- Heinz M.June 2022PositivosVery friendly reception and organization. The beautiful pool area, the well-kept beach, cashless paymentNegativosThe space for mobile homes right next to the road is far too noisy. There is no noise barrier and a strong speed limit on the road. Sanitary facilities too small but clean.Motorhome space much too loud otherwise everything is fineWe were there with the motorhome.
The staff are all very friendly. Pitch is partly shady, partly sunny and level.
Sanitary facilities too small in the season. Only 3 showers and
4 toilets, no urinal! The beach is very close!
Unfortunately it is extremely noisy at night due to the directly adjacent main road. What a pity!
Something urgently needs to be invested!!!Traduzido automaticamente. - Ulrike K.September 2021PositivosNice location for excursions, clean sanitary facilities, delicious restaurantNegativosIn the past, the space for the Womos was behind on the meadow where the glamping tents are now, which was great 👍now the Womos have to stand next to the road, which is terrible in terms of noise and dirt - you get the feeling they want to scare away the Womo vacationers with it - the WW are also allowed to stand quieter 🙄Noise almost unbearableYou have the feeling as a Womo vacationer not to be wanted - Womo places right next to the thoroughfare and on dusty sandy ground - it used to be different 🙄 Mobile homes are "in"Traduzido automaticamente.

- Jürg E.May 2017PositivosSensational wellness pool areaNegativosRoad noisePine forest bungalow/tented tent camping with top pool facilityIn a very dense pine forest where there are many bungalows, you can find rental tents from various tour operators. If you don't want to stand in the dark of the pine trees, there are only a few pitches close to the connecting road, on which the trucks speed past at 80km/h. This separates the site from the beach! - Michaela G.August 2016PositivosCar-free campsite, children can play undisturbed between the rental propertiesNegativosbusy road between the beach and the campsiteBeautiful car-free campsiteWe stayed at the campsite for a week in August, renting a mobile home from Gebetsroiter. The campsite team speaks almost exclusively Italian, very little English and hardly any German. The campsite has central barbecue areas with wooden furniture where you can sit comfortably and enjoy a meal. The sanitary... facilities were very clean, we didn't use the pool, we only went swimming on the beautiful sandy beach. There were often hawkers with all sorts of things to buy on the beach. The sand is perfect for building sandcastles. You can also hire sun loungers there, but in my opinion they are completely overpriced, so we used the sun lounger towel we had brought with us and our own parasol. Incidentally, we were allowed to take the prayer umbrellas that came with the mobile home to the beach ;-) The whirlpools were certainly great, but we had children (10 and 11) with us and they weren't allowed in, so they weren't particularly attractive for us either. We didn't use the swimming pool area in any other way either. The entertainment made an effort, but I have experienced much better. The food in the restaurant was fine, and the price was ok.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Familie B.May 2016PositivosClean.nice pool.free wifi.nice staff.close to the beach.NegativosWhirlpool only from 14 years is exaggerated.road between camp and beach.Optimal, satisfied , but....We, a family of 5 with children aged 10,11+13, had rented a lodge suite at Whitsun 2016.the facility+accommodation was perfect for us and also the staff very nice and eager.the only disturbing thing was road that separates the place from the beach(Lots of traffic+loud!!!).Nevertheless, we would come... again!!! The fact that our very nice contact person from Selectcamp is accommodated in a standard tent (without toilet + shower) directly on the street (separated only by fence + shrubs) was frightening for us.We find this an imposition for our health and wish that more consideration is given to their own employees who spend several months here.we would gladly rent a mobile home (or tent) there again.there are also accommodations that are further away from the road.we cannot speak for WoMo.Traduzido automaticamente.
