- Matthias Z.May 2024PositivosProximity to the old townNegativosToo few wash houses. Loud!Large space with some shortcomingsThe proximity to the old town is very good, especially if you don't have bikes with you. However, the site is populated by families with children, so it's not the best choice for campers looking for peace and quiet. What we didn't like was the small number of wash houses and the resulting traffic jam in the morning.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Michael S.August 2023PositivosVery good childcare and entertainment Location Quiet during the dayNegativos(Disco) noise almost every night until the early hours of the morningTop place, but noise at night from the placeIn our opinion, the place is top! Special mention must be made of the childcare, as the children enjoyed going and we as parents were able to "catch our breath". The location is also very nice.
What we didn't like so much was the parking space allocated to us, which was too small for the family tent... AND car. After consultation, we were allocated a parking space nearby (approx. 30m). So only a small drawback.
What we didn't like at all was the (disco) noise from the town of Krk; almost every night until the early hours of the morning, sometimes until 5/6 in the morning. In the second week there was also a fair, which made the situation even worse. Unfortunately, this point rules out our return visit, at least at this time of year (August).Traduzido automaticamente. - Alexander S.July 2023Positivos- Location directly on the town of Krk - Very nice standing room in the Comfort Mare areaNegativos- Many too expensive - sometimes cold water - too small pool areaNice but expensive place in a good locationThis place deserves 5 stars in terms of location and cleanliness. However, the price is far too high! Especially when the sun loungers and the water games in the sea are not free! Other 5-star campsites (e.g. Camping Val Saline, Rovinj) can do better.
There are a lot of unhappy children, the water games... are rarely used and staff have to be employed for them.
In addition, there should always be warm water at such a price. Wasn't always the case. Too bad.
The location (within walking distance) to the old town of Krk is of course unbeatable. The view of the sea from the Comfort Mare pitches is also unbeatable.
The prices on the campsite for drinks and shopping are ok for Croatian vacation regions.
The musical performances on site were appealing and not intrusive.Traduzido automaticamente. - Franz S.June 2023PositivosProximity to the city, location of the campsiteNegativosTotally chaotic check in, parking space allocated at random, sometimes rude staffNo longer recommendedI've known this campsite since I was a child and a lot has been done in recent years, but the price/performance ratio has now become subterranean. Check in takes a very long time, pitches are allocated at random or you speak to the reception manager, but then your request is dealt with. The only answer... you get from the staff is that if you pay a €150 reservation fee, they will tell you which pitches are free, which they do when you register!
On our first vacation about 5 years ago, we had to decide whether to put up the tent for the children or take out the awning, and that with Premium Mare!
Two years later we only got a suitable pitch by insisting and holding back the deposit in exchange for a guarantee of a pitch that was big enough, we need at least 70 square meters so not an excessively large one!
This year we hoped to get a nice plot without any pressure but were disappointed again.
You pay 900€ for 8 nights with 2 adults and two children over 12 and a small igloo tent.
Depending on the wash house, you either get cold water for showering or you have to wait a long time because the wash houses, some of which have been beautifully renovated, are not designed for the current number of visitors.
The piazza is beautifully designed and you can get everything you need in the supermarket.
Conclusion for us:
A beautifully laid out CP, in a great location, in principle well thought-out parking space offer (as described above, however, it is not implemented). For this price/performance category, we expect significantly more service and a more welcoming and feel-good atmosphere when registering.
Other 3/4* CPs do this much more pleasantly and more comfortably for less money.Traduzido automaticamente. - Bernhard T.May 2023PositivosShort walk to the old town of KrkNegativosMust be paid in full in advance from 2023. No money back for early departure.Must be paid in full in advance from 2023.Must be paid in full in advance from 2023.
We were there 2 weeks before Whitsun. The rental period must be paid immediately on arrival. Unfortunately, we were unlucky because the wind/storm was unbearable all day. It is well known as "Bora - dreaded wind". We left after 3 days, although we had already... paid for another 4 days. Our pitch was occupied again after just one hour. Money back? Not a chance. We were charged twice.
In addition, the pool is definitely too small for so many campers. The same applies to the wash houses. You have to be patient at peak times. Price and service don't match and if you want to leave early, you lose your money for the days you paid for in advance.
