- Michael J.September 2021PositivosThe site is easy to reach.NegativosSanitary standard - I am skeptical.Stopover 09_2021If you are coming from the south, the campsite is very easy to reach. There are lots of things to do within a radius of around 40 km. However, now in September, nothing to experience directly on site. There are some old houses in the village and of course access to the fjord. We set out on a short hike... and were done after 2 1/2 hours. The sanitary facilities are a matter of personal preference. I would at least have liked a hook in the shower.
Disposal was OK. Fresh water hose was on the floor, unfortunately a common problem. Overall, however, I am satisfied because we had a good night here.Traduzido automaticamente. - Volker K.September 2019PositivosQuiet, clean sanitary facilities, beautifully situatedNegativosnoneNice, small CPFriendly reception, clean sanitary facilities. Restaurant on site. Shopping facilities and nice little old town approx. 8 minutes' walk away. Starting point for hikes.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Sandra B.August 2019PositivosCleanliness, lots of play facilities for children, bathing area with sunbathing lawn.NegativosnoneFamily campsite with play facilities for children and bathing areaThe campsite is clean and well-organized. There are permanently allocated numbered pitches, which is probably rather untypical in Norway. Everything is available. There could just be more showers and toilets. There is a small playground with a trampoline and a bathing area with a sunbathing lawn. If... that's not enough, you can go to the motor skills park in the immediate vicinity of the campsite (but it costs extra). There are other play facilities for children, such as pedal cars and climbing frames. There are several fjords in the surrounding area with boat trips, stave churches and plenty of nature. There is a petrol station and shopping facilities in the village.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Gg k.June 2019PositivosHigh-quality and popular campsite, huge range of leisure activities.NegativosYou will look in vain for secluded solitude herePopular and lively squareI received a very friendly welcome at reception in German, despite the hectic Pentecost period. The whole site is perfectly flat. You can enjoy the sun for a long time. The restaurant is a 3+, sanitary 2. Everything was tidy and clean, typically Norwegian and functional. Would love to come back againTraduzido automaticamente.
- Yvonne G.August 2017PositivosLocationNegativosnoneGreat campsiteWe, 2 adults and 3 children (4, 10 and 12 years old) stayed at this campsite for 5 nights in August with our own caravan. The access is easy and well signposted, the reception was always manned and very friendly and helpful. We were allowed to choose our own pitch. WiFi is free and worked great. The... sanitary facilities were always clean, there are two wash houses, if one has just been cleaned you can also use the other. For children there are Kettcars to rent, there are different Kettcars, also for several people, which our children (and dad :-)) really liked. The playground is small, there is a large playground right next door, but we didn't test it, it costs an entrance fee. You can rent a boat directly from the campsite, but the owner wants a boat license for a boat with a motor, which we have never had in Norway, and then had to switch to rowing for fishing! You can make wonderful excursions from the campsite, we never got bored all day, there was plenty to see. Shopping facilities are only a few minutes away, you can also go on foot, refueling is also possible directly at the campsite. The campsite accepts ACSI, which saved us a lot of money. We felt very comfortable, can definitely recommend the campsite and will definitely be back!Traduzido automaticamente.
- Patrick G.August 2017Positivos- Location - Plot sizeNegativos- Showers - Extra fee for playgroundGood location, but otherwise well...The location of the campsite is great, right on the fjord, the Auerlandsweg and the Laerdaltunnel are close by and Flam is also easily accessible. The pitches are parceled out and quite spacious, unfortunately due to the weather there is already some water on the meadows, which were also driven over... by motorhomes. The sanitary facilities are mixed, the showers are scarce in number, there is not even a hook for jacket / towel, etc.. You will also look in vain for a splash-proof shelf. The playground is ok, the new nice big playground costs about 8€ extra per person per day.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Tobias M.July 2017PositivosTidy, clean placeNegativosReception very unfriendly to foreignersGermans toleratedAlthough there were still plenty of free places, Germans are only offered a 'nakter' pitch without electricity directly on the road ... only conditionally recommended, otherwise very clean and tidy place (for Norwegians)Traduzido automaticamente.
