Great little cozy campsite
The campsite is very well laid out but has everything a good campsite needs. A small coffee shop, great sanitary facilities. And a wide range of sporting activities. You can hire boats there and it's a short walk to the Finno Canal. It's not overloaded with luxury but has everything you need for a comfortable camping vacation.

The site is in a really idyllic location, at the very end of the small village, right on the canal. The site includes a meadow orchard which offers really tasty apples at the end of the summer. The plots are large enough and there are few of them, so it is advisable to call in advance. The paths on the... site are short, which is very pleasant. I'm glad you had a good time, but that wasn't our campsite, it was Campüinglatz Triangel in Schleswig-Holstein: https://www.camping.info/deutschland/schleswig-holstein/campingplatz-triangel-18182. Maybe you'll come and visit us sometime. You can drop off your garbage 24 hours a day,... we don't have a beach but at least a jetty from which you can jump into the cool water.

The CP is about 10 km from the boat lift. I spent the night there so that I could visit the boat lift in the morning and then drive on. Perfectly adequate for one night. The site is clean and tidy. There are 2 showers and 2 toilets and 2 washbasins in one room. When showering, you undress and dress in the room that is not separated from the toilets and washbasins. The place was not very busy during my visit, so I was alone in the shower. Otherwise friendly and accommodating. There is a snack bar in the evening, with grilled sausage and potato salad, which was unfortunately sold out when I was there:-(

Found the place by chance, new operator crew who are all nice. The simple camping hut was freshly renovated and lovingly furnished. We were able to cook and relax in the camping hut in bad weather, where the wood stove provided a cozy atmosphere all day long. The snack bar is only moderately equipped, there is no hot food, but delicious espresso, cuppuccino, etc. from a real portafilter machine (rarely found in Brandenburg) and homemade cakes.

The last visit prompted us to write this review. The campsite is ideal for people passing through who don't want to... stay longer than one night. For visitors wishing to stay longer than one day, this review is for you. The first day you will enjoy the idyllic location and the peace and quiet. You set up your tent and look forward to the quiet days you will spend at this campsite. From the second day onwards, you will notice more and more details on the campsite. No matter where you are on the campsite, be it in the recreation building, in the toilets or at the entrance, you will always find a new sign with the rules of the campsite. When brushing your teeth, you immediately get a guilty conscience because a sign at the washbasin points out that the fresh water and waste water prices in Brandenburg are at top level. This makes you think about whether you should only shower every three days. If you go to the bathroom behind a closed toilet door, you are immediately confronted with other rules of the campsite, such as that you must not turn the wheels on the grass when parking your car, that the wheels of the car must not spin when the grass is wet and that if they do, the groundsman must be called immediately for help. It is also pointed out that waste must be separated in accordance with the campsite rules. This starts with the green dot, glass, putrescible items for the compost, food leftovers for animals, through to residual waste, cardboard and paper. This must be treated with respect. But the resident moles don't seem to care. Disposable barbecues are prohibited on the campsite. This is understandable because disposable barbecues do not have a stand and will therefore burn the grass when in use. We respect that as visitors. If you have a disposable barbecue with you, it is better to leave it cold and hire a barbecue from the campsite warden. The costs for this are not high. The rental barbecue is from a no-name brand, like the ones you get at the local petrol stations. Our barbecue is a technically sophisticated fire pit in terms of efficiency and space consumption called "Son of Hibachi". The working height of this barbecue is lower than that of the rental barbecue. The bag of our barbecue is the highlight. It shields heat up to 375° C. You can put the barbecue in the bag immediately after use and then stow it away. According to the instructions, the bag can also be used as a carpet pad while the barbecue is in use. In this way, the bag shields the heat from the barbecue from the surface on which it is placed. We also did this so as not to spoil the lawn. The campsite warden didn't like our technical achievement at all. He gave us a negatively emotionally charged monologue without giving us a chance to show him the miracle. With this situation, our feel-good climate had reached freezing point. Campsite visitors who had noticed this situation in passing presented their portable fire pits to the campsite warden in order to obtain the operating permit for their mobile fire pits for the "TriangleTourCamp" campsite. Incredibly beautiful small site with only 8 large pitches for caravans divided by hedges, but many tent pitches. The site and toilet and shower facilities are kept very clean. Canal is located directly at the site. Good hiking opportunities. Only 4.5 km to the interesting Niederfinow Shipwright's Works,... which is definitely worth a visit. Access can sometimes be a little tight as there are parking spaces along the access road just before the site, but staff are quick to find the owners of the cars so they can be moved if necessary.