I therefore cannot recommend it - a rip-off.Traduzido automaticamente. - Renate K.October 2022PositivosThe entire systemNegativosThe numerous dogs that barked from morning until evening. If one stopped, it started at another motorhome. Why don't they make a separate dog zone, like at other campsites? I like dogs, but if some dog owners don't clean up after them, it's unacceptable. - Birgit S.August 2022Positivos- Location (close to krk) - very suitable for children - Maro Club - clean sanitary facilities - very nice clear waterNegativos- not enough showers - some really extremely short settings - long hair rinsed out 6-7 times - Laundry too expensive 60 kn- 8 EuroBeautifully situated campsite- initially had a place at the garbage (permanent visit of the garbage disposer) and at permanent camper places (old and not maintained) in addition, the place was really short (have stood out a bit in the back) - van 6.40m - and blazing sun unfortunately without a tree ... on change request was tried... to respond but the proposed place was also too small, after someone wanted a Mare place we could move to this vacant ... is just really very busy ... the place offers everything you need and a nice piazza to lingerTraduzido automaticamente.
- Jens B.June 2022PositivosWater, view, proximity to KRK, beach, campsite facilities, cleanliness, location, layoutNegativosnarrow pitches, even narrower paths, close to KRK (noisy at night), resin stains on car, awning and caravan due to trees, very expensive (everything)Vacation June 2022Arrival was easy, check-in took a good three quarters of an hour, but that's the way it is with so many people arriving. However, there were enough people trying to process the check-in. Everything was friendly. The campsite is in a wonderful location and very nicely laid out. Unfortunately, the proximity... to KRK is both a blessing and a curse. It is wonderful to walk to KRK in the evening and then back again without always needing a vehicle. Unfortunately, there was always a party going on in KRK when we were there, so it was sometimes very loud at the campsite until 3am. The paths are very narrow for maneuvering and partly (like ours) parked up. We were faced with the problem of our caravan touching down with the drawbar and the rear at the same time when driving on and off the pitch because it was so narrow and steep. Our pitch itself was large enough with a wonderful view of the sea. Unfortunately we had a lot of resin stains on the awning, car and caravan which cost us a whole weekend at home + 2 cans of tree resin remover. Water and electricity were available directly at the pitch. The pitch fees were very high, as were the prices for food and drink on the campsite. Shortly before our departure, we experienced for the first time that all price tags were changed, probably due to the start of the main season. Then there was another big increase. For us, far too expensive for what was on offer. Otherwise, everything was very clean, tidy and all the staff were always friendly. Unfortunately, this is not a place we would want to go again.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Manfred B.June 2022PositivosWe got a great pitch with shade and a view of the sea. The proximity to the town of Krk is great. Apart from that, the campsite offers all the amenities in the top range.NegativosSometimes a bit noisy. Although the people make every effort, check-in takes a relatively long time. Other top campsites also suffer from this.excellent locationWe will be back! Krk itself is great and there is still a lot to see.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Ralf P.March 2022PositivosClean facilities, friendly staff, there is even a traffic light in front of the sanitary facilities to avoid overcrowding. Dogs no problem.NegativosNobody adheres to the Covid measures, compulsory masks in the sanitary building that nobody checks, even their own staff don't adhere to anything. No designated gas route.Beautifully maintained facility, theoretical COVID rulesThe stay would have been perfect if the advertised COVID rules had been adhered to. - Helmut H.September 2021Positivosin 5-10 minutes in the town of Krk right by the sea friendly staffNegativosSanitary 1 could be renovated Sanitary 2 constantly overcrowdedtop campsite right by the sea and close to the cityWe felt very comfortable from start to finish. The check-in went smoothly and was done quite quickly. The site was well explained to us using the site map and the lady at reception was very friendly. she also spoke quite good German. But then we realized that not all reception staff speak German. Our... pitch in the first row by the sea was just great, we've never had such a great pitch before. Great view of the sea and in 5 meters in the water. There are many different pitches from sunny to shady, smaller and very large and many are very good to drive to, some not so good. The proximity to the town of Krk was great, you could be at the harbor or in the old town in 5-10 minutes. We explored the island and went on a very nice boat tour. Rijeka is also worth seeing. The restaurant at the campsite is highly recommended. The sanitary building 1 could do with a renovation, some of the clothes hooks are missing and you can tell that it is a bit older, the water regulation is also very difficult, warm, hot, cold changes all the time. Sanitary 2 is new, but always overcrowded. There are 2 bakeries and a small supermarket. Overall, we had a very nice vacation and would definitely come back.Traduzido automaticamente.
- vroni h.August 2021PositivosCp beautifully situated, close to the town of Krk, clean seaNegativosFriendliness of the staff!!!! (Rezetion and "parking lot guide") Too little infrastructure for the size of the site Hygiene measures (covid 19) Narrow access roads for parking spacesTolerated but not welcomeThe good things first... the site is beautifully situated in a pine forest and there are shady pitches, the sea is wonderfully clean and you can walk to KRK...