- lucie l.June 2017Positivosbeautiful place with friendly staffNegativosThe festivalBeautiful placeIt's a beautiful place, with friendly staff and clean toilets. The shop is a little bit small, but with all the important goods.
- Willi M.August 2016NegativosFar too expensive, renovation backlogThe huts are not recommendedWe were there at the end of August 2016 with the intention of spending 3 days in a hut. After viewing 2 cabins, it was clear that it would only be one night, due to time constraints. The huts are clearly overpriced for the state of construction and the furnishings. We have had much better cabins for considerably less money.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Jürgen S.June 2016Good pitch with proper sanitary facilities. The site is the ideal location for visiting Laerdalsöyri and driving along Bjørgavegen to Aurlandsvangen and back through the 24 km long tunnel.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Walter H.June 2016PositivosNice location, clean, friendly staffNegativosWhen Jordepele Festival is in Laerdal, it gets pretty loud. Rock concert until 02:00, but only lasts 2 nights.Beautiful place at the end of the fjordWe stayed in Laerdal for 9 nights and explored the fjord landscape from there by car and on foot. Friendly staff, clean sanitary facilities, small restaurant with Italian food. Food. Pizza was very good and big for about 18 €.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Marcus O.August 2015PositivosFriendly staff Good, clean sanitary facilities Free wifi availableNegativosadjacent street a bit annoying during the dayGood placeWe stayed there for three days and generally felt comfortable. The sanitary facilities were modern and clean, the staff were very friendly and even spoke German. There are two kitchens and a laundry room. You can hire bikes on site and there is a bike store there. There was everything from youth bikes... to e-mountain bikes with invisible batteries. You can also explore the nearby fjord with a rental boat. There is an adjoining coffee restaurant, which we did not visit. Unfortunately, the busy road is not far away and disturbs the peace and quiet a little. In the evening, however, the traffic decreases rapidly. Wifi is available free of charge on the entire siteTraduzido automaticamente.
- Ursula H.July 2015Beautifully situated campsiteBeautifully located campsite. The staff are friendly and speak German as well as English. The sanitary buildings and the site are clean. Particularly suitable for trips to Flam and via the Aurlandvegen. CP is very close to the city. The city tour is recommended.Traduzido automaticamente.
- R.F.P. S.September 2014PositivosFine campground with good facilities. Bike rental for those who like cycling.NegativosN/A.Assessment 2014Very well equipped quality campground. It is always a pleasure to be here. Good starting point for great day trips. The grounds are very well maintained. Good firm ground with no mud and good grass. Also very good sanitary facilities. Definitely recommended for those going to this part of Norway. Extremely friendly service. There are now also bicycles for rent.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Daniel H.July 2014Centrally located campsiteThe campsite is a bit cramped, in summer there are a lot of people in a small space. There are not too many sanitary facilities. Nice playground nearby for a fee. The location is a bit noisy, especially when a ferry arrives.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Thomas W.July 2013Very well-kept, not too crowded campsite, very nice staff who also speak German, very clean sanitary facilities, nice kitchen, beautiful location directly on the fjord, lots of play facilities for children, free WLAN, we felt very comfortable.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Jürgen F.August 2012Very nice location directly on the fjord. Motorboat rental possible. Sanitary facilities acceptable. Staff very friendly.Traduzido automaticamente.

- P. H.July 2011Beautiful place with a good location close to the city. Ideal starting point for excursions etc. Lots of sports facilities. For my taste, however, too "unnorwegian" due to the flat location, i.e. too narrow and therefore also latently rather noisy. You feel a bit like you're in a terraced housing estate.... I couldn't find the much-praised great sanitary facilities. They are no more than average, almost even below average for 2011. I was irritated by the particularly positive highlights of the sanitary block in other reviews. It could definitely be better. But it is tidy. The cleaning lady is really finished in the evening when she goes out. In my opinion, the price is not so favorable, but certainly due to the optimal location, WLAN included.Traduzido automaticamente.