- T. G.July 2015PositivosThe Maremma - simply fantastic. Good location as a starting point for excursions (if you were sure to have a decent parking space afterwards).NegativosI don't know where to start... see comment....Maremma Deluxe!Maremma Deluxe? Orbetello - a dream, again and again! Club del Sole Orbetello camping village - for the second and last time The drive to Orbetello is now much more pleasant than before, the roads have been significantly improved. The campsite was a big disappointment this time. There are of course a... few positive things: the whirlpool area is impressive. Delicious food in the restaurant, store very well stocked and with good opening hours. Beach expensive but well maintained and therefore worth the money in our opinion. The mobile home was spacious and well equipped with a bidet, fridge/icebox, microwave, gas hob and extractor fan. The TV was really cute, it was so small, but of course that doesn't matter on vacation. It just looked a bit lost - the mount and the space were intended for more. There are also sockets for German plugs - no adapter required! However, there were few sockets, tip: take a distributor/plug strip with you! The air conditioning was powerful, but very inconveniently mounted in an alcove. If you also want to cool the bedroom(s), you should bring a fan for the air distribution, otherwise no direct cooling of the bedroom is possible by adjusting the slats to the bottom/side stop. Unfortunately, neither of the two large double doors to the veranda had a mosquito screen, so these doors could not be used for ventilation. We know this better from other mobile homes - also in Orbetello. The Wi-Fi proved to be very slow, fortunately there was another open Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi was then upgraded during our stay. Unfortunately, the two Maremma Deluxe mobile homes are positioned in such a way that the sound of the entertainment - and there is plenty of it! - and especially the bass booms through the entire mobile home, including the bedroom. Clearly, if you are looking for peace and quiet, this is not the right mobile home for you. As is usual for mobile homes in our experience, there was also space for our car next to our mobile home. However, we were not allowed to use it, but had to park outside. This was a real problem as we were traveling with our oldie, which has to be parked in a private (single) space. We were not given a reason why we were not allowed to use the parking space when we asked, and the management was not willing to budge. This had a further disadvantage for us: when our car was no longer parked on the pitch next to our mobile home, many guests took a shortcut and some ended up on the terrace of our mobile home... The reception staff were always friendly and committed (but helpless), only one employee was ostentatiously bored. According to the description "always included in the price", the Maremma Deluxe mobile home ("super-luxury with a camping atmosphere!") should include: - Club del Sole shopping bag: we didn't see it until the end of our stay - beach towels changed every other day: no beach towels, then of course no change - sun loungers at the swimming pool: were subject to a charge - a refreshing gift: couldn't be found either - Wi-Fi: see above - daily cleaning: not a single cleaning in the entire week, or of course we cleaned ourselves. Accidental? Fraud? We don't know. Because there was no daily cleaning, there was of course no spare toilet paper (of course, with daily cleaning as in the hotel, someone looks for it during cleaning and delivers it!) However, we did get the toilet paper after some discussion. I hope nobody thinks we're arrogant now, but on our first vacation after several years I just don't feel like having such discussions... Conclusion: for 255 euros in high season (no, not per week - per day!) the mobile home is hopelessly overpriced in our opinion. We paid € 1,271.00 for a week's accommodation without tourist tax, without beach fee and (of course) without meals and have to say: we have had mobile homes for about a third of this price and these vacations were beautiful and, above all, relaxing... Fortunately, our trip took us to several hotels in northern Italy, in each of which the customer is king.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Alexandra W.July 2015PositivosBeautiful area, well-kept clean placeNegativos-3 out of 5 pools for children under 14 "strictly forbidden" - Parking not at the pitch - Animation + miniclub not very motivatedBeautiful, but....We are currently spending our vacation here for 2 weeks. The campsite is really lovely, clean and well-kept. There is a paddling pool for the very little ones and a large pool, but my daughter can't stand in it at the age of 8 and is therefore only allowed in with us. In contrast to the comment above,... the beautiful 3 whirlpools are "STRICTLY" forbidden for children under 14 (!!!), for whatever reason. This is also meticulously monitored, which is why the whirlpools are always almost empty and the large pool is overcrowded, as 90% of the campers are of course families... The restaurant is ok, very good pizza. Unfortunately you can't leave your car on the pitch, there are some covered parking spaces, but as these are always full, my husband no longer wants to use our new car since he got hold of one. As there are hardly any bus connections, we unfortunately have to miss out on the many sights in the region. There is a mini club (my daughter is usually keen on it) but when we see the bored little group sitting around in the dry sand on the beach, even she loses interest, which is a shame. Apart from that, the beach is very nice. We are still thinking about whether we should sit out the remaining 10 days or go home beforehand, what a shame, next year I will plan my hard-earned vacation more carefully...Traduzido automaticamente.
