- Mandy R.September 2020PositivosGreat location on the reservoir, with a beautiful viewNegativos-stony beach -sanitary facilities not so greatGreat locationWe stayed here for one night at the end of August and found it okay. It was perfect for swimming and sunbathing.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Stanislav P.September 2019PositivosQuiet location by the lakeNegativosPoorly maintained sanitary facilitiesQuietly located campsiteThe campsite is located about 6 km from Lipt. Mikulas on a large reservoir. The reception was friendly and you could choose your own pitch. Most of the pitches offer no shade. The sanitary facilities were old and unkempt. The shower water was lukewarm to cold. The price was too high for the service offered.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Michał P.July 2019PositivosAtmosphere and location.NegativosNo dogs allowed in the lake.Highly recommendedSuper. A nice base for a trip to the Tatra Mountains and in the absence of weather close to Tatralandia and Jaskienie.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Pavol F.May 2019PositivosVery nice surroundings, we camped, so the lawn was awesome, access to water and electricity was easy, toilets and showers very nice and clean. Water rescue service SČK.NegativosFar away shop, up on the other side of the village. Few tables. A little more to tidy up the beach shore and collect glass.SatisfactionThe overall impression at the end of the stay is satisfaction. A little more expensive than we expected, but we take it as a charge for really nice bathroom facilities. There are quite a few buffets, we have somewhere to eat.Traduzido automaticamente.

- Brian L.August 2018PositivosReception opening hoursNegativosVery basic sanitary facilities, no shop or supermarket, pay before you stay, noisy in the late evening, no parcells, campers very closeBasic and noisy campsite but in a beautiful locationPay before you stay!!! I was very happy my wife convinced me to only stay 2 nights instead of the planned 3, we had to pay before entering and I doubt they would have refunded had we chosen to leave before time. Prices are relatively high for Slovakia an the camp site is not very organized, there are... no parcels for campers just a few large pastures where you put your tent or caravan wherever you like. Sanitary facilities were very basic, one block of toilets were even closed although the campsite was full. The toilets and showers that were open were in containers, toilets often lacked cleaning and/or paper. You pay quite a premium for electricity, but nobody is checking if you paid and the electricity is not locked away (it's out in the open), so you could probably get away with not paying. Depending on where you find a free spot, electricity might be far away (+30m). The 23:00 silence wasn't really respected and often the noise continued until at least midnight even though the guard did do a round to check. I wouldn't recommend the site for light sleepers. I think my wife didn't feel safe at night, at least she never wanted to go to the toilets alone, this hasn't been an issue in other camp sites so far! Pretty much the only thing this camping has to offer is the location close to the Liptov lake, I hope they develop this region more touristically because it has a lot of potential and there are not really many alternatives to Mara Camping unless you want to stay far away from the lake.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Andrea M.July 2018PositivosLocationNegativosI have nothingsuper campsite in liptov pri maregreat location, beautiful nature around, possibility for cycling, swimming, hiking, playground for children, possibility for sailing on the sea, boating. They also have good social facilitiesTraduzido automaticamente.
- Paulina S.July 2017PositivosThe staff speaks Polish. Beautiful views. All-access kitchen. Plenty of space. Nearby store and pizzeria.NegativosBoth the campground and the parking lot are sometimes crowded. The toilets lack locks.Unearthly views!Caution on getting there, navigation can be deceiving. The campground in July was full. We managed to find a vast grassy tent site with no one in it. After a few days, other amateur campers began to join us. Toilets in the center, reasonably clean, but the equipment's glory days are behind them. No locks... on the toilets. Available kitchen with working contacts. In the campground you can eat something, drink beer. The views are the biggest advantage, the lake and mountains in the background give motivation and joy for months.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Jána J.July 2016PositivosWater SurroundingsNegativosCamp surrounded by fences Inadequate toilet facilitiesBig disappointmentThe campsite is surrounded by three fences and the entrance to the water and especially back is guaranteed by the ubiquitous arm band. If you manage to get away from the water without the belt (it was left in the caravan), you will have to argue with the staff at the gatehouse. Some stands and attractions... are closed mid-season. Only the main assembly area is open with exorbitant prices. Restrooms built from construction cells contain minimal toilets. No toilet paper, of course, but at other times it overflows again from a full toilet. Camping truth a big disappointment, the only beautiful surroundings suitable for cycling with children.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Pavel D.July 2016PositivosYou must wear green armbands.NegativosYou are not in the countryside, little hot water, little toilet paper, no shop, no promotion of the surroundings, in the middle of the campsite the electricity did not work. Very disappointingDisappointingIf you prefer to stay in the countryside, this site does not offer that. It is surrounded by cabins, guesthouses and hotels. Bring your own toilet paper. You'll have to be lucky for hot water. Sanitation remembers the last five years and Husák. There's no shop in the campsite, the bistros are overpriced... and they can't even make langos. There's plenty of bikers in the camp. Sometimes they make noise, sometimes less. You can tell the poor people who visit the camp by the armband you have to wear under penalty of death for the rest of your life. If you're already staying, ask where the electricity is out. They won't tell you themselves. We didn't mind that some of the lamps weren't lit.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Denys N.August 2015PositivosLots of all sorts of offerings for water based vacations, bikes etc. Plenty of pitches for caravans/caravans and campers Excellent sanitary blocksNegativosWeak wi-fi signal Few places to wash dishes and things Smashing accommodation for tents and caravans/ motorhomesOne of the most popular campsites in Slovakia, especially in the summer periodIt is very well located in the very center of Slovakia, on a lake. A water park, thermal springs and the proximity of the Low Tatras region make it very attractive for car tourists traveling in Slovakia....Traduzido automaticamente.
