- Josef und Christa M.June 2022PositivosLarge pitches, close to the sea, supermarket and restaurants goodNegativosDuring the Whitsun vacations too long waiting time at check-in, much too loud, booming music at the beach pool and even on the beach. Totally unsuitable for those seeking peace and quiet. Crowds of people on the beach and at the beach pool.Campsite ratingBeen going to this place for 35 years, it got louder from year to year. Loud, disturbing music blaring on the beach and by the beach pool. Relaxation is not possible for those seeking peace and quiet. It's a shame how this campsite has changed. We will not be back.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Sandra L.July 2021PositivosDirect beach location and several poolsNegativosDog beachLarge campsite with many mobile homesWe stayed here as a family with a child and dog and were generally quite satisfied. We were able to swap the pitch we had actually booked for a quieter pitch without any problems. The restaurants on the site serve delicious food and there is a nice playground area for children with a large bouncy castle,... "bumper cars" and the like. However, you have to pay for all activities. The sanitary facilities were always clean and tidy.
The campsite is right on the beach. However, as we were traveling with our dog, we more or less had to leave the campsite to go to the dog beach, which is a bit off the beaten track. The beach itself is beautiful. But what we really disliked was the unpleasant treatment of dogs: If you wanted to go directly to the beach, you had a choice - either you pay for the fenced-in carree and are allowed to use 2 sun loungers, parasol and dog lounger with water bowl or you just lie on the beach sand by the water with a towel and WITHOUT(!!!) parasol! In any case, we were told this by the beach staff because we had used the sandy beach with our own sun loungers and parasol. In addition, dogs are only allowed in the water at certain times on the dog beach (from 7 pm to 9 am and from 1 pm to 3 pm in the scorching midday sun! - Animal welfare looks different). And what completely ruined our mood on the dog beach was a statement from a lifeguard who actually insisted that we were only allowed to go into the water with our dog in the area marked with a boyen of approx. 5 x 5 meters. The lady was not interested in the fact that there were children with swimming rings and air mattresses as well as dozens of other people with and without dogs and that there was hardly enough space in the marked area. Thank goodness we left the next day and won't be back!Traduzido automaticamente. - Hans F.September 2019Negativossee general commentCamping site in disco formatThis was the loudest campsite stay (in a mobile home) I have ever experienced in more than 20 years. The animation is like bodily harm in terms of volume and content. The lorries drive through the site every day regardless of the rest periods, as the supermarket is in completely the wrong place. Conclusion: never again Villagio San Francesco Caorle.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Patrick S.July 2019PositivosWater, waste water on site. Shade. Very clean sanitary facilities. On the beach.NegativosPartly young trees, which naturally have to grow first.Great campsiteWe were skeptical because of the negative reviews, but were pleasantly surprised. The staff were extremely friendly and very well organized. The sanitary facilities (in our area) were new, very nice and also very clean (there was always someone from the cleaning department to be seen). It may be that... other buildings are even older, but these are certainly also kept clean. We can't say anything about the pools as we were only by the sea. The pitches are large, mostly very shady, although new trees have been planted on some pitches, which naturally have to grow again. For us, with a 6-year-old daughter, it was almost perfect.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Gerhard E.June 2019PositivosCleanliness, proximity to the beautiful harbor town of Caorle, friendliness of the staff.NegativosPoor animation. Every comparably sized resort has a better volleyball court.Nice inexpensive place - poor animation and no volleyball possibleWe have been coming to this beautiful facility with our grandchildren for 5 years. We all enjoy playing volleyball, but what annoys us every year is the increasingly catastrophic condition of the "volleyball court". As with many of our mobile home neighbors, the condition of the court keeps us from using... it. This court is not even suitable for a game of badminton. It doesn't fit in at all with the otherwise beautiful and spacious ambience of San Francesco. We are disappointed every year when we come to this dingy corner. Funnily enough, people from outside the square occupy it all day at the weekend. and occupy it all day. We even often walk a long way to the "Pra delle Torry" to be able to play properly!!!!! .Traduzido automaticamente.
- Josef und Christa M.June 2019PositivosLarge pitches, friendly staff, clean sanitary facilities, good catering and overall it deserves 5 stars.NegativosOften too loud music during entertainment, on the beach and in the restaurants. The tennis court (concrete court) is not inviting to play.Excellent campsiteHave been going there for over 30 years. Unfortunately, this year (Whitsun vacation) the place was simply too loud and disturbing due to excessively loud music during the entertainment, in the restaurants and by the sea. The concrete tennis court is an imposition. Otherwise everything was great. We would love to come back, but the frequently annoying loud music needs to change.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Claudia F.June 2019PositivosVery friendly staff and very cleanNegativosNoneShort trip to CaorleHad a very nice time at the campsite with the motorhome, the pitches large, the sanitary facilities always clean, very friendly staff and price performance perfect! - Sabine A.May 2019PositivosNice and clean mobile homes from our provider Go4campNegativosWorn out, loveless, unkempt pool facilities, sunbeds on the beach overpricedDisappointedUnfortunately, perhaps due to the low season at the end of May, very unkempt. Pools are dirty and old - showers by the pools too. Lots of shells on the beach - 2 sunbeds + umbrella €14 per day - €84 per weekTraduzido automaticamente.
