The site has very good food at fair prices and everyone here is friendly. If you go to eat at peak times, you should bring some time with you as the restaurant is run by a very nice family, but they always make an effort and the Bulgarian food tastes great.
The cute little lake is just great and absolutely natural.
You can hardly hear the frogs at night, no matter where you are.
There is separate access to the water for dogs. There is a special non-swimmer area for children.
The nearest supermarket is 1.5 km away.
The campsite is usually full so booking would be an advantage. We did it via email and it was easy and friendly. The nice couple always make an effort to ensure that everything runs smoothly. The small lake could be cleaned more often. The pitches are laid out with grass paving stones. Good for vehicles, camper vans, etc., but not so great for walking barefoot. Staff quite friendly and accommodating, were able to change the shady pitch. Nice e-mail contact when making the booking request. Washing machines and dryers available, but € 3,- per cycle is a bit expensive, tokens can be bought at the reception. Dishwashing outside and inside (sanitary building) possible and well frequented. Waste separation desired, unfortunately you don't know where to put the tins (and which camper doesn't have them). The small forest offers beautiful paths for walking. Dogs are allowed on the site (on a leash, but that's totally okay!), poop bags available. The night-time site lighting could be better.