- György K.August 2015PositivosLocation. Service, kindness.NegativosOvercrowding. Few showers and toilets.Mara CampingThe place is wonderful. Mountains, lake. It is not suitable for a quiet rest, because there are a lot of people and the tents are in each other's "mouths". If you are looking for a party place with lots of people, I recommend it.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Anna G.July 2015From RussiaVery cozy campsite, although very crowded. But also a lot of showers and toilets. Good beach - with boat rentals, catamarans. And also very close to the Aquapark.Traduzido automaticamente.
- strejček o.September 2014PositivosLocationNegativosterrible foodNot much in the off-seasonWe were disappointed. The only buffet with unhelpful service made us a completely burnt and inedible schnitzel and a completely raw and inedible trout.Other services /food shop or souvenir shop/ none.Wifi was not very good. The pitches for caravans were ridiculously small.Traduzido automaticamente.
- ieva b.August 2014PositivoslocationNegativosshowers - they are few, messy and uncomfortable, and when there are a lot of people there is no hot water leftnot worth staying inThe campsite was overcrowded, we could hardly find a place to park the camper, everyone was crowded around each other, but the worst thing was the showers. First of all, they are really too few for a campsite of this size, in the morning you had to stand in a long queue, when you got to the end of the... queue you had to wash under cold water, and what was even more annoying was that there was nowhere to put things and rubles, there wasn't even the smallest hook for hanging them up, you had to put them just on the floor, which wasn't particularly heavy. The only plus point is the beautiful location and the lake. I also noticed that the toilet is equipped with a potty and a special toilet cover for small children, which is a plus for those travelling with small children (although we take these things for our child when we travel)Traduzido automaticamente.
- Richard M.August 2014PositivosThe helpfulness of the reception staff.NegativosToilet cleanliness . Noise level in Camp after night time. Division of the camp into family and juvenileI imagined more from the camp of the yearEven the helpful staff couldn't save it. We mostly just camp for the night. Otherwise, we travel around and come back in the evening. In the evening, there was only lukewarm water. You can only catch wifi within 10m of the toilets. The toilets are covered with poulam so we experienced that 10 years ago.... And we can't talk about nighttime quiet. If this was the camp of 2013, I don't want to see the others. For the price of 25 Euros and sleeping in a tent we have a nice apartment in the Czech Republic. And for the price of 9 Euros you have a rented El boat in the Alps in Austria and not a pedal boat and I think that the salaries in Austria are different than in Slovakia. And I'd probably divide the camp into those who want to grill. For someone to grill in the morning at noon and in the evening is a bit too much.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Huňáček P.August 2014Positivos- location and surrounding nature - friendly and helpful reception staffNegativos- noise - dirt - insufficient care of sanitary facilities - exorbitant prices in some buffetsQuite disappointing :(Under the impression that this is the camp of 2013, we expected much more and were happy to visit the camp. We were only there for one night and were even more excited to leave the campground. It is very far from quiet here and you have to take into account the incredible noise, I would not be afraid... of the word "brothel", which is there during the night hours. If you want to sleep in peace, I definitely do not recommend this place, even earplugs did not help. This place is also far from a clean environment and from about 8 o'clock in the evening nobody bothers to clean the sanitary facilities and it looks like that, not to mention the morning vomit in the sinks and toilets. The surroundings of the campsite and Liptovská Mara itself are fine. However, the camp beach is littered with rubbish, cigarette butts, dog excrements, plastic bags, etc., nothing idyllic and attractive. Prices at the local stalls and buffets vary from a thieving €2.40 for a small portion of chips, which will only irritate your stomach, not fill you up, to €6 for a 560g pizza, which will feed two people just fine. The same goes for drinks - some places will try to stretch you and rip you off, others will get you a solid penny. The staff at the reception is friendly and cool, which, apart from the surrounding nature, is probably the only positive of this place, otherwise it's not worth much and we definitely know we'll avoid this place next time.Traduzido automaticamente.
- anton k.August 2013so here I go every year it's here super on where to go vela attractions near is tatralandia helpful staff pleasant environment:-)))Traduzido automaticamente.
- Janne B.August 2012I think this site is over hill - sanitaires are in a bad condition (shower curtain = garbage sack), wifi is hardly working and very slow and will not be fixed during six days, electricity is not everywhere awaylable. Different fom advertising on website, there is no convenience store, the fast food and... even the beer at the snack bars is awful and expensive. However, staff is friendly and lake and scenery are very nice. Especially with regard to the price/benefit ratio (> 20 € for family with tent) I can't recommend this site.Traduzido automaticamente.