- Rudolph C.August 2018PositivosRestaurant Maxim and beach goodNegativosOutdated, unkempt, not for dogs that want to be on the beach not very cleanno 5 starsHello, We stayed at the campsite for a week in August with a caravan and 2 dogs and were unfortunately very disappointed. We booked in the dog compartment near the beach, as it would have been according to the site plan. But that wasn't the case, it was at the other end of the campsite. You already pay... a lot of money for the dog, then you are only allowed to go to the very small free dog beach (mixed with non-dog bathing guests) at certain times 13-15 and from 18 -10.00, cheek !!!! Unless I pay an extra €15 a day (depending on the season) for the separate sunbathing area, then the dog is allowed to be in this area all day, but only in the water at the specified times. That's not a dog beach for me! The pitch was not exactly clean, with broken glass. The sanitary facilities are outdated and not exactly clean (hair and bird droppings) and poorly lit which is not great in the evening or at dawn. Furthermore, the staff and the animators can not speak German or bad German although mostly Germans visit the campsite! PITCH in the dog compartment quickly under water during heavy thunderstorms and heavy rain. Pool facilities some very clean, others again not and cold The thing I can top is the beach, well maintained and beautiful, the pizza Maxim is excellent, the cafe / bar at the bazaar is very good! Not 5 stars, have seen others with 4/5 stars that were betterTraduzido automaticamente.
- Helmut R.September 2017PositivosCleaning staff is top,NegativosUnkempt facility, no service, mobile homes partly very outdated and no longer up to date,Outdated campsiteNo service, we had to look for the mobile home ourselves. Unkempt outside area, wild grass around the mobile homes, mowing the lawn is probably a foreign word for them. Mobile home totally outdated and rotten, rust everywhere. Furnishings of the mobile home totally worn out despite the new floor. The... rust eats away the paint on the windows and doors. The doors in the kitchen hang crooked, handles totally worn out. No television, kettle or coffee machine. Basic crockery and cutlery worn out. Play area for dogs (Agylity) very unkempt, no lawn mowing here either. Washrooms totally outdated and getting on in years. We have been to many campsites, especially in Croatia, where we have had better 2 star campsites than this one. This campsite can be given 2 stars plus nothing more, as it also has a very high repair backlog.Traduzido automaticamente.

- Holger Z.August 2017PositivosEverything important there. Friendly staff. Electricity, water and waste water on site Good restaurants on site Children's poolNegativosW-LAN with only 100Mb and 2h for free Extra costs for the large outdoor pool or children's attractions Everything alreadyOld but goodThe place is older but a lot of effort is made to keep everything clean and tidy. We were there for a week with 3 small children and a caravan. As the beach was always very crowded, we often went to one of the pools where our children had a lot of fun. Unfortunately, our pitch wasn't very flat because... of the many roots, but all the pitches around us were, so we were just unlucky ;). We thought it was a shame that the children's attractions such as the train ride or the slide park all cost extra. The supermarket on the site is expensive in many areas, which is why we shopped in a town 3km away. Otherwise you don't really have to leave the campsite;) .Traduzido automaticamente.

- Josy D.August 2017PositivosWith cycling there is no one to alert people that they need to slow down it's a wonder nothing has happened yet.NegativosDogs beach only limited during the day to a section of a width of 30 meters with so many dogsUnfortunately, no one keeps to the orderMobilhom area with dogs unfortunately too old and the air conditioning does not keep up with cooling from 37 degrees to 24 degrees takes 7 hours due to poor insulationTraduzido automaticamente.
