As a campsite guest, you can enter the lakeside pool free of charge and if you are there in the morning, you will most likely... have a spot in the shade of one of the large trees. There are plenty of shops in the nearby Coop, which is a 5-minute walk away.
Even in bad weather there is plenty to do, e.g. the Sempach ornithological station, the visitor center of the Nottwil Paraplegic Center, the beach bar in Nottwil, fine restaurants in Sempach, etc.
The nearby lakeside restaurant, which as far as I know is not part of the campsite, offers a nice selection of fine menus (not necessarily cheap) and the selection of ice creams is tempting.