- Achim S.June 2015PositivosClose to the sea and beautiful beach, pleasant size, nice pool areaNegativosThe main road adjacent to the motorhome pitches is often very noisy. You have to cross the busy road to get to the beachIf only it weren't for the road ...Basically a very nice campsite, but the adjacent road is a real nuisance. On the one hand, it's noisy due to the frequent and fast passing vehicles (cars, trucks, motorcycles and scooters, the speed limit here is actually 50 km/h, a speed camera would be a great source of income), on the other hand,... the sea and beach are so close, but you have to cross the road to get there. There are two crosswalks, large warning signs and speed limit signs - but the traffic is reckless. Of course, children can only go to the sea if they are accompanied - even if it's only a few steps through a mini forest. And the beach is wonderful! If you like, you can rent the usual Italian parasols with 2 sun loungers each in the Balnearo section (first row for Cp guests €25 per day), but to the right and left of it there is plenty of spiaggia space where you can set up your own parasol. If you don't have one yet, you can buy one from the beach vendor. There is also a kiosk with a drinks and sweets vending machine. There is also a shower for everyone. If you're not interested in sandy feet, you can also relax in the large polo area on the campsite, which also has a jacuzzi if you're interested. Loungers here cost €2 a day, but you can also use your own towel. - Otherwise, everything you need for a proper campsite is available. The store is quite large, the restaurant is okay, there is evening entertainment (in Italian) and a small playground. - The sanitary facilities at the motorhome site are okay and clean, but it's a shame that the toilets (with toilet seats and toilet paper dispensers, no urinals) are located opposite the communal washbasin facilities and the showers are in the next room. Incidentally, there is a more modern sanitary building on the other side of the campsite towards the lagoon (with individual wash cubicle and children's sanitary facilities). - The camper van pitches are right next to the road, as there used to be additional parking spaces for the bungalow guests. Now the camper vans keep out the noise. The trees are fairly newly planted and provide little shade. Overall, however, it is a nice site that is one of the better options.Traduzido automaticamente.

- Urs C.September 2014Positivos- Despite long queues at reception, the staff are always friendly. - Inexpensive with an ACSI card - Beautiful beachNegativos- Very noisy pitches for WOMOs - Unfriendly and incompetent staff in the restaurant - WIFI more than poorPure disappointmentLong waiting times at check-in and check-out; the WOMO pitches are very noisy as they are located directly on the busy Strada Provinciale and incorrect meals in the restaurant are dismissed with translation errors in the menu. - Kathrin E.August 2014PositivosClose to the beachNegativosImpossible pitches for caravans. What was a campsite again? A collection of wooden huts????Does not deliver what it promisesWe wanted to spend our vacation here with a caravan in August 2014 and had previously checked for an available pitch by phone. No problem, we had space was the motto. When we wanted to check in after a 24-hour journey full of anticipation, we were hit with a blow when we were allocated a pitch!!!! At... 30° in the shade, only pitches without shade, so small that there was no room for a tent or awning. The chemical toilet was disposed of in the open air through a grate. Why are there no real photos of the WW pitches on the Internet? The toilets in the restaurant were a disaster. The whole package for about 50 euros a day. Last but not least, the dream pitch was right next to a busy road. In short, we checked out again immediately after checking in!!!! We then drove on to Rochette and were lucky. But we only really noticed it after one night. Maybe this is a nice place for renting a mobile home (there are also enough meaningful pictures here). The staff remained friendly. However, you don't get far with German and the English was poor.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Ernst L.June 2014PositivosVery beautiful region - well suited for excursions in the surrounding area - beautiful lively places on the peninsula -NegativosVery noisy . long waiting times at reception - please check rates carefully and work out what it costs yourself beforehand. - Josef G.June 2014PositivosClean place, prices OK, beautiful beach, nice location, well-kept accommodation.NegativosA bit dusty, underground semmlen, cheap animation, excessive pool supervisionNeat place near the sea with a beautiful beachWe (2 adults, 3 children aged 11, 9 and 6) stayed on the site in June 2014 together with a family friend (2 adults, 2 children aged 14 and 9) in two adjacent Gebetsroither mobile homes. The site is well-kept, but very dusty. Not enough green. The Gebetsroither mobile homes are set up in rows, too close... together for my taste. However, they are really clean and well-maintained and, according to the caretakers, are only here for the second season. However, the size of the standard mobile homes for 5 people is not satisfactory. The beds in particular are very cramped, even in the 3-bed children's room. It should be better in the luxury models. The restaurant on site is "middle class", the prices are OK. The rolls from the store are subterranean, tasting of nothing