- Olaf T.April 2021PositivosFriendly and helpful operators, idyllic location, great permanent camper communityNegativosW-LAN expandableOnce a rating as a permanent camper....Why not write a review as a permanent camper? We moved to this site in the spring within the Bergisches Land region, which is a highlight for bikers anyway, and have never regretted it for a minute.
We are a family with a 12-year-old son and a small dog and everyone feels at home here. The sanitary facilities... may exude the "charm of the 70s", but they are always clean and that is the main thing for me. The pitches are nice and big and the community of permanent campers is really great. They are all nice people who are easy to get along with. Neighborly help is really important here. Dogs are very welcome here, but must of course be kept on a lead.
The operators are super nice, helpful and almost always available and if the office is not occupied, there is an (emergency) cell phone number.
What I also find positive is the path lighting at night, I've experienced that quite differently.
The playground is great, there's a soccer pitch, a lovely stream running alongside the site and direct access to the woods and fields for a walk. For us, it's always a little vacation to be here....Traduzido automaticamente. - Mona Lisa L.June 2020PositivosSmall, family-run campsite. Very very friendly! Beautifully situated on the edge of the forest.NegativosVery remote, outdated sanitary facilities No store.Idyllically situated on the edge of the forestWe received a very friendly welcome.
The site is mainly for permanent campers.
Inexpensive.
Unfortunately, some campers simply have no consideration for others. At 10 pm is night rest - why do you still have to play loud music and sing loudly at 10.45 pm? And then be miffed when you ask for peace and quiet... Impossible!Traduzido automaticamente. - Bettina T.October 2019PositivosLocation, friendliness, priceWonderful campsite for relaxing1a hospitable welcome, convenient, wonderful location, great well thought-out brand-new sanitary building with rental bathrooms, top clean, well-kept pitches with a magnificent view and much more.Traduzido automaticamente.

- Philipp P.June 2013The site is located near Lindlar; if you leave the A4 at the Engelskirchen exit, you avoid a lot of driving on the main road. The site is easily accessible and is located in a residential area. The site is dominated by permanent campers, with only a few passing tourists getting lost here - apart from... the obligatory campers with the yellow license plates, who even seem to warm to the Bergisches Land region. Reception is quick and uncomplicated, and you can choose a pitch in advance. If the reception is not occupied, you can reach the groundsman via a radio link. You get lots of information about the area - and if you have any questions, the groundsman will answer them in detail and courteously. Service to guests and down-to-earth, honest friendliness still play a key role here and you feel well received. In Brochhagen itself there is little that is spectacular, the area is only suitable for cycling if you are very hardy; hiking is all the better here. The views are truly magnificent, especially if you come from less mountainous regions. There is no infrastructure directly at the campsite, but there is a Rewe supermarket two kilometers away that has everything you need. The adjoining bakery is also open on Sundays. The campsite's sanitary facilities date back a long time and exude the charm of the smart sixties, but are reasonably clean. It's nice that there is also toilet paper and soap - this is not always the case in much more expensive establishments. In summer, there is a very nice, large outdoor pool in Engelskirchen, which can only be recommended. A visit to the Aggertalhöhle cave in Ründeroth is also worthwhile, which can also be reached on foot if you are an experienced hiker (otherwise you can also find it easily by car and satnav).Traduzido automaticamente.