- Matthias N.September 2016PositivosDirect beach location, pizza tastes good! Well guarded.NegativosNothing foundNice place for visitors with dogs in the off-seasonThe pitches where pets are allowed are located separately and approx. 150 m from the nearest sanitary facilities and the beach. Some of the pitches are very shady and do not allow satellite reception. Separate dog beach for a fee. Limited bathing times for dogs. But after the school vacations in I everything... becomes a bit more relaxed. We were able to take the dog to the beach at any time, nobody said anything negative. The site has everything you need, you don't have to leave it if you don't want to. Very well-stocked Aliper supermarket about 3 km away in the direction of Caorle. Strict access control to the campsite, access from the beach only possible with a transponder bracelet. We felt very safe. The smartphone we forgot in the evening was still on the table in the morning! Excursions to the surrounding towns, especially Caorle, are worthwhile and can also be reached on well-developed cycle paths. Moderate price in the low season. With ASCI 15 euros, dog 3 euros, tourist tax 50 cents per person per day). Fine sandy beach, ideal for swimming, even for small children and non-swimmers.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Paul M.September 2016PositivosDirectly by the sea, the dog is allowed on the beach, which is generally not allowed in Italy!NegativosSanitary facilities and the way there.First visit and not so tinglingWe are here in September 2016 because of the dog. The few dog pitches are very secluded but quite large. The pitches are bordered by signs and trees but no hedges or anything like that. The pitches were about 30cm over the path which was a big hurdle for some. Satellite reception was probably not available... on every pitch. The sanitary facilities were about 150m away, which can be quite a drag. As the sanitary blocks are almost all close to the beach, they are used by the guests of the mobile homes, bungalows and apartments (approx. 70% of the site) for showering after going to the beach, which is how they look, lots of sand. The cleaning staff cannot clean so quickly. Due to the sand the drain of the showers was blocked and it took 3 days, so we had to go another 100m further. For the dog, the lawn, the playground equipment, sandy beach (small corner fenced with rental loungers) was all very nice. The dog was allowed on the beach from 1pm to 3pm and from 6pm to 7am. There are swimming pools all over the site, something for everyone and the water park was free. But not worth a penny for us when the other pools are there. Restaurant was very good, large supermarket but very far away from the dog areas. There are better bread rolls in Duna Verde. You feel like a 2nd class person with a dog, but you are always greeted in a friendly manner, no matter where you are on the site.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Barbara R.August 2016PositivosEasily accessible from Austria.Vacation with motorhome and 2 children under 9 years oldWe liked the location. The extra entrance fee for the water park with 2 slides is excessive, on 27.08.2016 access was free (is this valid in high season?). A minus for the fact that there are NO showers, changing rooms and toilets (children!!!!!) on the beach! We didn't see the market stalls either. PITYTraduzido automaticamente.
- Pat M.July 2016PositivosSeveral pools, so not so crowded. If only certain people (Germans?) wouldn't occupy the sun loungers with their towels!!!NegativosA pool where you have to "pay to enter"???? This should not be!!!! Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Defective chairs and tables at the poolDoes not deserve 5 starsThis campsite needs a thorough renovation...various facilities in the house and pool were broken. Cleanliness looks different to me. Should be expected for 5 stars!!! You could make more of it if you compare it with other campsites? Too bad actually, I'm disappointed....Traduzido automaticamente.
- Christian M.June 2016PositivosRelatively favorable from our point of view.NegativosToo loud music on the beach in the mornings, outdated pool area near the beach.Getting on in years...The campsite is getting on in years, but we still had a very relaxing vacation. The staff are very friendly. The free pool area is getting on in years and should definitely be torn down and renewed. Two small slides with which you slide bumpily into the water on tiles, well. The sanitary facilities are... past their best. We will be vacationing in Cavallino again, as the beach is not spacious enough for us. Approx. 20 meters from the promenade to the sea is too little beach for so many holidaymakers. We avoided the beach in the mornings because the very friendly entertainers had the music very loud. We say that as thirty-somethings who know what a party is. A lot of vacationers had fun at the aqua gym to very loud music. However, this is nothing for a relaxing day at the beach. The large paid pool complex looks good from the outside. One vacationer had health problems on the beach. All the staff including the manager took care of her immediately, great!Traduzido automaticamente.
- Paul-Bruno B.June 2016PositivosGood infrastructure and wide range of leisure activities. Sanitary facilities older, but always clean.Negativosthe self-proclaimed dog-friendliness of the site does not correspond to the facts.really 5 stars ?First of all, we have a dog and our needs are geared towards vacations with four-legged friends. The marketing department of this camp knows its trade, because the videos show happy dogs on their own dog beach, frolicking in the water. The reality is different. There is an area on the "dog beach" marked... by buoys where dogs - on a lead - are allowed to enter. Furthermore, dogs are only allowed in the water at certain times, i.e. until 10.00 am, from 1.00 pm to 3.00 pm and again from 6.00 pm. It should be noted that "Dogs welcome" is written in large letters on the homepage. The so-called agility park (dog trainer) is nice but not a big hit. The sanitary facilities are always clean but no longer the most modern. Otherwise we hardly used the infrastructure (entertainment, sports, stores), so we can't write anything factual about it. We can recommend the small bakery in Duna Verde. Go past the Dog Agility Park, approx. 300 m to the parking lot, then turn left across the road. There are a number of small stores there that are much cheaper and of better quality than the supermarket in the campsite. But that's the case everywhere. The campsite is very large and without a bike you have to walk long distances. The camping pitches offer enough space and there are plenty of shady spots. All in all, we were satisfied, but in September we will be going back to a more dog-friendly country like Croatia, to places we have come to love and know.Traduzido automaticamente.
