- Thomas B.July 2023PositivosTerraced pitches with mature trees. Campfire site and a nice playground. Very clean sanitary facilities.NegativosNo hot meals, but local restaurants are recommended.Quiet campsite on the edge of the forestThe Waldgut is a family business and the friendly and helpful owners speak Polish, German, English and Spanish. We immediately felt at home on site. The site is a wonderful starting point for the numerous sights in the surrounding area. The campsite extends behind the 300-year-old manor house and offers... both shady and sunny pitches. In summer there is a refreshing outdoor pool. There is a well-equipped self-catering kitchen (with facilities for cooking and washing up, including a fridge and microwave) and a games room with various board games, children's toys, table tennis and billiards. The vegetarian café offers breakfast, cakes and various drinks.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Stefan W.August 2020PositivosPure tranquillity. Natural shade from tall trees. Beautiful, straight pitches. Delicious cakeNegativosDinner only from 7 pm.An oasis in the Owl MountainsVery nice and quiet campsite. The German family who run the campsite are very concerned about the well-being of their guests.
There were plenty of activities for our 2 year old son (sandpit, swing, seesaw)
The pool is approx. 150 cm deep.
Very clean sanitary facilities with the charm of the 50s.Traduzido automaticamente. - Werner S.July 2019PositivosQuiet, reasonably priced food; good price-performance ratioNegativosNo WLAN on site, but you want peace and quiet.....If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the right placeCP laid out on terraces with old trees providing shade; very quiet location; there is a very reasonably priced evening meal that changes daily to order; it is an old manor house that has housed the clean sanitary facilities in the rustic vaulted cellar; there is a fully equipped kitchen (see photo);... cozy large fireplace on the pitch; no hot water at the washbasin, but there is adjustable hot water in the showers and, if you want, really hot water (you rarely get this in some places). There is a fully equipped kitchen (see photo); cozy large fireplace on the pitch; no hot water at the washbasin, but adjustable hot water in the showers and really hot water if you want it (sometimes you rarely get it); price-performance ratio is 57 zlotys for 2 people for 1 night with electricity.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Renate S.September 2018PositivosAbsolute peace and quiet.NegativosEverything is outdated. Doors jammed, little light in the dark. Fireplace with ashes from years. 5 old, rusty crickets. Weedy placeSilent and lonelyTime has stood still here for 6 years. Hedges are trimmed, but bushes and trees are not. Lots of rotten fruit in the meadows.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Christian B.July 2018PositivosQuiet, beautiful in the countrysideNegativosPrevious award, EnglishOne night (unfortunately)The approach to the area is adventurous. The campsite is even more so, especially if you come from the wrong side. The staff are friendly and helpful, but can't speak English (but the registration form is in German). The site is very remote and quiet. The sanitary facilities are old but well maintained. There is enough space, which is sometimes very sloping and you have to balance a lot.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Dorothee S.June 2017PositivosLocation, peace, nature, friendliness, everything you need.An enchanted paradiseWe actually only wanted to stay for 2-3 days and then head east. The Waldgut is really special. You feel like you've been transported back decades. The location is unique, pure idyll, nature, peace and campfire romance. The pitches have water, electricity and waste water and are located on a terraced... slope with a steep access road in a clearing. The sanitary facilities are located in the vaulted cellar of the manor house, accessible via a high staircase, and are simple but very clean. There is also a disabled bathroom/WC accessible without stairs. The path from the pitches to the house is steep and unpaved. Everything is available in the guest kitchen/sink in the house, from crockery to stove, dishwasher etc. The campfire area is really great, where you can meet up informally in the evening. The location is ideal for nature lovers, hikers, peace seekers and campers who want to explore the region around Glatz.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Freddy B.September 2016Positivosquiet location and great value cuisineNegativosno WIFI and cash payment onlyIdyllic small village in the Owl MountainsThe approach was difficult, the place was not sufficiently signposted. This is the house of the manager of the former estate with the flair of the 1930s. The decor of the house is nostalgic, with the "OWL" theme running through all the rooms. The seats are laid out in terraces. The food was really home-made... and reasonably priced. There is also a small swimming pool on the grounds. On the negative side, the site is inadequately secured, no WIFI on the campsite (only in the house) and no card payment possible - only cash. A place for nature lovers and people looking for peace and quiet.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Reinhard W.November 2015small but ( probably ) fineWe stayed at this campsite from 13 to 17.11.2015. Although declared as a year-round pitch, everything was already in "hibernation". We were explicitly given the keys for the sanitary facilities and for the entrance gate, which was locked at night, by a friendly and very helpful member of staff and were... "our own boss" on the pitch. In the season, when everything is open, it is certainly a site to be recommended, suitable for relaxing, hiking and as a base for excursions to the Glatzer Bergland, the Owl Mountains and also for visits to Wroclaw.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Roberto K.June 2015PositivosVery quiet and peaceful campsite in beautiful natural surroundingsNegativosthe hiking parking lots are usually only accessible by carVacation in the Owl Mountains1 week camping vacation with tent in mid-June in Góry Sowie (Owl Mountains); very beautifully situated, large terraced campsite with very friendly, helpful and very good German-speaking staff; there is a chic restaurant-café in the country house; the campsite in Woliborz was our starting point for beautiful... excursions into the surrounding countryside and hikes in the mountains; the Eulenbaude on the way to the Hohe and Kleine Eule is very beautiful; the campsite kitchen and sanitary facilities are very well maintained and are cleaned daily; in cloudy weather we warmed up at the spacious fireplace; in bad weather a room can be rentedTraduzido automaticamente.
