- Bart v.June 2023PositivosSpacious, new and clean apartment. Friendly staff, but not listening or doing something with te noise complaints.NegativosThe mattresses of the beds are thin, too soft and have a dent in it. So these could be better.New, clean and spacious apartment. Too bad there was a lot of construction noiseA lot of noise of the construction near the appartement but also the pool. This was not communicated with us beforehand. We also had to pay for two small cats which are very clean. Other guests with huge dogs pay less relatively. Expected some leniency or discount because of the noise complaints.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Thomas R.August 2021PositivosLocation by the lake and the mountainsNegativosEverything okHave a nice weekendWe were here for a weekend with the family. We all enjoyed it very much. The site is very well maintained and wasn't too crowded, even in high season. There are of course plenty of opportunities for hiking, mountain biking and enjoying nature. If you like swimming in the lake, you can reach it quickly.... We will gladly come again, but next time we will stay at the other hotel (spa-Schluga) because of the really great wellness area. You can also use it as a Seecamping guest, but you have to drive about 5km to get there.Traduzido automaticamente.Respondido de EuroParcs Pressegger See October 27, 2021Thank you very much for your review! - Claudia B.July 2021Positivos---NegativosLake much too far away Directly on the noisy highway Staff not fully oriented Restaurant impression very averageATTENTION--not at the lake!!!!We chose this campsite because we were looking forward to stand up paddling every day, going hiking and being in pure nature.
When we arrived, we were more than disappointed. The campsite was right next to a noisy highway. The lake was not 200m from the campsite as stated but at least 800m. With 2 children,... a dog and 2 SUPs, it really wasn't easy to walk this distance back and forth several times a day.
We were told that you can leave the SUPs there, but you can't secure them!
The staff at reception were not very guest-oriented and not really friendly.
The place didn't seem inviting at all and neither did the restaurant.
We didn't want to stay, a place that promises so much and delivers so little.
The pool photos are made to look much bigger.
The pitches were all very dark.
For us, it was not an arrival with a feel-good factor and that is part of camping for us.
The pitch was not fully booked, we left and looked for a really nice pitch "right by the lake".
So far we have not received any courtesy. Our entire deposit of 200 euros was withheld.
We hope the money will be put to good useTraduzido automaticamente. - Erik S.June 2021PositivosSpace, staff and and andNegativosThe store was closed in JuneGreat stayI usually write reviews after my departure. But here I didn't want to miss the opportunity to share my impressions in good time.
First of all: 5 days were planned, but on the 2nd day we extended our stay by 7 days. We had a really great pitch (no. 167) with water, waste water and electricity. The campsite... itself is laid out on several levels, which gave us a really great feeling. We have never visited such a lovingly maintained site. Sanitary facilities, green areas, restaurant, the campsite's own lido, everything was just great.
The staff were also always friendly and helpful. The beach bar and restaurant are well worth a visit. There is so much to explore and discover. We went on many bike rides and hikes from here.
Rumor has it that the place has been sold to an investor. We very much hope that the great flair will nevertheless be retained.
We would love to come back and can recommend SEECAMPING Schluga without reservationTraduzido automaticamente. - Coco K.September 2020PositivosThe location, wonderful nature and tranquillity! - Dirk S.July 2020PositivosClean, well-kept and organized campsite. Nothing was missing and if there were any questions, they were promptly resolved to our satisfaction. Friendly staff from the janitor to the cleaning lady and reception.Negativosthe footpath to the Pressegersee is a little longer than the 200 meters indicated in the brochure.Great placeWe were there for the second year in summer 2020. The pitches are all on allocated plots surrounded by mature trees, hedges and shrubs. I think that's very nice! So you have enough privacy. The sanitary facilities in the south sanitary building were completely renovated and re-tiled in 2020. The lido... can be used free of charge via the private Schluga beach. All in all, we can say that this is an excellent campsite. There were no complaints for us, quite the opposite. We would love to come back!Traduzido automaticamente.
- Andreas T.July 2020Positivosclose to the lake, good cycling and hiking toursNegativosthe host and the pastries in the morningStay at home in AustriaA beautiful campsite nice and quiet, clean and very nice staff! we arrived in the pouring rain, then set up provisionally and then wanted to eat at 2 pm, which was apparently annoying for the hosts! (to the waitress - I like the sand best) no matter! we spent wonderful days in hermagor!unfortunately... every day in the morning the pastries were so baked - very very crispy!!! maybe the baker will learn again! now to the sanitary facilities - they were really very clean, if there hadn't been such boys (8-15 year olds), whose parents apparently didn't teach them how to leave the toilet behind after the big business! but as I said we will certainly be back!Traduzido automaticamente.
- Benedikt N.July 2020PositivosHeated swimming pool, great bathing lake, good restaurant on the lake (Alois), very well-kept grounds, friendly staff, spacious pitches, well-kept sanitary facilitiesNegativosActivities are advertised, but almost all take place at the other associated site (approx. 4km away). Unfortunately, a shuttle is not offered. The store on site (and the only one nearby) has a very limited range of products. The street can be heard quite loudly. But that's not the operator's fault. It's due to the loud motorcycles and the half-stars who have to show how hard they have it in the toilet on the straight road.Great campsite for many, but not quite cheapThe pitch is great, probably the best we've had in a long time. The weather was very bad on one day (only rain with heavy rain), puddles only formed on the pitch for a short time.
The staff are very nice and helpful. The swimming pool is great but the sunbathing area has no shade. You should think about... an umbrella here.
The boss does his rounds on his bike in the morning and asks how you are and informs you about special offers.
All in all, it's really great, but it's also one of the most expensive places we've ever stayed. But the price/performance ratio is just right.