Unfortunately, however, the friendliness of the staff leaves a lot to be desired - you feel tolerated but unfortunately not welcome.
At check-in... (which took 1.5 hours!!!) we were repeatedly chased away from the check-in lane by the "parking attendants" - with the explanation that you are only allowed to stand here for a short time. We were even threatened with fines several times.... With such a large camping site, you have to provide enough parking spaces to allow arriving vehicles a relaxed check in.... or simply work faster at the reception...
The access to the pitches is sometimes extremely narrow.
There are far too few showers and toilets for the mass of people here....
Covid 19 measures are advertised on the Valamar homepage but not adhered to. (The pool, for example, was a human soup)Traduzido automaticamente. - Alexander B.October 2020Positivosclean campsite, very nice and clean WC/bathroom (house 2), very friendly staffNegativosThe pool was always only 22° although it is advertised as being 28° all year round.Beautiful campsite in the town of KRKVery nice campsite with some beautiful pitches. Partly because many are very angled or trees are in the middle of the square so that you hardly have a possibility to position your caravan or mobile correctly. in the off-season really fantastic but in midsummer we would not want to vacation here.Traduzido automaticamente.

- Lutz E.September 2019PositivosProximity to the town of Krk Cleanliness of the facility Beautiful beachesNegativosPitches partly small Most beautiful pitches for mobile homes awardedFall vacationWe, 2 adults with a small dog, stayed at the campsite at the end of September. The site is beautifully laid out and very clean. The whole site makes a very well-kept impression. Unfortunately, the most beautiful pitches are now taken for the mobile homes, which are admittedly very nice.
The site impresses... with its proximity to the town of Krk.
There are many excursion destinations to visit on the island of Krk. A trip to the island of Cres or to Rijeka is also worthwhile. The walks from Porat to Malinska and from Malinksa to Nivijce were fantastic.
It was a very nice vacation with moderate weather.
The staff at the reception are Croatian friendly. The place takes the Acsi card which meant a big discount for us.Traduzido automaticamente. - Franz P.September 2019PositivosNice, clean, large beautiful pitches and dog-friendlyNegativosVery poor access to the sea in the area of the dog beach.A very nice placeA very nice place - also for a vacation with a dog. We stayed at this >place in September 2019 and liked it very much. However, I have one point of criticism. Access to the sea in the dog beach area is very, very poor. I am 70 years old and no longer as agile and skillful as young people. However, as... the whole access to the sea is littered with large stones, I had great difficulty swimming. Please create a "stone-free access". However, we will certainly come back in spring 2020.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Sabrina R.August 2019PositivosVery good location, nice place, clean and well-keptNegativosSmall wash house with few showers.Very nice, clean placeWe stayed 11 days/nights at the end of August in the first row directly by the sea. Unfortunately, the pitch was too small for the caravan (6.5m), awning and car (estate car). As we liked the location and access to the pitch, we asked at reception if we could park the car somewhere else. A very friendly... member of staff then came and looked for options with us and we found a parking space a few meters away. The pool (non-swimmer pool, children's pool and separate slides) was very nice and clean, but a swimmer's pool would still be missing. Sanitary facilities and outdoor areas were constantly cleaned and maintained. During peak times there was of course a wait for the showers (wash house 2, 4 showers per gender). But according to information from permanent guests, the wash house is to be extended next year. Children's club/animation looks great, but we didn't make use of it and it wasn't intrusive. The staff were all nice and friendly. Plots are very different in size or small. It's a matter of luck which one you get, maybe you're lucky and can choose one.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Roland J.July 2019PositivosCity connectionNegativosNight's rest is not observed. Sanitary facilities too small.Campers are systematically mobbed outThis was our 13th time at this campsite. Since the new mobile homes have been built, the normal campers are seen as nothing more than an annoying appendage. Unfortunately, we had the misfortune of having camping neighbors who turned night into day. Our complaints were ignored. They were dismissed as... if they were the troublemakers themselves. Even the fact that only 2 out of 4 people were registered didn't seem to matter. Despite confirmation from the other neighbors, they were allowed to carry on like this and also became aggressive due to the alcohol consumption. The security didn't do anything either. It was probably due to the language. We won't be visiting this campsite again any time soon as the recreational value was zero this year. Frustrated, we left early. This shows that audacity wins. Other campers were also very dissatisfied.Traduzido automaticamente.
