- Mousstik T.June 2018PositivosWater gamesNegativosGlobal maintenanceNo more than one nightIt's a place where the campsite is neglected compared to the mobile home, lack of maintenance and staff. Too much to say for so few characters.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Jürgen L.June 2017PositivosBathing areaNegativosLoud animation, defective sanitary facilities, ruined ambienceHow you can ruin an idyllic campsite!!!On our way back from Brittany, we wanted to stay 3 nights at the campsite, which we remembered as a very cozy and pleasant place a few years ago. What we experienced left us speechless and is a chilling example of how an idyll can be destroyed. The pretty little chateau was literally "walled in" by hundreds... of mobile homes. Right next to the historic building, a huge, screamingly colorful water slide was erected, crushing everything. The highlight was the loud entertainment from around 5.30 p.m. until midnight, which took place in the castle's three-sided courtyard and beamed right onto the overnight pitches. It was as if the event was taking place in its own awning. Although the sanitary facilities were relatively new, many of them were broken. Although we had paid for 3 nights, we fled the next morning and found a pleasant and quiet place in the next village directly on the Loire.Traduzido automaticamente.
- David H.September 2015PositivosAvoid it .NegativosPoor service , indifferent staff , out of season blues. The end of season Campsite from hellWe arrived on the last Monday that this campsite was open in September2015. The receptionist was indifferent and when we asked for bread in the morning we were told to go to a supermarket 1km down the road . The site we occupied was strewn with rubbish . The childrens playground looked a real half hearted... affair. The toilets had toilet paper strewn on the floor and the washing cubicles were grubby. The bar was closed but to be fair the restaurant was open and offered a restricted menu . Altogether a very poor experience which we endured for one night and gladly escaped to a campsite on the Loire where everything was open , clean and the staff couldn't be more helpful . To be honest it was an insult to charge 17Euros at Chateau De La Grenouillere for such a poor experience.
- Frank K.June 2014PositivosGood for transit near the highwayNegativossee evaluation reportFor the transit quite ok...but:In 2014, we were passing through on our way to the Atlantic coast and had chosen this place halfway. The pictures we saw beforehand when we were planning our trip were very promising. When we arrived at around 7pm, the reception was no longer staffed. One of the guests told us to stand somewhere, that's... what everyone does. We were looking forward to perhaps going to the swimming pool/outdoor pool to relax after the long tour. But that was also closed. As was the very small supermarket. On a tour of the site, we noticed how crowded some of the campers had to be and we were glad that we were only there for one night. The reception didn't open again until 9.00 a.m., so we put the money for an overnight stay in an envelope and put it in the letterbox (we could have camped there for free), but we are honest: photos can be really deceptive, it looks more unkempt than in the pictures. The sanitary facilities were also unkempt. The site is ok for one night, but we would never stay there for a longer period of time (we won't be going there again)Traduzido automaticamente.
- Helmut H.May 2014Positivos1km to the next village and supermarket with cheap gas station.NegativosOccasional road traffic (side road) and regional train traffic during the day. regional train traffic, but no disadvantage!!!!Great place to go on bike tours. The place is clean and tidy. The reception is very friendly and helpful, with beautiful bike rides to the castles along the river or through the large parks.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Norbert S.July 2012only stayed 1 night. real transit campground, because location is a bit boring, along a provincial road. For families with small children absolutely fine, because quiet, good facilities, nice pool, both outside and inside. castle there, just like you're in France. not too big. tried to walk in the neighborhood, but on one side you bump against a railroad and on the other side rather straight roads along endless grain fields.Traduzido automaticamente.
- denis f.August 2010Too big (4 organizations manage parts of the campsite). Noisy environment (between busy main road and railroad line). Fairly quiet inside the campsite. 80% Dutch, so it's hard to get to know people. 3 pools, including 1 with slides, but the water is cold! On the other hand, fairly well located if you want to visit the region. But overall rather disappointed (value for money) for a 4* campsite. We (2 adults + 3 teenagers) won't be going back!Traduzido automaticamente.