The restaurant on site isn't great, but it's quite good. The boss is a nice guy, but can be a bit moody under stress. Don't be put off, he comes back two minutes later and is the best host.
We'll definitely be back when we go to Carinthia.Traduzido automaticamente. - Bianca R.July 2020PositivosThe dog is allowed in the lake.NegativosDog bathing area at the lake very small.A wonderful week's vacationVery nice welcome at the reception, small market for everything you need and fresh bread every day. Nice pool and bathing area by the lake. Gastronomy on site with good "alley sales". Everything very clean and well-kept.Traduzido automaticamente.
- André W.July 2019Great place, moderate cleanliness in the mobile homeWe stayed in mobile home 101/1 at Schluga Seecamping from 27.07.-03.08. The site with pool and relatively short walk to the PressegerSee is beautiful and offers everything you need. The restaurant and street vendors were good and even the baked frozen pizzas were delicious. Unfortunately, we were a bit... unlucky with our mobile home. It was super dirty! The kitchenette, the floor and even the cutlery in the drawer were not clean. It was not a good idea to put a suitcase under the bed in the rather cramped bedrooms - it was totally filthy. A pillow that had fallen down when making the bed was covered in dirty dust flakes and was no longer usable. A roll of household paper placed on the kitchen counter also got a dirty edge, just by putting it down. It was possible to restore it to an acceptable condition by giving it a thorough clean, but any help with the drainer, which was covered in mold, came too late. The dirt under the beds could not be removed with the only broom available. The fact that the light above the hob didn't work, the plastic shower tray had a crack that pinched my foot and the windows couldn't be darkened were only minor issues. I can't entirely confirm the friendliness of the staff either, they were nice but not a word too much was said and therefore only the rehearsed information was passed on. There was no advice or information about current situations and when we checked out they forgot to return our deposit, so we had to think about it ourselves. We will avoid Schluga in future.Traduzido automaticamente.

- Rüdiger K.June 2019PositivosGreat swimming pool and showers without annoying interruptions.NegativosRoad noise (not everywhere)A great campsiteHave been here three times in the last 10 years. Road noise can be heard in the lower area, especially the nasty and speeding motorcyclists. Otherwise quiet. Very suitable for children. The sanitary facilities are a bit older, but always clean and fully functional. The water in the showers runs without restriction. The new, very nice swimming pool is very pleasantly heated.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Christian C.June 2019PositivosFriendly committed cleanNegativosWe told the owner directly and he immediately took care of the implementationTop place in June 2019We got a pitch here at short notice. We were initially confused that we were booked at Seecamping, but that turned out to be a stroke of luck. The restaurant at Seecamping is very good and the owner tours the site 2-3 times a week to check on things. We were completely satisfied there.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Nicole B.August 2018PositivosA true Eldorado for leisure activities - swimming, cycling, mountain walking, climbing and so on and so forth...Negativosnone found ...Great placeWe've been there a few times and have been thrilled every time. There is now also a small pool on site and you don't necessarily have to walk to the lake to be able to swim (the 200 m is very optimistic). The pitches are laid out in terraces and so there is no feeling of overcrowding. (We were there at the end of August and at Whitsun) The team is very nice and friendlyTraduzido automaticamente.

- Jens S.September 2017PositivosLocation on the mountain in the Alps, great excursion possibilities, cleanliness, friendliness, surroundings, pitch sizes, activitiesNegativosThe bathing area for dogs is far too small, most of the lakeside path runs along the roadgreat place, fantastic landscape - friendly and cleanWe were on the site for the first time in September 2017. The journey over the Windische Höhe was feasible with the motorhome, but I wouldn't want to go down there with a trailer. But it says so in the directions. We were late - 7:20 p.m. - a quick call to the site revealed that we had to hurry, but... someone was still there until 8:00 p.m. When we arrived, a brief but friendly "hello" and we were told to look for a pitch and then we would register tomorrow. In the low season, there was virtually free choice of pitch and so we were spoiled for choice. As we have our well-behaved Labrador with us, we like to be a bit quiet. We quickly found what we were looking for on a small hill close to the forest and pitch 228 is really spacious. The other pitches are also spacious. Water was nearby, as was electricity. However, a three-pole adapter is still required - there is currently no direct CEE socket. We parked the first residential socket and the second car too. Really a generous SP. It was just getting dark, so we took the dog out and headed into the forest. Everything was fine and after the long journey we had a little drink in the caravan. The registration the next day confirmed the friendly impression of the staff and the well-kept site in the forest - a great place! There was plenty of information material and lots of tips. The sanitary buildings were absolutely clean and well maintained at all times. The showers are spacious and there is a small garbage can in each shower - very handy for handkerchiefs, Q-tips, etc. You enjoy showering there and don't feel cramped. The toilets don't have a lid but I find that practical - everything is clean and tidy here too. Sanitary facilities are very important to us. There are numerous opportunities to visit the fantastic mountain pastures in the area. We liked the Watschiger and Egger Alm the best. Friendly operators and staff, delicious food and our dog was even allowed to retrieve dummies at the small alpine lakes on request. A great area for dummy sport - retrieving with the dog. In general, we noticed the friendliness and hospitality in Carinthia. Sometimes we were almost alone in the mountains - simply great with and without a dog! We also went to Lake Presseg, but not for a swim. There is a bathing area for dogs - it is also marked on the campsite. However, the spot is very small and the dog can't swim 10m, let alone retrieve dummies from the water properly. If there are ten dogs at the bathing area in summer, there are no more apples on the ground. So it's better to take your dog to a stream or an alpine lake and ask nicely if the dog is allowed in. The place is a clear recommendation and we would love to come back. In the HS the place is certainly well filled but I think even then the sanitary facilities are always clean. You can just tell that the site is looked after and with heart and soul.Traduzido automaticamente.
