When I entered the site with the camper and had almost finished settling in, I realized that I had forgotten my camping power extension.
To cut a long story short, I was allowed to look for... a new pitch with a closer plug-in point.
I thought that was great and very accommodating.
The sanitary facilities were a dream!
There is also a very nice integrated playground, a small goat enclosure and a restaurant, which was really tasty.
The small beach, although very stony, invites you to relax and dream (my favorite place on the site).
Hiking and biking is highly recommended here!

However, if you don't have a car on site, there are no nice walking or hiking trails from the campsite. In addition, the few paths are "reserved" for cyclists/mountain bikers. The majority of them are so reckless that you have to constantly jump to the side and can only keep your dog on a lead for a short time, for example. The nearby Sobec campsite offers considerably more infrastructure all around, but the campsite itself is otherwise far too impersonal and far too big for my taste. The road into Bled is a disaster, especially in the last third...queues of cars struggle along the narrow road, pedestrians cross narrow sidewalks and it stinks of petrol.
1 week on this campsite would have been enough. When the campsite is full it gets a bit crowded at the pool.
Unfortunately there is no store on site and you have to go to the nearest town to... do your shopping. No problem for us by car, but there's quite a climb to get there by bike. There is a bakery that comes to the site in the morning, but you should be early, otherwise there is hardly any choice.
With large vehicles you should take a comfort pitch, as the standard pitches are quite small.
The quality of the restaurant is good, but the staff are completely overwhelmed. The access road is wide. There is a traffic circle at the end of it, so you can leave at any time if you don't like it here or the site is fully booked. The check-in went quickly and smoothly (English and German were... no problem). We were allowed to choose our final pitch.
The pitches have electricity connections and optional water connections. There is also a waste disposal station on the pitch. Fresh water can also be filled up free of charge.
Leisure activities are available for various age groups. There is a large playground for the little ones. There is a small skating facility with ramps for teens and tweens. Presumably all age groups will enjoy the pool. Various activities such as canyoning, paragliding and rafting can also be booked from the campsite.
Speaking of rafting, the campsite is located directly on the beautiful River Sava, which is fed by the glaciers of the Triglav (the national symbol of Slovenia). The Sava is unbelievably clear and does not need to shy away from comparison with the Soca.
You walk about 2.5 km to the lake. It took us about half an hour and we found this absolutely reasonable. There is also a large supermarket about halfway there.
The site itself sells bread in the morning and dessert to go in the evening. There is also a small restaurant, but we didn't try it.
The wash houses are very modern and always clean.
We only missed washing cubicles in the sanitary facilities, but this is probably due to the small size of the campsite.
The WLAN is very good.
At the beginning, a maximum of 20 pitches were occupied and we found the echo from the road relatively loud. The fuller the campsite became, the less reverberation could be heard. At night you couldn't hear the street at all.Traduzido automaticamente.
