. We are very annoyed by such cheeky and impertinent behavior. We are honest people who don't leave without paying. We were always happy that there was this uncomplicated option as a stopover and were happy to pay for it. I doubt very much whether we will return to this pitch next year after this incident and behavior.