- Grzesio P.May 2015PositivosPeace, tranquility and forestNegativoslack of.RestVery cool and intimate Camping in the old park by the hunting lodge. Small campground for trailers and tents and guest rooms, kitchen, rest room. For us the base for trips to the mountains and the Czech Republic, to Klodzko a piece. Swimming pool at the house, full infrastructure for trailers and campers. 7 days of rest in the Owl Mountains with children. Many attractions to explore.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Michael H.May 2015PositivosNice and quiet site.NegativosSome facilities are quite old.Very laid back place... very laid back staff...Nice an quiet camp-site. Not to much activity on the site itself. Power hookups, sanitary facilities and so on are all clean and in working order - but of an older date. The pitches are relatively level. There's a pooltable, internet-terminal and a pingpong table. All look very, very tired. But they are there... The owner is an older Gentleman, who seemed a bit strict at first, but he warmed up and was a fine host...
- Arvid P.June 2014Good starting point for nature loversNice, clean site in a beautiful scenic location with friendly and accommodating service from the staff. The sanitary facilities are a little older but always clean. The manor house with its cafe has a special charm and the food (home cooking) was delicious and reasonably priced.Traduzido automaticamente.

- Sebastian K.August 2012We were there at the end of August and it seemed to be the end of the season. The restaurant was closed and the pool was obviously already being prepared for the winter. The staff were friendly and as already described in other posts they speak excellent German. Although the Waldgut is a bit remote,... it is easy to organize food in the nearby village. The biggest problem for us was finding the site. The approach is only signposted from one particular direction. Our bad luck was that we had chosen a different route. Here are the coordinates to help you. Perhaps they will be useful. 50.591765 N 16.581264 O.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Michael B.August 2012Lovely, spacious complex with several terraced pitches in a beautiful park with mature trees in very beautiful surroundings. Small swimming pool. Good, well-kept sanitary facilities, kitchen for camping guests, café and reasonably priced restaurant, all in the stylish, stately former forester's lodge.... German management of the site, always helpful and on hand with tips for excursions. Hot water included. Password-protected Wi-Fi included in the main house area. Buns in the store on the outskirts of Woliborz 500 m west of the campsite. Other stores in the village, supermarket in Nowa Ruda (7 km). Many beautiful excursion and cycling opportunities in the neighboring Owl Mountains, to Nowa Ruda, Klodzko (Glatz) and the Heuscheuer Mountains.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Veronika K.August 2011A nice quiet place. The owner is very friendly and speaks perfect German and the restaurant on site is excellent and reasonably priced. You can go on beautiful excursions in the surrounding area.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Elisabeth W.May 2010The campsite is located in a charming landscape. If you like hiking, this is the place for you. But it is also a good starting point for exploring Silesia and all its sights. The manor house also offers campers a family atmosphere, which is created by the owner couple and their staff. The kitchen serves... good food at good prices on request. The offer also varies according to the season. The pitches must have good drainage. Because with all the rain in May 2010 we had a pitch that dried out quickly and no water in the awning.Traduzido automaticamente.