but paper. They probably don't know salt etc. here. The beach is very nice, but unfortunately only accessible via the busy main road. Smaller children cannot be left alone there. The pool area is well maintained, but the sunbathing areas are very cramped. There are also two whirlpools, but for some unknown reason these may only be used from the age of 12. In general, they have very exaggerated ideas, not only that you are not allowed to jump off the edge, which is OK, but also that you are not allowed to lick ice cream in the whole area. And they keep a meticulous eye on it! If you break this rule twice, you will be removed from the area - we saw this happen more than once. In the surrounding area, we visited the tuff town of San Gimignano and the hot sulphur springs of Saturnia, both of which are highly recommended. The harbor town of Porto Santo Stefano, on the other hand, is not recommended. Loud, dirty, no nice promenade, the restaurants we went to were not exactly the best. The prices for the crossing to the island of Giglio are completely out of line. Orbetello itself is more recommendable for an evening meal. There are no attractions on the beach (with the exception of the many beach vendors), but at least there is a small bar. The staff were friendly and could communicate in English. I think you can expect that German is not spoken throughout in this area. The animation is a bit cheap, but we don't attach any importance to that anyway. At least it's not annoying, so that wasn't a problem for us.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Stefanie A.May 2014Vacation between localsWhen we arrived and communicated with our hands and feet, as English was not really good and German not at all, we were given a choice of 7 pitches. The campsite is very large but unfortunately 90% of the pitches are occupied by permanent campers and bungalows. This site is only suitable for normal campers... in the off-season. According to the activity manager, there are 3000 guests on site in the high season from June to August. 2 days before departure 4 of the neighbors came (permanent campers). The peace and quiet was over in no time! Most of the pitches are under pine trees, so everything is full of needles and sand. The campsite has a supermarket (normal prices for IT) and a restaurant. The food is excellent. Unfortunately there is only a large selection of pizzas, otherwise a small selection. Prices fully ok. The sanitary facilities are clean, new and large. The beach is a dream. Beautiful sandy beach and very shallow sea. Unfortunately you are totally isolated without a car! We wanted to take the bus to Orbetello for the market. We were there on time at 7:15, but there was no bus. When asked, they said no bus this season. There is exactly 1 bus a day to Orbetello at 7:18 and this only goes from June to August - a cheek! I can only recommend avoiding this campsite in the high season!Traduzido automaticamente.
- Gabi G.August 2013We were accommodated in a mobile home. It was a very nice vacation. The supermarket and restaurant prices are quite normal, not particularly overpriced. Of course it's not particularly quiet in the evenings, but you know that and that's what you want when you book a campsite with entertainment!!! I would... particularly like to praise the great entertainment team, who were all very, very funny and eager to please. I have rarely experienced such a great team. The joy of their work was literally written all over their faces!!! The fact that most of it was in Italian was a positive thing! If I wanted German animation, I would go on vacation in Germany and not in Italy! Our children couldn't speak a word of Italian, but after just a few days they were able to sing along to all the songs in Italian and were fully integrated. Children can communicate very well with their hands and feet! All in all a wonderful vacation! Thank you!!!Traduzido automaticamente.
- Ralph R.July 2013The "restaurant" on the site is far too expensive, not big enough portions and poor quality. The site is relatively small and well maintained. A lot of Italian guests, so the noise level is high until very late in the evening. The campsite itself does not adhere to its own specified quiet times. For... example, from 13:00 - 14:30 the lawn by the pool is mowed and cleaned with a leaf blower. Lunchtime rest is actually from 13:30 to 15:00. If you can't speak Italian, you can hardly communicate properly as the staff are not familiar with other languages. Even with English it is difficult. The pool area is new and very nicely laid out. There is always animation everywhere. Those looking for peace and quiet can hardly escape it.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Norbert R.August 2012It's a pity to have to give such a rating for a well-modernized complex with a beautifully designed pool, wonderful beach and pleasantly wooded campsite. The staff have great difficulty communicating to international standards. The best thing to do here is to speak Italian, then you will also be treated... preferentially in the restaurant. This is incomprehensible with so many Dutch, French and Germans. The evening program is adapted to Italian tastes and therefore not suitable for the "actual" international clientele. The additional costs are enormous: beach loungers cost money, pool loungers cost money and the supermarket is very overpriced, which makes shopping in Albina unavoidable. A real shame for such a beautiful location.Traduzido automaticamente.
